Everything was fine it was just cold
The airport needs to have some type of shuttle for passengers who have to make connecting flights between Hawaiian Airlines & Delta for example. I’m 65 & my sister who was with me is 70, lugging our luggage from one end of the airport to the other was extremely difficult.
The staff was the highlight. Only thing that could have been better was the temperature on the flight from Hawaii to Seattle. The plane was too cold to get comfortable
I loved the hospitality of the crew, they were a great crew. What I didn’t like was how the airport I was going to be in for a layover closed down due to it raining in the area. I missed my connecting flight, and got put on a flight that departed 8 hours from the time I arrived to the airport. I also have no news on where my luggage is.
Cons: "The social distancing, the cdc is recommending 6 ft but there are passengers directly behind and in grinning us and only one passenger seat empty between 2 people. With covid on the rise, how are you actually doing your party to take care of your customers."

Cons: "With covid in Seattle I was placed next to a restroom. I did not see any bathroom sanitation occurring during the flight, and no sanitizer available anywhere."

Cons: "My flight to PDX was quite bumpy so food and beverage service were impacted, which I totally understand. However, the fact that I was not served at all, does not sit well with me! They had to stop service with only a few rows left to go due to turbulence but rather it just being a delay in service, the flight attendants never came back to check on the customers they hadn’t served even when the seat belt lights turned off. I really enjoy flying Delta but not this time!"

Waiting to see how they correct this very expensive issue. And the vegan tapas option for food was not good at all. Ended up staying hungry for the duration of the flight. But my wife enjoyed her turkey sandwich."

Nobody can hear or see anything. Why not use the big LCD displays at the gate??? In the plane they had to restart the computer system as some TVs were not working and it took longer than they said. Toilets were kind of stinky and I could smell them from my seat on row 26. Blankets are way too thin for the blasting AC."

He took time to chat with us and answer our questions, which made me feel more comfortable about the long flight. The stewards/stewardesses were very nice and had us laughing on their welcome messages. The lay-flat seats in first class were the best. Very comfortable, and easy to fall asleep in, without disruption from other passengers who insist on keeping their reading lights on while everyone is trying to sleep."

The business seats were modern and comfortable. I felt the meals were rushed; didn't finish the salad before they brought dinner; and didn't get offered a glass of wine during dinner, and asked about desert before finishing dinner. Meal was not a relaxing experience. The entertainment on monitor locked up several times while watching a movie; my wife had same experience watching a t.v. show.
I did not like it at all. I had to use the restroom and I was in Rio eight I walked to the front bathroom and the students was extremely rude and yelled at me to go back to the other bathroom in the back of the plane. It was a long walk and someone tripped me and then I had to wait 10 minutes and I felt really sick. I really had to go to the bathroom and I couldn’t wait. She was awful I’ve never had a stewardess that route in my life and I fly often. In addition since COVID-19 they have used a chemical for the cleaning that my husband is extremely allergic to. Every time we fly American and we do so very often he starts sneezing.
I liked watching TV on the AA app. I didn’t like that the flight attendant assumed MY bag was the one that overcrowded the overhead bin and took it up front. I understand a crying baby but when it’s excessive, maybe the flight attendant can offer some assistance to the family to calm the baby down or help them in general and remind the family that there are other passengers on board

The walk and ride took us to a new terminal where we walked and walked and I am 78 and hard to keep up. Then we were off and a nice flight and we made up a bit of time. Upon arrival in Aspen and there was not gate for us so we had to wait 25 minutes to deplane, The staff and pilots were terrific and tried to make the best of it. At least we got there. They were not keeping folks distanced from each other, they did not make sure that all the passengers had masks (I understand that people might take them off in flight briefly to drink etc but there were people that walked right on without masks on at all) The flight was FULL. They did a full drink/snack down the aisle thing ensuring that everyone packed into that small space would all be taking off their masks at the same time (if they still had it on in the first place). I did not feel safe at all."

Pros: "The trip started off poorly with a day delay and rebooking hotel and car at final destination. Not to mention our final destination is San Antonio not Phoenix. We were not rebooked for a flight from PHX to SAT. But after a few hours we were finally booked. We didn’t really appreciate the 7 hour layover at 0100 in the morning and nowhere to get a meal or even coffee. However, the flight had the same crew from the night prior and they were excellent. The flight was open so we were able to get more leg room, less waiting time for the bathroom, and pretty much one on one service from our flight attendants. With all the struggle in the beginning, this particular flight was actually the best flight I have been on."
Cons: "We were ok with the hotel and meal vouchers however, again, the only part of our itinerary looked at was the first flight, not the second into SAT. Had we not questioned the agent, we would have been stuck in PHX with no room, no car, and if we eventually would have gotten a flight, our reservations for car and hotel in SAT would have been cancelled and I would have been out $1700. I already lost money but it could have been worse. Basically, I am paying for a car and room that I am not currently in. Reimbursement for that would have been nice. Either way we will still travel using the travel service and this particular airline in the future."

In fact, there appeared to be more non-functioning machines .than working ones which created a huge backlog of passengers. We then had to wait in another long line to have our bagged checked and boarded. This was one of the worse situations I've seen in a very long time."

Then the flight from Washington to Chattanooga was delayed over 2 hours. Which i understand safety comes first but it made for a very long two day trip back from Hawaii."

The bag is also very dirty. When I brought it to the counter I was told "Minor tears and wheels are not covered" and that I could "...make a homeowner's insurance claim." Not even an apology."

Cons: "The passenger in the seat next to mine rented a tablet from United and proceeded to spend the entire night playing games or watching movies -- he never turned it off the entire flight. The glare from the tablet made it impossible for me to sleep or even nap on the flight. I asked the fellow if he would mind dimming the screen but he told me that wasn't possible. If United could put dimmable screens on the tablets it would help create an environment conducive to sleep, which is what most passengers want on a redeye flight. Alternatively, privacy screens would cut down on the shared glare. As it was, the flight was a nightmare."

Finally, the gate dock was not able to connect with the plane upon arrival yeilding a 30 minute delay at the gate. Unapologetic crew simply ready to turn onto the next flight. This is why I don't fly united."

When we got to the boarding gate and we were ready to have our ticket scanned we were told, "unfortunately, you two won't be able to be seated together, we had a seat change that affected your seating." then we were asked to go to the counter at the gate to see what could be done, but there was nothing that could be done, the flight was full. So our money was collected but due to the mess up on seating and loss of our $600.00 epi pen medication we didn't take the flight."

Pros: "The lady at the gate did everything she could to get my wife and I seats next to each other. Very kind and polite woman at HNL."
Cons: "The seats are very uncomfortable and no leg space at all. Paid the price of a meal at a restaurant for a box of snacks on the plane. Food grossly overpriced."
Cons: "A 5+ hour flight and one bag of snack mix and you had to pay for a movie. Other Airlines are more generous than that. Crew looked beyond disinterested with anybody."

Pros: "Everything else was fine. I was even able to access my luggage in LAX to retrieve my medication, which I accidentally had left in there. Thanks for that."
Cons: "Stewardess was so big and clumsy, that she had to hold on to the overhead bins and wake me up every time she squeezed through aisle and scraped by me. I know you cannot discriminate against big staff, but you have to make the aisle wider if you want your passengers to be comfortable and undisturbed."
