The ticket fare

Seats extremely uncomfortable, thin and with very little room for legs, first time I crossed the ocean without being given a meal, a pillow, any sort of entertainment. Even the water had to be paid. Crew is a bunch of vendors, nothing more: I had a bag under my legs and asked one to store it above since I couldn't for the fasten belt signal on, the woman looked weird at me and said "I'll first wait if anyone else needs that space and if not I'll come and do it"... The other passengers were already all sitting!!! :/ She never came and I did it on my own an hour later as there was plenty of space left. If you want to buy something, tho', they will run to you with that stupid pos and "help" you in a few seconds :))) One hour wait at the airport + five hour flight and if my card didn't work for some reason I couldn't drink water?!? This is criminal. Now I understand why it's called WOW Air, it stands for "Wow, this company REALLY sucks!" I am reevaluating other mediocre companies like Norwegian Air or Meridiana.. They are wonderful experiences comparing to the excruciating one brought by.... Wow!!

If Wow requires you to enter your passport information when purchasing a ticket, they should be able to tell you if your passport doesn't meet the legal requirements of the country you're visiting. My passport was valid in the USA but Iceland requires it to be valid for an additional 3 months beyond my travel date. Wow only let us know about this when we were checking in. Our trip was ruined and they were extremely unhelpful in helping us resolve this. They took our money and said tough luck, deal with it. A total loss. The customer service rep refused all requests to talk to a manager.

Good 7.5

For the price this was an excellent option to get to Iceland.

Boarding process was chaotic.

Expect to pay for everything! Cheap no frills flight. Crew was great and attentive as was checking in customer service. Quick flights for little money. Baggage is very expensive.

No entertainment. Everything had a charge, even water. Customer service over the telephone is terrible and based in India. They can read from a script but can't address real concerns. Email service is extremely lacking as well.

Crowded seating, separate costing for bags resulted in equivalent cost as normal cost standard airlines

Prices are per person and are for e–tickets and include all taxes & fees in USD.

We attempt to get accurate prices, however, prices are not guaranteed.

Here's why:

We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.

We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.

Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.

If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
