These things happen, I understand, but most upsetting was the fact that Qatar Airways provided very little information to those of us missing our flights. While on the plane, when those of us with short layovers mentioned that we may be late, we were told "you'll be fine - they hold the planes for a bit." When we deboarded the plane from New York, we ere wrangled into groups depending on our destinations. Many of us assumed that we were going to be taken to our next flights as we had been told they would be waiting for us. The airline rep in charge of my group refused to tell us any information, however, only admitting after we got confrontational with her that we had missed our flights. She then offered no information about what would happen to us, telling us we'd find out when we got to the rebooking counter. Very unprofessional. I was told that I would have to wait for another 24 hours for the next flight, necessitating that I would spend the night in Qatar. I was put up in a hotel that was decent, but again that offered very little in terms of customer service. We were given an $80 meal allowance, but despite me not using it, I was nickeled and dimed in other aspects to where I ended up paying $20 to help reschedule a flight that I had missed in my destination country. The whole ordeal was a nightmare and mostly due to poor communication and very cold, almost robotic interactions with the QA staff on the ground in Doha."

However, you will not go hungry because they make sure that you stay and hydrated on their flights. I do dislike all the dogs that are allowed in planes. Now flights have babies crying coupled with dogs barking. Takes away from the overall ambiance that Qatar tries so hard to achieve."

My flight from JFK to Abu Dhabi was on an A380 and it was a spectacular plane. The crew was amazing the entertainment selection was great, the bathrooms were clean - it was a great experience."

Cons: "The flight left > 2 hours late from JFK to Abu Dhabi, and my connection was changed midair. Instead of changing it to the next flight, they changed it to a flight 16 hours later so I missed my entire day of meetings. The paid internet did not work inflight so I couldn't check my connection or receive emails. The crew was not friendly, and they also wouldn't give anyone any information about their connections during the flight, which resulted in ~80 people rushing the crew and the desk. It was very messy."

This would effect my choice airline for my future travels."

There were no snack available or provided for kids except the meal box. When requested milk for my kid some milk from flask was given which I was not comfortable giving to my son.. there were other issues but my sons comfort was the most Concerning"

The crew to abu Dhabi was Ok but I had the worst experience ever on the flight to Ahmedabad. I actually got yelled at by an air hostess because I accomodated an elderly couple to sit togather and I sat on next seat over. Not a common sense airline. The Abu Dhabi airport was hot as hell. Yes, inside the airport terminal was super hot, close to 90 degrees.... Emirates is far superior Airline than this."

Cons: "AVML food was requested but I have never had worst food than on this flight (ever in my life). The crew to abu Dhabi was Ok but I had the worst experience ever on the flight to Ahmedabad. The staff was OK only. The entertainment was sub par. I recently flew Delta domestic flights and it had many newer English and Hindi movies than on this flight to India, go figure. I think even Air India may have newer and many more movie choices than this air line. I flew my sick father with Catheter business class but the restrooms in the business class were same small pigeon hole size. We could not even fit inside to empty out the bag. Don't buy business thinking of the luxury of space. It is a myth."

Pros: "On this leg the general courtesy was great especially one particular hostess, Nikita. The movies and certain music on the menu were a good range."
Cons: "The food! 12 hours of mediocrity in a aluminium foil. My wife and my hand held consoles were not working and hence we couldn't use our reading light besides some other functional limitations. An elderly lady sitting in front of me had a bad bout of chills because of the cabin temperature (most probably) the staff never followed up on the help that fellow passengers had given to the lady. My prior two flights with this airliner were much worse My A380 experience in the Emirates has been MUCH more spacious and great meals with a predictably jollier staff. Qatar airways can perhaps even top that. The only thing I feel etihad has over these better rivals is the convenience of the US Immigration. As a NATIONAL CARRIER of the UAE, I'm quite unimpressed and disappointed."

Cons: "For whatever reason they would not let me keep my carry-ons as JetBlue did, so I had to check one of them. They have weight limits for the carry-ons, which I understand, but in my case they really were not large, and not very heavy. It is what it is."

Pros: "I was more than pleasantly surprised by the level of service, comfort and food on this flight. I typically dread these long haul flights, but this was actually a pleasant experience. The fold flat seats are comfortable and roomy, the food and meal service, when you want it is convenient if you wish to dine on your schedule, not the airlines and the general high level and friendly service was much appreciated. The "lounge" space they have between the first and business class cabins is fantastic; its a small bar like area where you can get out of your seat and chat with other passengers, watch news, read or whatever, and not be confined to your seat. Overall a great experience, Arrived having slept, eat and drank well."

