If there were movies it would have made the flight much easier.
Plane was delayed getting boarded and then again delayed in take-off order. Alaska Airlines must have very little clout at JFK so they don't get priority treatment. All the delays meant we missed the last flight from Portland to Eugene. Alaska did give us hotel voucher for the night...but sent us to a downtown Portland hotel rather than to a nearby airport motel which made for a longer ride at night and then again in the morning. Just made an already long, late night even longer. Hotel was an old outdated Hilton in a slightly seedy part of town. Alaska gave us Lyft vouchers for getting to the hotel, but the return voucher for getting back to the airport in the morning didn't work.
As always to close confinement for passengers not in upgrades. I like that you still get carry on and personal bag.
Flight was delayed for weather, then delayed for mechanical, then just cancelled. Once mechanical problems started I wish you had just started offering rebooking options (at the same airport). I felt my trip was not a priority for you. I called you, I asked for a better option (than changing airports), then I had to literally run around the airport making it happen. Do better.
Better seats in first class and TVs with each seat, especially in first class.
Booked a premium seats weeks ago and got an email the night before that id instead be seated in the cabin. Only reason I booked this overnight flight was for the better seating. All they are doing to compensate is giving a $29 coupon to use on another flight. I won’t be booking this airline again.
Took forever to get on board. Flights was one hour late.
I upgraded my seat and the service and boarding were wonderful. My flight attendant was very helpful when I experienced nausea on the flight (a first time experience). Flight arrived early which was nice. The only negative was many airlines have screens to provide some on flight entertainment, this aircraft did not. I had planned to read and listen to an audiobook on my flights, so no big deal on my part. The USB plug ins were broken on both my seat and the center seat, so I was not able to charge my phone during the flight, I will add 2 of the three USBs were broken on ride from San Diego as well. I would attribute this to the design, it is a very awkward angle to plug in, so frequent and perhaps not so gentle attempts to plug in have caused them to break.
Generally good, seat is tight and cramped. I seated by A row, but my seat don't have a window.
Our flight was diverted to Spokane, WA bc our crew timed out. Then we were flown to San Francisco
This flight was perfect. No complaints and only the highest regard for the crew and ground staff and how they executed perfectly. I fly a lot with United and would request predictability and transparency in their operations instead of last minute changes.
Survey sent before we actually left. Delay after delay. Now a crew problem.
I love flying with United. Unfortunately, I flew on an older plane with minimal upgraded technology (no Bluetooth functionality or handy charging ports). Otherwise, the flight was great and even arrived early.
They changed my seats after I checked in and I was stressed from the time I saw that information until just before boarding, when the gate attendant fixed it, but it shouldn't have happened. And if it couldn't be prevented, then the people on the phone I spoke with should have done something to help, which they did not, nor did they offer me compensation, just meaningless apologies.
Smooth flight, especially take off and landing, and great crew on board. Really loved the stroopwaffles!
Deplaning was delayed because of Jetbridge equipment issues in MKE, causing an issue on an otherwise great flight.
Not really their fault, but a 4.5 hour delay is pretty brutal
we were delayed going into and out of Newark Airport by 3-4 hours each way. Excuses/reasons given were misleading. Weather was cited at first when there was NO weather issue. Turns out Newark had a shortage of staff and runway construction. United knew this and should have NOT scheduled flights when they know we would be delayed so long. I will avoid United and EWR airport at all cost going forward. Delta never looked so good.
Stewardess spilled orange juice on my clothes/seat no help no apology just threw napkins at me to clean the mess up. Not Happy.
leg space better than expected. two washrooms for one plane isn't enough.
