Cons: "The desk attendant tried to bump me off the flight and after a long argument and vociferous complaints on my end I was given a seat on the flight which I had already paid for. After getting a seat for the first leg of the flight I realized I had been put on standbye for the second leg of the flight which meant I would likely get stuck in Panama city. I went back to the desk and after another long argument I was given a seat. I was offered no compensation and they acted like they were doing me a favor by giving me a seat on the flight. When I sat down and asked the girl next to me how her day was going she told me she had had the same expernece as me but becuase she had complained less she had been bumped off of both her flights that she had purchased 6 months in advance without an explanation. Later on the flight from Panama city to san francisco which is a 7 hour flight, Copa airlines has security set up so that you cannot bring any liquids (even water you buy at the airport). This meant the passengers had a 7 hour flight without water. The crewd came through the cabin 2 maybe 3 times with drinks but this is not nearly sufficient for a 7 hour flight if you cant bring your own water..."

Also I would imagine that during Covid-19 these companies would do a better job of not overbooking flights but all of my flights with American this past weekend were overbooked. Which delayed us even longer as they searched for volunteers to adjust their flights. In today's age of technology the idea that they are still overbooking planes makes no sense to me in the slightest. I will be walking, driving or taking a boat before I fly American Airlines again."

To top that, no one at the check in counter had told us that skateboards are not allowed on board (even though they saw us with it). We arrived at the gate, about to board the flight and a second before getting on the plane, we were told that we could not go on with the skate board. All this is while we see people take in strollers that are far bigger than a simple board with wheels. They claimed that it's a "weapon". It is as much a weapon as a stroller. They made us pay additional 65$ (!!!) just to throw it inthe bells with no wrapping or bag, and to sign a liability release so if it will break we wouldn't be able to sue. We felt completely ripped off! The only other option according to them was to pack it and board the next flight (of course this was a non- refundable flight). To top everything off- the airplane was old, they sold one seat to oversized people in a way that it was impossible to have your iwnspace and they didn't even serve water in a 3.5 hiur flight. It was a horrible experience and we wouldn't recommend spirit airlines to anyone ever. We ended up paying an extra 165$!!!"

Cons: "Bummer that the seats don't recline (but for short flights, not terribly bad) We had a layover on both legs of the trip, however were unaware that we would not be switching planes. We had to choose to run off the aircraft to grab a sandwich etc vs waiting 3 more hours to eat. When we decided there was enough time, we made no stops, walked off the plane and to the first food booth we saw, and we walked back to the gate and sat to eat our food. Only after watching someone else run onto the jet bridge, did I ask the gate attendant (who was 5 steps away from me) if we needed to board. She casually said "oh yea, we're going to close the gate in 2 minutes" !!! there was no overhead page/announcement/ or her asking if we were on that flight (when she had seen us de-plane and ask her directions, and could tell on her flight logs that some people were still to board). We were super lucky not to miss that flight and I wish we felt that she was working in our best interest. --This was the only lacking part of our flight. --maybe on boarding tickets, you could ** and state that both legs are on the same aircraft? So we could plan ahead? -- perhaps train gate attendants to page prior to gates closing if not all passengers are on board (like all other airlines do) Thank you for considering changes and feedback"

Cons: "Your web site needs to be brought into the 21st century. Too elementary. Also my 2 hour flight delay was never updated on the website, so my neice was at the airport 2 + hours waiting for my flight to arrive."
Pros: "Make sure if you use a secondary ticketing company that you look into all the the details on the actual site for the airline your ticket comes from since i bought a flight and was not informed it did not include baggage until checking in. They charged me an outrageous amt for a bag with barely 20 lbs in it."
Cons: "Not knowing that baggage was not included until getting to the checkin counter and thn being charged a price that was twice the ticket for the under weight bag. The csr And crew were wondeful. Also the flight was more the thirty minutes late."
Cons: "Almost 3 hour delay because the computer couldn't send the flight plan to the plane (???). They sent an email about the delay 2.5 hours into the delay. Seats on this plane were OK."

Cons: "The ticketing agents were very unprofessional. They were talking loud and chatting with one another. The baggage fees were outrageous $50 when coming in to Atlanta and $65 when going. I will never fly that airline again nor will my friends, colleagues and families."

I instructed her to go to ticket counter to get voucher. No voucher was there. Rep had lied to me. Called back & supervisor pulled phone recording. An hour and a half ordeal. Ended up getting a $52 credit for the baggage fee my kid had paid. Missed midnight mass due to the delay. #sad-panda If you're able to get a super cheap fare, great. If it's over $20, and you're on a schedule, find another flight. my daughter is 5'2, 100#s. She had no leg room. 5'2!!! Keep that in mind as well. Good luck & safe travels!"
Pros: "Seats were uncomfortable the flight was four hors late. The Mechanics on the plane were very noisy!"
Cons: "The connecting flight was tight. No one informed us about delays with baggage. About 40 of us missed our connecting flight to NY after kindly being expedited through immigration and sprinting to the gate. There were no reparations made for the miscalculation and I had to buy another flight to NY from a different airline just to get out of FL. The airline still does not recognize any fault. Totally appalled at the level of competence and customer service. I will never ever fly this airline again."
Pros: "On the way to mke they charged us 200$ for carry ons. On the way back, they cancelled our flight and refused to put us on another until 3 days later. They refunded us $350 and we had to pay another $500 to book another flight home. Horrible customer service. Kayak shoukd not work with them."
Pros: "This is by far the worst airline I've ever flown. I've flown several budget airlines throughout the world, and none of them nickel and dime you like spirit. Also, because it is such a discounted airline, the flight attendants and the gate Crew don't really seem to care about your comfort. The cost of food is ridiculous as is any in-flight entertainment. Not worth it unless you're only staying somewhere for 2 to 3 days and you don't have any bags to check."