Staff was extremely arrogant during the flight, not helpful at all. Boarding process was a huge disaster - no planning, no zone boarding and unnesessary panic. Lastly food, worst frozen food. The portions were too small and very limited service. We won't use ETIHAD again."

I don't understand why this system was set in place if your cabin crew aren't going to use it...? Also did not like the mango custard -- was a bit weird. I'd recommend just plane/vanilla custard -- these flavors are much more widely appreciated by everyone. Mango is too quaint, even for those requesting hindu-vegetarian meals."

Stranded in the Abu Dhabi terminal for more than 24 hours to get back to New Delhi. The airline did not provide a room to stay & forced to stay in the terminal for 24 hours. Never ever travel via Etihad."

After waiting in line for an hour to find out my flight was cancelled, I was told I could either go to LaGuardia for a 1955 flight or I could wait until tomorrow at the same time. Neither flight was guaranteed and since they use AA, there was no other airline I could use to fly out of JFK or get home that day. I paid the $14 to bus over to LaGuardia where my flight was delayed repeatedly and I didn't arrive in PGH until nearly 11p. (scheduled to arrive @ 1720) The flight itself was not bad nor did the crew do a bad job, it was more the general indifference and treatment in between."

Cons: "I was lead to believe I was booking a flight on lufthansa. It turned out it was United in a confirmation email a few weeks following the purchase. Then 24 hours prior to boarding, a notification comes in that I am flying Air Brussels. This leaves me with confusion - which airport terminal to go to, where to check in, who to call, etc. When I finally arrive to the airport at JFK, I find there is no Air Brussels Check in and that I need to go to United. But United no longer operates out of JFK, so I was finally directed to the British Airways terminal to check in with Eurowings. The flight was supposedly a Eurowings flight in collaboration with Lufthansa and United but operated by Brussels Airlines. I’ve never before experienced this miscommunication and confusion with one single flight, especially in my home country. When I booked the flight, it was quite clear it was Lufthansa and I paid Lufthansa prices. I was very disappointed overall with the experience leading me up to boarding time and had I known it was not a Lufthansa plane and crew, I would not have booked it. I hope you can I understand my frustration as this was poorly communicated and manasged and was quite misleading from the start. I would appreciate some compensation or recognition for the confusion as I will no longer be using Kayak or third party booking sites due to the way this was handled. I am a loyal Kayak user, but this was just too much and nothing like I’ve ever experienced before."

Cons: "Poor communication about delays, delayed for over an hour with no where to find once on the plane, nobody offered any of the passengers anything to drink. Overall my worst flying experience with United ever."

Cons: "The flight staff was rude, the wrong gas was put in the plane causing a delay, I missed my connection because of this where they wrote it was delayed because "it was snowing in Savannah" which was a blatant lie, but made it so they did not have to help me in any way since their delay was "weather" related. They could not get my to my destination until noon the next day which forced me to buy a new flight on Alaska air. My flight on Alaska was absolutely fantastic and I regret ever buying any United flight and will not in the future."

Cons: "the wait time. Sitting on the tarmac for 20-25 minutes in PSP waiting for LAX reaffix to clear. The worst is arriving at LAX at 8;39AM which is earlier than anticipated and not getting a gate opened until 9:25AM (approx) sitting on the runway not being told what is going on and when the captain does make an announcement it is to tell us he apologizes for the delay but then proceeds to announce that he and the crew have to go back and to PSP and LAX four more times. I found that inappropriate to tell us about his work schedule when Im trying to get to the gate for my connecting flight"

Pros: "Great crew, polaris lay-flat seats are amazing (so nice to not be sitting 'next to' anyone if you have a window seat). Flight got in earlier than expected."
Cons: "Wish they didn't have the double-pronged headphone jacks so you could plug in your own headphones, or at least provide a little adapter."

Cons: "It was a mess. 5 hour delay. No re-booking. A complete sh*t show. No way to change this thing, as you guys are peddling overpriced consolidator tickets. A mess. Will probably NEVER book via KaiYak again. Horrible."

