Old plane , a bit beat up
The staff are very efficient and professional. The food was much better than I expected. We were given pillows and blankets . Bathrooms were clean .
The only issue with CEA was checking in and boarding. It was brutal coming out of Bangkok. I’m not sure if this is the fault of CEA or Bangkok Airport.
Everything but the seat
The seat didn’t recline. Very uncomfortable especially on a late night flight
Flight attendants very attentive, courteous and professional. Even while children were sleeping during meal distribution. We were offered sandwiches for them to eat later. Phone can now be used in airplane mode. USB charger via screen.
Monitors sometimes turn on. Harder to give rest to eyes when lights turn on all monitors.

Unable to do online check in, have to waste time to line up in the airport. Not all people need visa to enter a country, this is rediculous that I couldn’t proceed to check in online because I do not have visa to enter my own country. Rediculous
Good entertainment choices, but the system itself was awkward and slow to respond.
The 777 was tired. Tray tables weren’t clean and it was fitted with seats that did not recline. Most uncomfortable!
Food is fine.
washrooms are small and dirty.
I enjoyed the good check in service, and the excellent lounges. As always, the overall level of service on Cathay was good.
The utterly appalling seats on Cathay's old B777s are unacceptable for a premium airline. Non-reclining economy seats which are desperately uncomfortable for any flight of more than 1 hour, and completely unsuitable for an overnight flight. These planes desperately need a refit. Best avoided until this has been completed. The flight was overbooked, and the cabin crew seemed stressed and very busy. As a long term frequent flyer with CX, this was a very disappointing experience.

Long flight to easy to complain about something. But really no problems here

The connecting flight left me. Had to stay in China for a day. Mumbai airport didn't communicate with airlines in China
overall it was good; crew was excellent, kept the plane, specially toilet clean throughout.
food selection for vegetarians better movie selection; english in TV documentaries.

The ground staff in Mumbai airport was rude and disrespectful. These people need special training on communication. Very dissapointed, never taking air China again.
