KAYAK’s top tips for finding a cheap flight from New York to Yerevan

  • There are three major airports that service the New York City region, and they are Newark Airport (EWR), LaGuardia Airport (LGA), and John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). John F. Kennedy International Airport is the busiest airport in the world. LaGuardia and Newark Liberty International Airports are considered secondary airports.
  • While waiting for your trip, relax in one of JFK, LaGuardia, or Newark's airport lounges. In the terminals of any of these airports, you may find the possibility of using a lounge. Guests may make use of the free Wi-Fi and other services offered by these lounges, which may include charging stations, showers, and more.
  • All three of New York City's main airports, JFK, Newark, and LaGuardia, have easy access to nursing rooms. In these areas, moms may use amenities like nursing pods and feeding stations created with their needs in mind. These areas provide mothers with a peaceful setting to breastfeed or express milk for their babies.
  • Terminal 2 at Yerevan Airport (EVN) is a cutting-edge facility that accommodates both local and international flights. The VIP planes are handled by a separate, smaller terminal. Visas may only be purchased using AMD, the local currency. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the terminal as well as stores and restaurants on both the ground level and on the airside, however, nothing is open around the clock. Travelers in economy class may pay to use the airport's lounge.
  • New York's JFK, EWR and LGA, and Yerevan's EVN airport feature services to help travelers who are having problems finding their way around or making the most of the airport's amenities. Reach out to them before, during, or after your trip for more details on their wheelchair rental and airport transportation services. You must provide the airline with enough advance notice if you want to make use of these services.

It was strange that the flight attendant was so adamant about having phones turned to airplane mode that he was calling out names from networks shown and waiting until they were all gone. I've never experienced that before, and after already working through an hour+ delay, it felt tone deaf. I take dozens of flights per year and have never experienced anything similar.

Poor communication, we sat on the plane for an hour before pushing back. They were oversold and with a full plane kept looking for someone to step off for someone else to board. So after an hour wait at the gate we missed our departure window and proceeded to spend an additional hour on the tarmac waiting for a refiled flight plan according to the pilots. Occasional updates, somewhat insensitive crew to passengers needing to use the lavatory (it was 2 hrs beyond what anyone expected). Overall just poor execution...especially when the flight was listed as "arriving early" up until about 30 minutes past our departure time.

The Columbus-based WestJet crews that cover Delta commuter flights between LGA and CMH are excellent - this team included. Our flight today landed 40 minutes early, which is unheard of when flying out of LaGuardia. I've flown with the same crew in more challenging conditions, and they always rise to the occasion with helpful communication to the passengers so that we may manage expectations.

We were skipped when the snack cart passed and then the attendant said we weren’t . I am disabled and was in a row toward the back of the plane which was very difficult for me to navigate. Disabled people should not be forced to walk the plank.

Flight delayed due to ground hold. Republic airways did a great job.

Our flight was delayed multiple times and then canceled at almost 1 in the morning. We are a family of 7, traveling with 5 young children. When the flight we were supposed to fly on finally arrived after waiting all day after an international flight into JFK we were informed our flight was in need of a copilot and once they located one we would take off. Then our flight was cancelled because the copilot was over his hours and they couldn't locate another. They knew before taking off from the previous location that the copilot would be unable to fly. They could have communicated the cancellation of the flight hours in advance. Once they cancelled and the pilot and copilot got off the flight, they joked about it. While there are understandably limits on flight time for pilots, they can still handle the situation in a professional manner. The late cancellation resulted in angry passengers that required police intervention in the airport. It also occurred so late and included other delta flights that after trying 15 different hotels, we were unable to secure a hotel room, they were all booked. No rental cars were available in the area either. We ended up staying in the airport with the 5 children. We made it home after 54 hours of travel with maybe 2 hours of sleep. Our luggage was lost and had to be claimed at the airport at our final destination. This was the worst trip I have ever taken and the worst airport I have ever spent time in. I met two individuals in the airport that were kind and helpful; Tonya Maingot Williams from the can we hel desk that worked to help get us rebooked and home, as well as provide us with care bags for our extended stay in the airport. The other individual was Danielle from Buffalo Wild Wings that was so very kind when we found a place to take our family we were traveling with to eat, all 11 of us and we were able to sit down together to enjoy a meal during such a stressful time.

