We had a great experience with Delta. They helped us from the start at the kiosk all the way to our final destination, including help reassigning and upgrading our seats free of charge at the gates, escorts with the wheelchair for my brother and even getting our luggage at baggage claim for us. I also had special help because I forgot my pillow on the plane. The wheelchair escort contacted for associates at the check-in desk all the way back to the plane and retrieved my pillow for me.
The internet that was free was terrible, the turbulence was pretty bad - uncontrollable I know.
Very good flight. Crew was great. No issues and we even arrived early.
Got rerouted from a straight flight from Orlando to Atlanta to Knoxville to a flight from Orlando to Detroit to Knoxville! Seriously!! Flight delay out of Detroit! Long day for what should have been a pretty easy travel day!
Boarding in Amsterdam is always chaotic. More complicated than needs to be ( boarding pass checked twice, once for general security, then by the airline). The bathrooms on this flight are dirty, and smelly. The food was mediocre at best The crew was decent
Didn't like sitting on the waiting pad for 30 minutes right after departing the gate. If you're going to do that, just don't board so people can still get up and walk around in the terminal. My luggage was damaged by the baggage handlers.
The gentleman at the gate I think his name is RIE was exceptional
Loved the crew! Sucks that we went from 1 hour and 8 minute layover to a 3 hour layover. But weather sucks like that.
Everything could have benn better. Short fly, no food, no entertainment and no wifi.
On the return flight, flight attendant Britt went out of her way to inform passengers that several of us had tight connections.
It was okay. Mothers with rowdy children should be invited to sit in front of them.
We missed our connecting flight in Frankfurt do to security and all hell ensued then.we got rebooked to Washington got there round 10 am ish didn't find out till 630 we were rerouted to United!! Then we started getting updates
Movie selection was nice and chicken with rice dinner was good. I did not like the pizza thing they served for breakfast/lunch. It was like a hot pocket but mostly bread. A small sandwich or cheese and cracker snack and fruit etc would have been much better. Also they did not announce trash pick up so a lot of trash was left by everyone when departing.
Too tight connection. Lufthansa staff pulled 12 of us out of passport control that had tight connections and took us about 1/3 mile AWAY from our gates and put us in another slow, long line. Needless to say all of us missed our flights and the Customer “Service” staff was rude and not helpful at all. Was rebooked from a direct flight to one w a 6hr layover. Asked about an other option that was on my app and was told to book it myself online (which would be $300 extra pp!!). Got rebooked again w a tight connection which was also missed. Rebooked into middle seats that didn’t recline for 9 hr flight!! No compensation (and we paid for seats!) Ended up taking 26hrs to get home from Europe to North Carolina! No longer a fan of Lufthansa—2nd time having these kind of issues w them!
Airline food is airline food, but the plane was wonderful and the seating comfort outstanding. One of my best flights in quite a while.
Everything went well. I will fly with Lufthansa again. And use Kayak whenever I book flights
The food not that great. Did not like the fact that we could not purchase upgrade at the airport
The flight attendants were superb and the service was outstanding. Some passengers with small children were very rude and inconsiderate, kids were constantly crying and some were running around the aisle unsupervised.
+ Clean, modern plane. - Despite the cabin had only 50% occupancy I was cramped in a row with 2 other people. Almost all other rows had only 1 person. I would have expected the airline to offer assistance other than a flight attendant to tell people in the back of the plane to find available seats. Next time I will not purchase an upgraded seat and hope I get my personal row for free.
Delay with the flight with one day later, and then from Frankfurt 11 h delay, this is unacceptable, what a shame
