Once you buy the ticket then you send clarification letting the passenger know they have no rights I had no right to anything I was wondering if they were going to tell me I had to clean the plane in order to be transported from New York to Spain. It was a low cost ticket on a very convenient transatlantic flight from RDU, "Easyjet" pricing brings "Easyjet" seating. I have flow a lot, 3MM miles on UA alone, and this reminded me why AA did not get much of my business! I will have to revert to the "Continentalised" UA (another sore point!)."

Pros: "Upon leaving Raleigh, N.C. Our plane was carrying a fallen soldier and a marine who accompanied him . They announced this and gave the other passengers the opportunity to walk to an area to watch the very solemn ceremony. It was all done with respect and handled timely. The flight still left as scheduled and arrived on time. Not that this was the most important part. Even if it had caused me to miss my connecting flight, the ceremony for the fallen hero was more important."

Cons: "We could not check in online because we refused to pay for seats that I felt that already purchased or was entitled to one so I bought a ticket. When we got to the airport and checked in they did not put me and my traveling partner together meaning they didn't see them together not to mention. Our flight was delayed and we only have 4 minutes to get from gate a to gate. We got to the gate collected our boarding passes found out we were seated at the very very very back of the plane right next to the restrooms.........NICE"
Cons: "When I booked my flight, I used Kayac like I always have in the past. To begin with, I selected several flights that were listed, only to have it tell me that this flight is no longer offered, which I assume is engineered to get me to select a more expensive flight. Once I finally found a flight that was still available, I selected it and began the process of providing information and selecting seat assignments. On 2 of the 4 legs of the round trip, there were no more seats available except for upgrade seats, which resulted in an extra $100.00+ in charges. Then when I finished the transaction, I noticed an extra $200.00 charge added. End result was that I ended up paying over double what I would normally pay for this same round trip that I have made many many times. I feel, no I know, that some customer relations person will look at this comment and reply with a pre-generated response apologizing and hoping I have a better experience in the future and thank me for using Kayac. Big companies like yours look at one customer as no big deal. I'm a Physician and have the ability to reach out to multitudes. I'm going to make it my mission in life to reach out to as many people as I can through word of mouth, signs in my office, Internet and social media to let them know about the deplorable practices of your company."

That has the consequence of the crew getting on the PA system asking people for change, and scurrying around the cabin in a desperate shell game exchanging bills. It's 2016. I needed to be at work in Des Moines Monday morning at 8 and they bumped us to a flight from Chicago to Des Moines for 12:00 pm Monday afternoon. We had to pay $280 to rent a car and I drove all night and went straight to work without even going home to shower or get ready or anything. My 4 and a half year old son had to endure the whole thing too."

Cons: "Luthsansa sent the reminder 30 prior the flight that was a delay on the flight operated by United. I called customer service they do don’t helped and hanged up twice. Finally after waiting for an hour on the airport the same flight was change 4 times more. A manager in United got us in a different flight but we arrived 40 minutes later to Madrid and missed our connection to our other flight. I had to buy a one way expensive tickets because my connection was loss due to the issues with the FL rigth from Charlotte"

All United employees were rude and non helpful. We were forced to switch airlines to Delta, and I will never fly United again. Very disappointing, we got into Chicago Friday night at 12PM CST, 1AM"

I've been in the airport and they did not give me a hotel or vouchers for food or ANYTHING! Most horrible experience with United airline! NEVER fly with them!!!"

I was originally scheduled to arrive at 9:46 pm but arrived around 1:00 am. This has been happening more frequently on flights on United."

Cons: "My flight was cancelled due to the weather. I had to stay at the hotel with my parents and then fly next day. I had 11 bags and was told that United can't hold bags in airport so I had to take them to the airport. I paid twice for my luggage . I paid about $700 as a sequence for the flight delay."
Cons: "I got to the airport 40 minutes early. The flight was out at 6:20, I was there by 5:40. They did not let me print out a boarding pass. I could see the gate from the security line and the security line was EMPTY. There was no reason for them not to let me get on the plane, but they ended up scheduling me for a flight to Denver with the connecting flight in the morning- delaying my trip 24 hrs and charging me an extra 125$!!! I ended up paying an extra 85$ to American and was able to get to PHX that afternoon! The ladies at United were straight up RUDE too. When I told the lady at the counter my name she rolled her eyes."

Cons: "I flew to Charlotte, NC last week from Houston with my husband for a funeral. The flight there went smoothly and we used the United app to check in and get our boarding passes. When it came time to check in for our flight home my husband was able to get his boarding pass, but they said mine was unavailable. Obviously concerned I called United. After being on hold for over an hour I was able to speak to a representative. I was told that I hadn't show up for my flight to Charlotte... so they had canceled the returning flight. Not only was I on that flight my boarding pass was scanned twice (one at security and once during boarding). The representative then told me to go to the airport the next day and "try" to explain what happened. I don't know if this was some sort of glitch in the system, but I was very concerned and upset that someone could be on a flight with no record of them being on the plane... and that I was having to spend 2 hours trying to figure out if I could go home after a very stressful day... during a time when I should have been with my family. The next day I had to show up the the airport extra early while the representative there tried to figure out how to reactivate my ticket. Overall, an awful experience... I don't think I will be flying with United again anytime soon."

Cons: "My vehicle keys were removed from my checked luggage requiring to pay extensively to have a locksmith come to the airport the next day to create new keys. I slept in the parking lot due to the fact the locksmith could only open the doors and could not cut new electronic keys until morning. I am extremely enraged over this incident. I know the keys were contained in this article due to the fact that the Keychain was left on top, without keys. I could not imagine why someone would remove these keys from my Keychain that holds only those keys. I would like to hear your openion on the matter. Thanks, Alexander Kruse"

Pros: "The first leg of our trip started late and we were parked on the tarmac waiting for a departure gate. Once we were allowed to depart we had the desk at that gate radio ahead. After sprinting to the connecting flight they stated they had already stopped boarding even though we were five minutes earlier then departure time. We had to take another flight in the morning ended up costing a days worth of time and a lot of extra expense."

Pros: "Although it was a new airliner to United, it had noticeable more legroom than the Airbus aircraft that other airlines use. Luggage room for your carryon was ok, though not near as convenient as the Boeing's."
