stood in line to check in luggage for nearly an hour. very poor service and not excusable
Same as the previous flight as far as comfort and food. Entertainment didn’t have a watchable screen so everything would need to be watched on your own device in which they didn’t have a charging port that accommodated my iPhone. Seats were very uncomfortable. Staff was very friendly.

Had to go through security at the gate again. Had to take off shoes and go through the whole thing again even though we have global entry. They asked us to check in items bought at duty free during our layover and since we checked our luggage at the original departure airport, they forced us to check in a small backpack. None of this ever happened with other airlines. In addition, no vegetarian food option and no snacks during a 7 hr flight. Luggage limits are unusually small. This is unacceptable. Will NEVER fly Copa again and will tell friends and family to avoid this airline.
Entertainment center did not work and no electric available at seat for 11 hour flight. Didn’t have access to overhead light or call button. Food was tasteless and had a high salt (27 %) of recommended daily salt intake
It was hot and not as comfortable as the flight to Chicago. Must have been a different plane that needs to be worked on or replaced.

Not a bad flight but a long delay boarding and taking off due to the pilot not arriving on time.
The experience with United Airlines was excellent; however, the experience with Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH) was horrible. Although our flight departed from Terminal B, we had to go through security in Terminal C and then get on a train for travel to Terminal B. Additionally, there was significant walking required to get to the boarding location.
Delayed 2 hours while stuck on the aircraft. If the luggage was properly loaded the first time we probably wouldn’t have been delayed at all

The ground closures and flight delays were unwelcome. I think the captain did what he could to manage expectations for the delays, but the stress level increasing in the cabin was palpable with every announcement. It may be obvious to those who fly frequently, but if the ground is closed for us to get to a gate, it's also closed for connecting flights to leave. Other passengers were so stressed they were rude. A bit further explanation could have helped.
Horrible. No AC. No Air inside the plane. We had to deplane twice! It is late almost 5 hrs in total. I almost passed out and about to call 911. I asked the crew to be honest and open the door. The lady next to me was lay down in the floor due to heat and no air inside the plane. I got headaches, can’t wait the replacement flight about midnight Dallas time. I end it up rebook for next day flight and stay overnight using my own pocket in a hotel nearby due to headaches and can’t breath. I still have a headache this morning. Still not decided yes how to file this issue to AA and/or FAA.
They have overselled the ticket and kicked me out from boarding, All my Plans were collapsed and important network meeting missed.also I booked direct flight i have to go through an 1 stop and it was frustrated.

Service could be better especially in business class.. the food also needs to be better and the overall experience should be elevated.
Patrons with larger bags were asked to check the bags when boarding. Seems like the most effective, and least costly way, way to successfully use the cramped space.
Like all planes recently, entertainment is achieved by giving the patron free WiFi and letting them stream shows via the screen on a phone or tablet.
Worst communication. Delayed boarding for two hours without a single announcement until hour 1 had passed - on time status showing until our flight was supposed to takeoff and the crew had already walked away. No one was boarding. Disgusting part of DFW overcrowded with no AC on a 97 degree day. Then the first app update is that we’d take off in 15 mins… but again no one had boarded a full flight. No announcement in the terminal so everyone is just crowded around a disgusting place with no info for over an hour which turned into two. This was an overfill flight and a disgrace to passenger decency all while likely just trying to fix their own issue of overbooking. The worst airline at the worst airport.
My seat had a worn out cushion, which made it a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, the flight was excellent.

Horrible experience with Avianca, they delayed their flight and when we arrived to NYC, AVIANCA took 1 hr y 30 mins to park the airplane and all passenger get off the plane, it made me lost all my trains to get back home and I came back to my place at 3 am instead of 12 am. On the top of that their plane seat are so uncomfortable and is not enough space and killed my legs and knees, Avianca used to be good when it was a Colombian company, now after Brasilian company bought them, their service quality is bad and their flights are delayed and oversold.
I handed in my suitcase in perfect condition at SAL Airport. And in MIA Airport I received it with one corner broken and the wheels bent.
I like the crew members they're very friendly. Clean plane. The flight was on time. I dont like the comfort my car seat its better that the plane seats. They charge for everything. This airline was very good. Now it's a low cost airline
6 hour flight and have to pay for everything 100 dollars to add a carry-on bag is insane
The check in is the only positive thing in Avianca. The seat is the most uncomfortable I have traveled, the distance is minimal.

And you guys charge $130 for a carry-on did they wanna let me in with my carry-on that I travel everywhere with the luggage you guys are such a dog thank you
