No customer service. Air hosts were doing their job as a chore, no pride in their job, did not come to support even after ringin the call light multiple times. Entertainment system was old and not working for some of us on this long 15 hour flight!
Good leg room, carry on luggage space was great and the crew was very helpful. Overall flight experience was great, taking and land off wise.
The audio head set on the entertainment system was broken. The crew tried to fix it by rebooting it several times but to no avail. It seemed like a hardware issue which should ideally have been caught before the flight. The food was also a bit disappointing - the bread was cold, and the second meal (chicken version) had an odd smell to it.

It was average and uneventful. Borderline of meeting my very low expectations of this airline.
No priority boarding and no concept of queue. The crew kept waking me up. Since I was up I decided to get the desert. The pudding had soured yikes. Coffee was cold.
Great selection for entertainment and great food. Excellent service by flight crew, in the air and on the ground.
Not the most comfortable seats, but no major complaints otherwise.

The flight crew was awesome. Very friendly and welcoming. Served well even in between the scheduled service
Flight was delayed by 5 hours. No reason given other than operational issues. What does that mean? All airport staff sucked at both airports. SFO more so. They broke my bag. There was no agents around for an hour.. Then they said 40$ is the maximum they pay for a broken bag!
The crew should be commended for doing such a great job despite the unruly behavior of some of the passengers. The Legroom on the airline is much larger than most of the airlines I have traveled. The meals served are mostly geared towards the Indian cuisine and it’s pretty good and sumptuous. You are provided with three meals on the EWR-BOM leg viz. lunch, dinner and breakfast.
The boarding at Newark was chaotic but the blame lies on passengers who were not heeding to the repeated announcement from the ground staff. The entertainment system on the flight was very spotty with some terminals being unresponsive to touch. The passenger announcement are very minimal.
This time especially I was surprised by the hospitality of the Captain & the crew they all did a phenomenal job! Sameera inflight crew was v attentive to the passenger sitting besides me, she collapsed due to asthamatic attack , he immediately came gave her O2 & announce for the doctor on board & revived the passenger .
Air India boarding and connections at New Delhi are awesome. City checkin counters, express metro to terminal, easy through connections.
The planes are dilapidated, with broken electronics, and uncomfortable seats (though great legroom for these times); decor is tired and depressing.
