That and the fact that 5 employees could not have a sense of urgency to take care of a short line of customers. People could've made their flights but missed them because of the incompetence of the ticket staff. I travel for a living and will NEVER use this airline again for myself or any member of our staff."

Overhead storage was adequate and flight attendants kept an eye on appropriate use of the overhead bin (i.e. used for those passengers sitting underneath or across the aisle). Plane was absolutely on time. Captain relayed weather warning about bumpiness appropriately."
Cons: "Be prepared for bare-bones economy seating unless you want to pay $45 more for what used to be regular seating that reclines."
Pros: "This was our first time using Frontier and we were skeptical because of the low fares. At each step along the way we were glancing at each other and waiting for the other shoe to drop, but were very pleasantly surprised by the end of the trip to have found nothing wrong or hidden. As a person who has flown regularly for over 40 years on both budget and full service carriers, and had always enjoyed it up until the late 90’s, at which time I really began to dread going through the entire process; this was a really pleasant surprise. On our way home in the car after our return, both my wife and I agreed that this was the first time in years that we didn’t have any complains about the experience and that we actually had mildly enjoyed it. Maybe that was just a lack of pain. At least on this first time using Frontier we got more than we expected. I think if you take the time to understand the business model the first time you book and you follow the booking process; the seat and baggage selection choices and the check-in procedures, you will get a good bang for your buck. We did upgrade some selections but even with that, we were still way under the next carriers fare price point. Maybe if we had not taken the opportunity to upgrade during the online booking process it might have been a different experience. This flight was two round trip tickets from Cincinnati to San Diego. The first part was a non-stop and the return was a one-stop in Denver. All three legs were on an Airbus 320’s. On all three legs we had isle seats in the first 6 rows (2C/ 2D, 3C/ 3D and 6C/ 6D). We don’t care about, nor expect frills; we only want to get there and back comfortably with good value fares; and that’s what we got."

I got my plane ticket last min so I lucked out. was pissed that I was going to have to pay for a carryon so I check it instead. either way I saved money that way. from now on I would only fly frontier if I was doing a short distance. two hours or less, overnighters or long distance forget it. not worth going to a chiro after."

Cons: "The departure flight was a disaster. After updating us multiple times on delays, our scheduled 11:57 p.m. left at 5:00 a.m.! And, Frontier charges extra for EVERYTHING. My original flight cost $344. By the time they charged extra for carry-on, upgraded seat, and checked bag, the cost was $483. On the delayed flight, the flight crew drank coffee in full view--nothing other than water was offered after this outrageous delay. Then they had the audacity to offer a paltry $50 voucher that had to be used within 90 days. I had heard many bad stories out this airline but thought I would give them a chance. I will never fly this airline again."

Cons: "I just took a small backpack and duffel bag. They made me pay $40 each way for the duffel bag! I thought every airline at least gave you a personal item and carry-on. This put me in a position of having to put $80 on my personal card for a work trip or to abandon my bag. Ridiculous! I don't like being put in that situation and will remember it next time I go to book. I also recognize they need to make some money off of snacks and drinks, but to not even provide a complimentary drink of water feels extra stingy too."
Cons: "They charge a fee both for checked baggage *and* carry-on. This is not normal for airlines. So basically, unless you're flying with just what's in your pockets, you're going to end up paying at least $25 more than an equivalent flight on another airline. Basically they're gaming the search rankings by trying to make their price artificially cheaper. WATCH OUT!"

In my travel I unfortunately had car trouble with my rental in which I ended up stuck in a sand pit and had to be towed out. Well I knew I would be missing my flight. When I called to change it I was charged $99 for changing my flight. Ok well next day comes around and I wasnt able to make it to the flight because I was falling asleep on the road and decided my personal safety was better than making the flight. Again withing a 10 hour period I called to reschedule my flight and again they wanted to charge me $115 this time because I had to change airports withing the same DC area. on my way from new mexico to colorado (driving) I got into a major car accident involving a semi in the desert on a high way and ended p with no car in TAOS New Mexico... when I called to again rebook my flight I was at the end of my patience I honestly had felt that the universe was conspiring against me keeping me in NM. I This time though I requested to speak to a supervisor and sure enough he was able to help me with out any extra charge to get my flight booked. The level of satisfactory customer service shouldnt be reserved until the customer is pissed off. nothing was more infuriating then to have outsourced customer service from india telling 99 99 99 99 99 and that he cant do anything about it.... If Frontier wants a better review then they need to stop cutting corners I will never fly with them again ....they are a knotch below Aeromexico in horrible customer service. _rene Vincit"
