Cons: "We had our passports and boarding passes checked five times in the course of 2 minutes by five different people one after the next. My cabin luggage was searched right before boarding. I appreciate the need for security, but that was excessive and unnecessary. In the peak of the Corona virus craze, the security made all passengers take off shoes and walk without any protection. This is not Qatar Airways doing - New York JFK security B S, but I am sure airways companies have some say to change it."

Cons: "Boarding at JFK was delayed a lot and not properly handled. I was in Business class, still there was no information about what would happen when. Onboard, the TV (ICE) and internet were struggling to keep up with user demand. Did not load or connect sometimes. Different crew members had same standard answer - try later. While sleeping in Business class, I was woken up twice by a rude crew member (Velma Ndubi). She even refused to tell me her name because she did not want me to complain. Her attitude ruined the flight for me."

Cons: "29 passengers were arriving in JFK from MSP, a flight that was delayed due to ground staff issues at JFK (which means that Emirates' partner airline had some issues?). Plane was delayed but we landed just in time to make the connection or so we thought. After running through the terminal, we saw our plane attached to the gate for 53 minutes(I have pictures to show) but Emirates gate staff said the flight is now closed, and didn't let us board the flight. They didn't help us rebook our next flight, or pay for hotel or transportation. And some of us couldn't fly for 2 days because they were overbooked on their future flights. And that's what really happened - Emirates was overbooked for our flight, and conveniently used the excuse that they didn't know our flight had landed in JFK (seriously), and their ground staff was totally non challent about it. They asked us to call the partner airline to rebook, who instead asked us to call Emirates. 4-6 hours of calling for most of us in the middle of the night. Emirates has social media presence on Twitter & Facebook but it's like chatting with a wall. Its 100% useless and waste of time, and I have asked them where I can send my complaint but they won't respond."

Pros: "The crew was terrible. The aircraft from AUH to bangalore was in bad condition. My seat would keep coming back if reclined, my neighbour’s seat wouldn’t recline."
Cons: "The airport in Abu Dhabi was a mess! There was zero organisation and etihad ground staff were not managing things either. My bag came back broken!"

Pros: "Good news, the checking in process was so delayed as there were so many people, they made sure all who checked in, got on the plane, no hitches on the lugguages either. I got my lugguage in Singapore."
Cons: "JFK to Singapore through Abu Dhabi. The checking in process at JFK was a mess, it was a full flight. There were many people, trying checking in. Two lines, (1) checking in. (2) checked in, dropping off bags. Some of us who had checked in online was trying to drop off bags only. After waiting 1.5 hours, this line isn't moving at all, while the checking in line was moving. Tried telling the gentlemen in charge who worked there that the checked in line dropping off bagguage was not moving, he didn't really care, they made all kinds of excuses saying other people were waiting, so they were completely clueless as to what was going on. I have never experienced this ever and I fly massively each year. First and last time in Etihad. JFK to Abu Dhabi is a good 13 hour flight. NO SNACKS. SG/BA, or any other airline really has nice sandwishes, ramen, chocolate, cookies, chips. Etihad has NOTHING. Not that I snack but still with a 13 to 14 hour flight, airlines should have something to eat during long flights. Really. Etihad who brands and advertises brilliantly, was extremely disppointing to actually be on the flight."

Cons: "The food options were awful & limited - sometimes there wasn’t actually an option. The flight was so squished & packed and I was incredibly uncomfortable in my seat. The boarding took ages & we were also delayed."
Cons: "The flight left > 2 hours late from JFK to Abu Dhabi, and my connection was changed midair. Instead of changing it to the next flight, they changed it to a flight 16 hours later so I missed my entire day of meetings. The paid internet did not work inflight so I couldn't check my connection or receive emails. The crew was not friendly, and they also wouldn't give anyone any information about their connections during the flight, which resulted in ~80 people rushing the crew and the desk. It was very messy."

Pros: "I appreciated that SOME of the crew tried to help us with our defective monitors by resetting them, but it didn’t work. The landing was also incredibly smooth. Top marks to the pilot."
Cons: "Our monitors and remotes did not work at all, for the entire flight. What’s worse, is the monitors weren’t just black... they were stuck on a bright white screen which were constantly in our face and prevented us from sleeping. Towards the end of the flight, out of desperation for sleep, I placed my blanket over the three defective monitors so the two other people in my row and I could try and sleep, but I was yelled at by a stewardess because she considered it a fire hazard! She was completely unsympathetic. Having a blinding white light in your face rather than an entertainment system, on a 14 hour flight, was torturous. My girlfriend and I were EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in this flight. The food was also very underwhelming and akin to bad hospital food. But at least that was bearable."

I notice inside plane, there was no one guiding passengers with their carryons. Pretty air hostess with heavy makeup was smiling at older couple struggling with their carryon luggage, I helped few of them around me. Plane is really in bad condition - seats are not comfortable, TV is difficult to figure out because it’s barely work, audio jacks are broken. Do not press flight attendant Call button because no one will come to you - I needed some drinking water and press the button, no one showed up for 15 mins finally I was able to stop one who was passing by me and asked her for water, she said “Sorry we don’t have any small water bottle” and she kept on walking. I was like WHAT :)), After 5 mins other attendant gave me a 2 liter bottle and a cup. Later I found by one flight attendant that they don’t give pen to fill out immigration form. Passengers must bring their own pen and keep handy to fill forms. And finally Air India needs to provide some Tie to male flight attendant, One on them was wearing very rundown tie."

The snacks served at Kuwait airport can be slightly different. 7. How to use toilets have to be informed to the passengers as some of the passengers may not how to flush."

Cons: "My son already mentioned that we are vegetarian people when he booked the ticket. Still during our flight the crew said we don't have veg food, only option is non-veg. When I clearly denied to have a non-veg food and some other people also explained them that most of Indian people food habit and culture, finally the staff ready for give the Veg food to me and my wife. We got the food but it took lots of time and cold, no test as well. Is it really good behaviour to customer?? We are senior citizen, we need water for our medicine, I have to asked 3 times then they give me only one time.. Such a annoying and awful experience during this journey. I won't recommend Kuwait airways to my family and friends. Thank you.."
Pros: "The Kuwait business lounge was good especially after the Wingtips lounge at JFK. The staff there was so loud talking to each other I had to asked them to be quiet for the guests these, especially when one is stranded at midnight in a crowded space. The crew, food and seat was good on the flight considering the competive price of the ticket."
Cons: "The flight took off over 3 1/2 hours late. With a 1 1/2 hour connection, I was told when I checked in that the other planes would definitely be waiting for us. Of course that was not true. When I landed at Kuwait, the transit desk casually offered me a seat on a flight 24 hours later, expecting me to stay overnight. No alternate flight arrangements were made as the staff was switching duty. As I was traveling business class and for the funeral of immediate family, I refused to move from the counter. A well meaning but not too effective lady finally booked me through Bahrain on Gulf Air to land at my four hour away destination, 19 hours late, instead of 28 hours. If thenJFK staff had called ahead, I could have easily connected right away without the hassle of pleading and waiting."
