Alaska, in my opinion, is one of the best airlines. I have flown them for 30+ years and watched them grow from a small NW carrier to the size they are today. Day-in, day-out they are very good.
I did not try their food or log in to the WiFi but the rest of the trip both ways was easy and most pleasant.
Staff on the flight were terse, bossy, and impatient with people on the plane.

Birding was slow. extremely slow; please do experiments on efficient plane boarding experiences; especially regarding passengers that pass their seat number…
I like not much people. Could tell the kids to be quiet.
Free WiFi was awesome. I hate the five hour delayed take off.. arrrgh!
Flight was on time departure & arrival. Staff was efficient & attentive. Food was better than normal. Wish they had some sort of entertainment screens loke Delta. I would fly Alaska again though.
Fight attendant excellent Food very good, not great Seats were stiff and uncomfortable Flight was overall very nice. Last three flights were burdened with miserably uncomfortable seats. Hard stiff no padding.
Boarding much smoother than previous United flights! The flight attendant helped monitor putting bags in overhead bins. On united no help resulted in bins in first class being filled before I boarded for first class. I had to search further down into economy. Then got stuck unable to return to my seat. People were putting backpacks that needed to go under seats in bins. It was a mess. This flight was a refreshing improvement. United also had so many categories of preboarding that first class could not board early. The pilot talked to us directly instead of using the intercom before flight.
I was very unhappy with the lack of communication from the cockpit. It took close to a half an hour before we took off after the doors were closed, and we got no announcements as to progress. It would be nice to get some acknowledgement of the situation and updates as to when we are taking off.
American Airlines is a great dependable airline, on time arrival and departure with polite crew and staff.
Delayed flight due to maintenance and I have had multiple delayed flights due to maintenance in the last month plus
Horrible experience. Food was ridiculous, insufficient, and not appetizing at all. They served sugary granola bar for breakfast. Furthermore, my bags were delayed and delivered damaged and American made it impossible to file for damages. Furthermore, the flights were delayed causing unnecessary stress given the connecting flights. It was awful experience, would never want to fly American.
My table was broken so it made it difficult to eat the food during the service. I was also informed that my luggage did not make it with me to Phoenix. I live two hours away so this makes it even more stressful to try and arrange a time for pick up
Movies on my phone are great. It would be nice to have a gluten free snack option.
Seat bottom cushions are not good. I’m 165# & they hurt my butt. Plenty of legroom.
The airplane seats were spacious and comfortable, and the flight attendants were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious like never before. The blankets and toiletries were thoughtfully provided. The captain's navigation was steady and reliable. In short, having flown with Starlux, I won't consider any other airline next time.
Like: flights are on time, good boarding process Can improve: planes are old, improve entertainment and make space more comfortable
My flight got delayed a total of five times. And the boarding gate changed four times. most of the time the platform was not up-to-date with the changes taking place. The most discouraging part of the entire trip by far.
