Pros: "Crew was great and overall flight was smooth."
Cons: "As we were boarding they told us that all overhead compartments were full and would have to check our carry on bags. Once on the plane the over head compartments above our seats were empty and we could of carried on our bags. We did carry on a so we wouldn’t have to check our bag. This was very frustrating"

Cons: "My first flight was over booked and I was nice enough to give up my seat, however Alaskan gave me a $250. Voucher for another time. But my frustration with the flight that I was put on to Seattle and the continuing flight from Seattle to Burbank was delayed and not arriving for another hour late at 10:45pm, therefore I had to make other arrangements for a ride home from the Burbank airport costing me more money to pay and Uber ride back home to Simi Valley. Getting home way later than I would’ve liked to (11:45pm) considering I have to be at work at 6am. So I wasn’t too pleased with the flight delays"

Cons: "No seat room or real leg room and I am only 5’2”. No in- flight screens and unable to connect to WiFi even though I had the app already downloaded. But, again, why do I need to use my own device? Back of the chair that faced me was dirty and had food residue on it— hard to clean with only 5 minutes between disembarking and loaded next set of passengers."

I called the flight attendent over to ask if it would stop and she told me it would not stop, it happens to any window seat because of the vent... I’ve flown a lot and NEVER had ice fall out of the vents repeatedly. Her response to my question was rude and she made me feel stupid for asking about the problem in the first place. The people around be we’re even shocked by her stern and rude response."

Cons: "I was given an option to change my seat at the check in kiosk, after selecting a different seat it told me they could not change my seat at that time. As soon as I boarded I asked one of the flight crew in the back if it was possible to purchase a cheese platter as I was really looking forward to it and was already hungry since I was trying to save room for it. She explained it was a first come first serve... By the time the lady got to the back she stood there for a while gossiping with another traveler without even glancing over at us and was holding our commentary cookies in her hand. She finally acknowledged us and when I asked for the cheese platter I was informed they had sold out... At that point I was HUNGRY and tired and honestly irritated that we had to sit there for several minutes without being acknowledged so she could gossip with a passenger. I ended up having to buy a box that I really didn't like but I didn't want to be cranky cuz I was hungry and I needed to eat something. Also, I had a middle seat ALL the way in the back of the plane next to a crying baby, which I couldn't change even though I was "given the option to." I have a difficult time flying if I can't see out the window. That just added to the irritation of the situation :/ I fly Alaska a lot and I was surprised at how bad this flight experience was..."

Pros: "My husband paid extra for an elite seat. It was very roomy and comfortable. I got a nice snack but didn't get a complimentary drink. We got to San Jose 15 mins. earlier, that's why. The return flight from San Jose was wonderful. I got upgraded to an elite seat, better than the one I paid for, had a very nice seat companion and got my snack and a complimentary drink. I wish the trip had been longer. I have only had good experiences on my Alaska Air flights. About 5 now. Staff also very nice."

Cons: "Check in staff at Assistance counters either had problems with their computers or couldn't understand reservations. We had a pet for which we had paid for round trip reservation months ago, yet agent took quite awhile to reconcile our reservations. We stood in line for nearly a half hour during which their were very long lines at each check in point and at least one or two agents left on breaks while the lines were still very long. At Burbank the agents were fast, accurate and there were almost no waiting. The flight itself was great and the flight attendants were excellent; but not impressed at all with check in at Seattle."

Ratty dirty old thing, if it's not going to be used get rid of it. Had to physically tie it up then it fell on me and I had to tuck it in my seat pocket to keep it off my leg. Lame food service and minimal drinks. Crew was friendly tho. I've had much better from Alaska in the past."

Since I was sitting almost all the way in the back of the plane, this made it very easy for me to exit the plane quickly. Those families bring kids, screaming kids to a section filled with higher fare paying customers. The FA in my section had such big hips, that she knocked my shoulder EVERYTIME she walked by. Not only that, everytime she did the courtesy reach over to grab empty cups from the middle seat, she hit me with her trash bag. Woulda been fine had I been awake, but I was trying to sleep in between the bouts of screaming from the devil possessed kids."

Then our incoming flight was first from San Diego, then Los Angeles. The arrival was delayed several times. Then our boarding was delayed several times. By the time we we in the air, we were even later. The flight was so turbulent, there was no food or beverage service, which isn't important anyway since that has become a token gesture by airlines anyway. . If this was an isolated incident, I could ignore it but it seems that this almost always happens when I fly United."

I would suggest looking at a different airline, perhaps one that cares more about the passengers iteneraries than the number of passengers."