FA was a bit strange and dodgy not very characteristic of Delta

Third flight in two months where the crew was not there. Comfort seating does not guarantee overhead bin space. Passengers with children are allowed on the plane first - if you are flying to and from Orlando, this means half the plane has boarded before you get on. And somehow all the bin space is taken up. 3 out of 5 flights have had issues with equipment or procedure. Some of these instances caused the flight to be delayed because of a "nuisance" light. One time it was a bag that had been brought on board but did not belong to anyone so we had to return to the gate. Last night we were told the "AC" on the plane doesn't work well and we're 10th for take off- because the crew was late - and that it will get cool when we're in the air. Not sure if this is usual, but I didn't think flight crew could jump seat in first class. Movie and TV selection has not been refreshed for several months- flying one to two round trips each month easily exhausts the list of content.

Great experience nice pilot very soft and easy landing and take off

Flight was delayed before take off and at landing. Baggage took 20 minutes. Flight crew would not serve full soft drink and had to ask multiple times before receiving water.

Boarding was a madhouse. Airport staff was completely disinterested in communicating about the delays. Never again.

The crew and flight were amazing . However , my bag’s locker got broken and no refund provided . Everything else was amazing except this bad incident that ruined my experience

The seats are small and the movie selection was disappointing. However, the food was excellent and the cabin crew was attentive and kind.

Plane is super outdated, seats not that comfortable for business class. Lounge also out dated. They need to catch up to 2024. Don’t think I’d ever fly again.

Aircraft was new. Food so so, especially vegetarian was very disappointing.

LOT airlines wasn't the best. They had trouble with boarding and they didn't have my information on file the right way. They change last minute details without us knowing and everything was a HOT MESS. Lot airlines also lost my baggae which was the carseat and haven't responded to any of my emails.

Tv screen not working. Food in business class was cold & not available

The customer service and the flight experience were very good!

My bag was lost despite an almost 8 hour layover in Warsaw. Nearly 12 hours after my arrival, I have not heard anything about it.

The plane was very comfortable, the seats were great for overnight flight. The bathrooms were spotless the entire flight

Seats! The eternal problem in economy. They are like stones!!

Everything is good except the seats are tightened no rooms for the legs,

The plane's pilots, including the captain himself, thanked me for the flight. I know it's just marketing, but it was really nice to see these people. It's a great idea. Airplane food is never "good," but the entire crew and flight organization were top-notch. I really liked Delta, and I think I've traveled all over the world, and that was something new for me. Maybe even the old planes, the B767, but next time I have a choice, Delta will be my first choice. Thank you, a satisfied passenger :)

It was a great experience. The only thing I would have changed was that the bathrooms were never cleaned and they got very dirty.

It was an OK flight with below mediocre service by their flight attendants

Wasted a lot of time trying to find the CDG lounge - it was not next to the connecting flight gate like the Air France staff said.

The only reason the overall rating wasn't "excellent" was due to problems in claiming luggage. The bags are delivered to the main area (Cinta 35) for domestic passengers, but to a DIFFERENT ROOM for international arrivees. After waiting 30 minutes, someone (who didn't appear to be from Air France or the airport) told us to go to another area. There we found our bags, which appeared to have been awaiting us for a while. We had to go through a bag check before leaving the airport. If we had been alerted to this possibility, or better yet, been to go directly to Cinta 34, we could have eliminated quite a bit of waiting.

I did not get my baggage at my final destination..poor coordination with connecting flights with partner airlines (Saudi airways). Also the food was very mediocre.

Not great , just ok . I expected better food but it did not deliver . Flight staff was ok . The guy at the drop off bag counter was the only saving grace in this whole trip . He was pleasant, friendly and very helpful . You couldn’t ask for a better assistance from him .