While still on the runway and for about the first 15 minutes of flight, There was literally a few frozen water drops, condensation I guess, dripping down on me because it was like a walk-in cooler. I asked for a blanket and the flight attendant said they were for first class only. He did then get me one and said "I had one left." Obviously a lie... but I was grateful for the blanket at that point because I was very cold. Other than that it was a fine flight and check-in was a breeze online."

Cons: "I missed my original connecting flight in EWR because there was no gate available when we landed. After waiting several minutes, we taxiied to a different gate. I called customer service to let them know we were on the ground waiting for a gate assignment. Despite this, the flight boarded and left with several people missing the connection even though that flight pushed back later than its original time and departed almost an hour late. The plane was sitting there with the door closed. After that, I was put on the next available flight which was already delayed more than 2 hours. That delay extended even longer and was eventually cancelled due to weather. United CS reps were not willing to address passenger concerns. They closed the CS area in some portions of the airport forcing everyone to a very limited number of reps. I ended up having to rent a car and spending the first 5 hours of my birthday driving home. I should have been able to make my connecting flight and would have avoided the entire mess. Instead, I am out of my ticket price plus the additional cost of renting a car since my changed flight was cancelled due to weather not the gate assignment changes that originally caused me to miss the connection. What should have been a brief 4-5 hour trip ended up being almost a 20 hour day....United absolutely SUCKS!"

We finally landed in SLC 8 hours later than we were supposed to only to be told that they had left out luggage in Chicago. It is now a week later and I still don't have my luggage! This has been the worst travel experience I have ever had!"

Cons: "I wasn't assigned a seat until I got to the gate and I ended up with a middle seat even though the flight was not completely booked. Several other passengers in my situation took it upon themselves to take the aisle seats once we started to depart the gate without asking the crew members."

Cons: "Crew shuts off Two restrooms for there use only by posting sign of "Under Maintenance". These are specially one of the rear restrooms. There are only 6 restrooms in the plane, out of which crew of 5 takes one rest room for them selves. You may divide 200 passengers for 4 Restrooms."

Cons: "My prior flight was delayed from another airline so I missed boarding Air India flight. Air India would not honor or reschedule my flight even with a change fee. Had to purchase a new ticket at last minute at much higher prices. Supervisor was rude to me and unwilling to help and they gave me a middle seat after waiting another 12 hours for next flight. No thanks Air India!!!!"

This happed both for dinner and breakfast. Flight Attendants served only one drink per person and were rude when asked for one additional drink. The connecting flight was 2 hr delayed in delhi, whereas i booked shortest duration flight to Hyderabad paying $150/ ticket due to family emergency but not worth as i was 3 hours delayed overall."

Cons: "Unhygienic restroom, torn seats, frustrated stewardess. This is like passengers finding a charity and paying for airline staff. What do we call this..a failed airline. They should not be allowed to fly and passengers getting hoaxed to book this shifty airline"

Pros: "Flight crew was attentive and served well in such as short flight. Likely food service is not suggested for such short flight. Save money on food and be more creative to serve passengers. I took Air India after a long while, as I got used to Emirates and Ethiad serving my home town Ahmadabad directly from SFO. This time I opted for Air India due to electronic ban on other flights. I paid attention to service by Air India, and I liked their service; they served with grace and attentive to passenger's needs."
Cons: "Food can be better served with a change in caterer who takes pride not just filling order old style, salad needs be taken out if it can not be preserved. Look for a better caterer. Let's look for a better menu. Don't just serve food because you have to. More needs to be explored if this is one necessary evil we need to provide for a short flight of one hour."

Crew did not care to check whether water was available, toilets had paper rolls, etc. The entertainment system was extremely slow and screen froze multiple times during the flight. Audio was very low. At max. volume, I could barely hear. Food was average. All in one flight!"

Crew member suggested I shift to another seat where he said it was working. At that seat the video was not working. On being informed of the same he asked me to shift again. I didn't trust the crew and gave up. Being a long distance flight, working in flight entertainment is a necessary element. The second seat had issue while tilting back. It tilted back almost flat( broken )."

Pros: "My seat back was broken and didn't recline for a 14 hr overnight flight. The plane was seriously oversold-- people were sitting in the flight attendants' folding "jump" seats. The entertainment system for half the plane was frozen (my seat included. And though the crew offered a complaint card, it was never brought to our seat. We'll never fly Air India again."
