I liked the check-in kiosk, but only because I had no bags to check. I liked being able to choose my own seat. I liked that the flight was uneventful. I liked the staff at all stages, they were friendly and helpful.

They made me shove my purse into my knapsack to fit within their two bag policy. That's a first for me. My Delta flight did not do that.

I've always wanted to go to all five Manhattan boroughs in one day. Thanks to Delta, that happened.

The plane broke down as we were about to take off. Delta rebooked everyone on to new flights because it was pretty obvious that plane was not going to be fixed in time. The crew did their best given the situation. The situation was absolute bs though - we had to take a cab to JFK for our new flight and do the whole security thing again and all that annoying stuff. Thanks for wasting 8 hours of my life, Delta.

The crew was lovely. Really nice, and did a wonderful job with the cart service.

We ended up being deleyed about 30 minutes, in damp weather. It's not like it was snowing. Not sure why it took so long. B/c of baggage charges now everyone brings a carry on. This seems to slow the process of boarding as know passengers are asked multiple times to check baggage (for free, which is the one nice thing) before boarding b/c the overheads will be too full. Group 6 which I was in seemed like it was just the rest of the plane. Super busy, took me forever to get to my seat all the way in the back. Why don't airlines reverse board? People sitting in the back should board first. I feel like this would save so much time.

I got there safely.

I will never fly American Airlines again. From the moment I checked in with the ticket agent to getting off the plane it was a disaster. The ticket agent was rude, hostile, and dismissive. Employees walked through the line at security forcing everyone to consolidate their belongings to one bag. I had a large wallet in my hand and was told I had to step out of line to put it in my backpack. They only allow you one bag to carry on without paying extra. At the time of boarding they announced that the overhead storage was full so even those that paid extra were still forced to check their bags. The plane was dirty, the service was slow, overall just gross. They don’t have WiFi or in flight entertainment so I paid the $20 to purchase the WiFi. It was worthless. I couldn’t stream anything, even music kept stopping to buffer. I understand it will be slower then on ground WiFi, but it was impossible to watch anything and a complete waste of money.

I liked having the built in screen on the a321. Americans streaming service has lots to offer but the built in screens have more choices. I get why they want to just offer the streaming but I appreciate all the choices! There was a group number enforcer at the gate to make boarding more organized! She was polite but told the mobs that try to use the premium line to wait their turn.

I asked for upgrades to and from Chicago. I’m a gold member and fly for leisure fairly often. There are so many people looking for an upgrade these days that you’re rarely getting the opportunity

Flight crew out of position is a management problem, don't make it an inconvenience for a 737 full of paying passengers!

Premium economy is the way to go for a long haul flight. We were comfortable and able to get some sleep.

The crew on the way to Sydney was a little more present. There was always someone milling in the galley between the business class and premium economy cabin. The crew returning came through the cabin often and were attentive if you asked for them but you had to seek them out.

The pilots and crew at Delta were courteous , accommodating, polished in appearance, and welcoming . I was greeted with a smile and a friendly attitude by everyone from the gate to the plane. The plane felt modern updated and the seats did not feel like they filling hadn't been changed since the 1970's. I was impressed by the lighting in the plane as well. Overall my experience was surprisingly pleasant. I fly often and typically fly US Air ( now American), the service , the planes , accommodations, and rewards have plummeted to lack luster at best. With the merger . I always assumed that Delta was a moderate airline, and U.S. air ( now American was higher end. I now realize that I had them reversed. I will absolutely choose Delta from now on as my first choice to fly.

Overall a great experience. I was on a short flight buy would have loved the snack cart either way.

Everything worked the way it was supposed to. Bag transfer through customs and transfer to domestic was easy.

Snacks and food in general on US operated airlines is generally sad. American Airlines should learn from Qantas about food quality and service.

I had a large wallet in my hand and was told I had to step out of line to put it in my backpack. They only allow you one bag to carry on without paying extra. At the time of boarding they announced that the overhead storage was full so even those that paid extra were still forced to check their bags. The plane was dirty, the service was slow, overall just gross. They don’t have WiFi or in flight entertainment so I paid the $20 to purchase the WiFi. It was worthless. I couldn’t stream anything, even music kept stopping to buffer. I understand it will be slower then on ground WiFi, but it was impossible to watch anything and a complete waste of money.

I liked the check-in kiosk, but only because I had no bags to check. I liked being able to choose my own seat. I liked that the flight was uneventful. I liked the staff at all stages, they were friendly and helpful.

They made me shove my purse into my knapsack to fit within their two bag policy. That's a first for me. My Delta flight did not do that.

My aircondtuoning unit was broken and blowing full blast on me. My flight attendants mitigated the issue for me and also gave me a free drink to compensate for the issue. I was very pleased. Go Delta!
