Pros: "Everything was on time and ran smoothly. The seats seem to have more room than most airlines. They were generous with drinks and snacks"
Cons: "They were delayed. They wouldn't let us keep our checked sized bags which slowed us down even more. Our next flight left without us while we were waiting for a gate to open so we could get off the plane. There were no more flights so we had to fly to an alternate city and rent a car to get home."
Cons: "An officious crew who said they had a 'seat belt detector' to tell if people's seatbelts were fastened. A late flight... with lies about the reason for the delay."
Cons: "5 hours delay. Most of that time we were on the runway. We even had to deplane and board again. We were given all kind of excuses till the pilot himself said that this is unheard off !!"

Cons: "The itinerary printed out that I was traveling Lufthansa so my nephew left me off at Terminal B; but after trying to print out my boarding pass unsuccessfully, the supervisor said that I was booked on United which is at Term C. I had to rush on the air train to the crowded Airtrain & running thru Security & Customs."
Cons: "Pilot need to improve on communication skill, use better judgement when storm or other situations arise don't boarded the plane and let customers. Wait for 2hrs then turn back to the gate, I don't know what are the protocol, but letting cust. waiting in the plane on the tarmac for 2hrs that's unacceptable. Thank you"

Cons: "They have their own random process of checking in, boarding etc. If you try to interact with a person in any way they charge you for it. That's not how it works for other airlines, and their communications isn't particularly clear about this so charges are surprising"

Cons: "I did leave my freezer Ziploc bag of medication in the front seat pocket of my seat, called spirit and Mccarran airport in Las Vegas and said no one turned in the medication. Told me to call Chicago because that’s where the plane went after leaving Las Vegas, I called Chicago but have not gotten an answer back if it was turned in there. It’s my heart medication and my blood thinner which is very expensive and a couple of costume jewelry necklaces. I wish someone could help me locate this medication, it’s very expensive."

Cons: "Flight 525 to Fort Lauderdale originally scheduled for Monday, Aug 13. When we were about to leave the house we received an email -delay til 5:25, Moments after 6:10, and finally an hour later flight canceled. After a few calls to Spirit customer service, we were offered to be booked for a flight at 8:25. In the process of the conversation, the line was dropped off, minutes later I called again and the agent said that all tickets sold out and first available Wednesday 08/15 at 6;30 am. I had nothing but to agree. I continue to call customer service and after spending on calls hours and hours, I got lucky and booked at the same 525 Flight 24 hours later. Arrived two hours before departure, and got informed that the flight late one hour, then two and a half hours, then 4 hours..... Finally, we took off at 9; 45. From the moment we arrived at the gate 41 and 45minutes before departure no representative was present at the gate. I'm a person with a disability and was trapped in a wheelchair for hours and no one informed about any updates. Hours without water, food and most important information. Thanks to Kayak and Spirit app I got updates on my phone."
