They also served drinks and never checked back to pick up the garbage. Didn’t tell us to raise our seats or put up our table trays before landing. So, as I exited the plane I handed them my garbage! I wasn’t going to be rude and leave it in the seat pocket or my seat …where I found crumbs of food on when I boarded the plane. Was just very dissatisfied with this crew!! I have been flying a lot lately using delta. I’ve had some delays but they’ve always been accommodating, this crew was not! What a shame!"

Another Delta agent nearby had to show them a copy of the policy before I could get my baggage fees waived."

I am POSITIVE that several of those people missed their connecting flights as the flight attendants and crew did not allow for them to leave the plane first. As people seem to be so self-centered anymore, the attendants should have announced that people were not to leave until all passengers with connecting flights had left the plane. Very sad that people can't use common courtesy all by themselves, but as they can't, it should have been enforced by the team on the plane."

Cons: "When I checked in online, I received boarding passes for the first two legs of the trip, but was told to see a gate agent in Amsterdam for the boarding pass for that flight. It turns out that there was a problem, attributed by one of the KLM staff that I talked with to "a communication problem between Delta and KLM." As a result, I was finally given a stand-by boarding pass. Since the flight was full, I was denied boarding. After hours of trying to figure this out, the KLM staff put me on a flight for the next day and organized a stay at an airport hotel. The KLM staff were very nice, but it seemed to take a very long time to figure this out. They also failed to note that the denial of boarding in the records, which caused a problem in my return flight. The upshot: I missed a follow-on flight to Budapest and had to pay a huge rebooking fee for that missed flight. I also missed a day of my vacation."

One hour later there is still no information as far as when the fight will leave but they kept updating the boarding time. There was only one person of the counter who could help re-assign passengers to different flights due to their layovers. After waiting in line for 40 minutes and the line making no movement I called the airline 1-800 hundred number and explain my situation to the American Airlines Airlines representative. they really give me a new flight that left 20 minutes later after my call if I did not call I would not mean it that flight nor any other fights that morning because they're all in the afternoon."

When there are hurricane and flooding conditions at a destination, CUSTOMERS should have the choice whether they want to CANCEL or reschedule. Simply providing a small window of time for a fee-free flight change to the same destination is not acceptable. The flooding is still not alleviated inany areas and the change period is over."

When I took a flight from New York to China and rode United Airlines we had every movie selection imaginable."

Attendant, when he finally appeared, seemed, to this traveler at least, unengaged, abrupt, even rude, certainly not as welcoming and helpful ad other UA counter attendants at busier airports and at more demanding times. The word lazy comes to mind. The same individual handled the gate. His demeanor there was similar. If it is UA policy to leave counters unattended, an explanation should be posted; if present policy requires one individual to handle counter and gate duties, perhaps more help is needed. This experience, all the more frustrating when a passenger ruses early so as to comply with recommended arrival and boarding times, combined with the fact that the incoming flight significantly delayed AVL to Washington depart setting the tone for a mostly mediocre experience crowned by a painful trek from terminal A to terminal C to catch the connection to PVD. Not a best effort by UA. Outstanding flight and cabin crews saved the day."

Pros: "United crew were incredibly kind and accommodating. We had 2 lap babies and a 3 year old. They took our carry-on suitcases and checked them through to our destination without charge -- freeing up valuable hands in the process. They also arranged seats to make sure there were enough air masks for us and our 2 lap children. Our 3 year old had his own seat. In doing so, they moved me and 2 others so that my wife and I were in adjacent rows and there was an empty seat next to each of us (where our babies ended up sleeping). They were very kind and helped us in every way. Overall this was the best experience I've ever had on a flight, period."

Cons: "Baggage took forever. . Caused a lot of confusion if at right claim carousel. Over 30min & counting...."

The Asheville airport is small and the only restaurant closed - so for 4 hours we were left with no certainty, no food, and incorrect answers. Perhaps it is because airport is small, or the particular staff people were unable to focus. Flight itself was great."

Pros: "The people at the gate were very friendly and helped ensure we made the plane although we were late because of a misunderstanding of the boarding times. The original itinerary was booked through Kayak for Lufthansa months ago. The flight was 10:25 and boarding time was 9:50 up until the night before the flight. The crew members made a remark while we boarded as if it was because we went to the duty free. It was not because of the duty free visit and would have liked to tell the flight attendant to keep that remark to herself or wait until she was in private with her coworkers. It's a matter of professionalism if she wasn't going to confront me personally."
Cons: "Plane was old. The overhead compartments kept opening upon takeoff and landing. Although passengers were able to close them, they would just open again. This posed a safety concern to the passengers near the compartments. (3 compartment doors that I know of opened). The TV screens were unsatisfactory for an international flight greater than 5 hours. The food was disgusting and competitor airlines offer a much better selection for international flights. Would not consider United for an international flight based on this experience despite price."

This was my second time giving United a chance as I normally fly Delta. I don't think I'll make that mistake again. I understand a late night flight doesn't have a meal service, but snacks of chips and bananas is not my idea of how you should serve Firat Class passengers. I would have a hard time recommending anyone choose United as their airline. Time for an upgrade of not just the seats, but overall customer service."