The first half from DC to Paris was very good and the staff were very helpful and humble BUT flight from Paris to Mumbai was sad. 1) it was packed. 2) no space on head compartment 3) crews were unresponsive to the calls 4) one crew member literally banged the bottle of water after giving me glass of water. A little water splashed on me and she was unapologetic 5) with so many hours of flight, little leg space should be taken care else don’t fill your airline till brim which affects your crew and they remove anger on us. 6) huge line for washrooms. 7) 2nd half journey was pathetic

To get to jet blue at JFK from any connecting flight you have to go through security again.

On time, great food, good drink selection! Only down was alcohol-free lounge. Lufthansa had a much better offering!

For that price on Business class, I expected to have the pod seats. These were configured as 2/3/2 and my seat mate talked half the flight with a friend across the isle, loudly. Very uncouth.

It was an amazing experience. Flight crew's service, hospitality, and the food were phenomenal. I don't think I'd want to try any other airline company after this. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you Turkish Airlines !

Not good. I was supposed to be in Mint but got in economy class

Not up to Business Class standards. Two of the three toilets were out of order. The hostesses were aware and didn’t show any responsible act to do something. Food quality was not what we expect from Turkish hospitality. Overall we were not impressed and disappointed.

I was not given basinett seat. The connecting flight was missed due to airline fault i was not accomodated for hotel.Drinks were normt served frewuently.Never travelling again on tirkish airlines.I always travel wiyh family by turkish airline but no more.zero stars

This is really the rating of two flights. JFK to IST then IST to NQZ. New York to Istanbul was good. Good crew and all positives. The flight to Astana was so bad that brought it all down. Crew was nonexistent above the minimum, seats were cramped, and it was hot on the plane. Turkish Airlines seems to be slipping down to US based carriers level.

Everything was very good, except that the plane was an hour and a half late

Professional & courteous cabin crew. Food was very good even in economy class

I didn't like breakfast, I prefer plain rolls with butter.

Condor is a very good airline. If you’re transferring in Frankfurt, make sure to allow at least two hours in case your flight is delayed. You’ll also need to go through passport control and then go back through security to get on your next flight, so a window of 2+ hours is needed just in case.

Food could be better. Service was just ok without any enthusiasm...

My flight was delayed twice. It finally left 24 hours later. In addition there were conflicting messages between kayak and condor that made the experience worse.

Some pretty unfriendly check in crew members. This is a no frills airline.

I did not get a flight from JFK to Portland nonexistent Condor flight 308 does not exist and JetBlue knew nothing and someone changed my ticket and eliminated that leg of the flight. I would love to know who’s going to pay for my $750 car rental.

I was disappointed by the crew - poor communication. The food was terrible. We payed for the headphones. What could have been better? EVERYTHING! And my luggage was lost for many, many days!!!

The food was excellent. I had a gluten-free special meal. The salmon was restaurant quality. However, the drink offering was meager. Sparse service, glasses filled half way and when asked for a refill on white wine was told by one crew member that it would cost me extra. But then an hour later another crew member brought it to me finally. — The big problem was that it wasn’t a Condor crew but Condor swapped out its cabin crew w Wamos Airlines Crew last second, because the aircraft needed to be swapped out. The machine used was very old. In-flight amenities of pre-century levels. We paid extra for more legroom but my son’s video monitor (at pre-2000 Niveau) didn’t work at all. Felt like a 3rd class flight. In the end due to air craft change we left 1.5 hours late and the airline did not attempt to make up the time in-flight. So we missed our connecting flight to Nuremberg. There was no attendant to help us with what to do and how to retrieve our luggage. It was quite complicated navigating our way through FRA airport and eventually they put us on a train, and we spent 2.5 hours traveling to Nbg.

No blankets were provided for my flight from NY to Frankfurt. Meals were were cold and tasteless. The flight was delayed almost 2 hours which caused me to miss my connecting flight. The pilot said ground crew would provide accommodation for connecting passengers but none were there to provide any assistance.

Boarding was a mess and started much later than stated.
