The seats were comfortable, the overhead bins were ample, the staff was helpful, attentive, and friendly. I enjoyed free texting. However, I much prefer Southwest no reserved seats (take any unoccupied seat) and their policy of two checked bags free, and ability to freely change flights. The Alaska airplane was nicer and newer than the Southwest one. Overall, my Alaska Airlines flying experience was a very positive one.

We boarded the flight just fine. After an hour of not moving people started asking what was going on. Finally after 1 hr and 40 minutes of being in this plane which was no longer fresh but hot due to all the bodies and the 114 degrees outside. They decided to open the door back up and asked whom ever wanted to deplane could and we would be boarding 15 minutes after. That did not happen. Was over a 3 hr delay and had to run to work it connecting flight once we landed in Seattle.
The flight was delayed by more than 2 hours which delayed all our plans.
Flying isn’t always fun but my flight was good and that’s saying alot
This is where things were a bit upsetting first the wheelchair assistance person not only was playing games at first leaving us to wonder. When I did get another person to help she took me to the gate the Alaska Airlines person Alex was rude. I didn't have a seat assigned which was not helping my travel anxiety, he honestly didn't seem to care when he step away I came to another agent named John who was very empathetic and kind. He looked in his computer and gave me a seat realizing my situation.
Friendly staff on the ground and in the air. On time performance. Comfortable seats and friendly flight attendants.
Everything was good except the flight out of Pasco was delayed so long we almost missed our connection in Seattle - had to literally run from one gate to the next!
No leg room but flight is smooth flying. Pretzels really?
The pilots were great. Service was good. Wish I had more room in the seating area because I was seated next to the only other large person. He took up a little of my seat as well. Very nice man. Wish the crew could have done a small shuffle to make it better for both of us. Still, it was a good trip both ways. Thank you
I didn’t know that food needed to be ordered ahead. Please include this in the reservation information. Overall, very good experience.
The flight was great. The crew were a little terse about the size of my bag. It fit fine.
Screen didn’t play movies, do I was pretty boated the entire flight.
It was very cold because the air conditioner was on high power, and my son got sick.
Delta crushed it. Flight attendant in first was attentive and just never stopped. Honestly one of the best domestic flights I’ve been on.
Delta is one of the best airlines I have flown
It was a Red-Eye flight so was not comfortable enough to sleep, but seat was as expected. Crew was great and in-flight entertainment was excellent. Flight was smooth
Standard economy seats on Deltas 767 were better than Alaska premium seats on their 737 MAX9; more legroom, wider seats. Entertainment was great, no ipad or phone required. Could have included a meal service.
Plane was turned around due to fog half way into the flight, Delta did not properly direct passengers to stay on same flight and instead failed to properly rebook on Alaska
The boarding process was terrible especially with an indirect flight Chicago to Seattle to San Diego was terrible talking about we overbooked a flight idk if I’d take this airline ever again we got off our flight from Chicago to Seattle and we traveled for business and they told us our connecting flight was over booked and their was no seats asking people to take a delayed next flight and they don’t tell anyone coughing to wear masks seats 30A-B were terrible during the flight no one wants to sit next to people coughing all around I don’t want to be sick traveling for work or get sick anytime it’s very upsetting the staff doesn’t take this stuff serious to tell them to wear masks when they see people coughing and sneezing
Flight was on time, the crew was personable & professional, & the plane arrived early which was nice.
This flight was 2.5 hours delayed due to crew issues. This meant that we arrived after 2 AM. Very very inconvenient and we were not really kept well informed.
The flight was delayed, but other than that everything was fine.
United is today and old, the planes, the staff, the business processes. Yet they expect premium prices for a less than average flight experience. I should have remembered to stay away from them and will remember to stay away from them in the future since I'm traveling a lot again. In a nutshell, they suck eggs.
The entertainment wasn’t playing in the app or online.
Horrible, the flights kept delaying, so it is obvious that we won't be able to make it to the next connection. No easier/real agent on site to help you figure this out. UA agent on other counters refuse to assist you and direct us to use the QR code/call customer service. So inefficient and poor. While technology seems convenient, but it's not the best interest/experience for customers need help while there is active issue need assistance.
Flight was delayed due to the late arrival of the catering truck, which is quite unacceptable. There was a beverage service, but no pretzel, or cookie, or nuts were served in coach.
I had a great flight. Everything went smoothly and the flight arrived early.
On time take off…US cabins look tired and need of refresh!
An hour and a half late is UNACCEPTABLE. The negative impact to our family is unconscionable. And for the price we were forced to pay...
I paid $380 for my one-way ticket from California to Minnesota. The fair did not include online check-in. I received instructions from their app to check in at a kiosk. At the kiosk, the boarding pass would not print until an actual person came to verify that I had a personal item and not a carry-on item, On the plane, the person next to me was drunk and allowed to continue to order alcohol. United is garbage I’d rather fly spirit.
Spirit airlines is very bad airline staff doesnt know how to treat passangers they didnt allow us in the flight we reached 45 minutes ago from flight departure but they denied nd said you are late Very disappointed i never reccomend spirit airlines
They charge you for everything. Even water. They accepted my dog as a service dog in my reservation. Then they asked for a DOT form that was impossible to provide. I had to pay $175 for my service to fly with me, that would protect me from death if I ate peanuts. They did not however, serve peanuts on the plane.
Traveling on Spirit Airlines was awful. It was by far the worst airline we ever traveled on. There is no food service at all unless you paid for it. Even a cuppa coffee or a water was $5 . I’ve never been in a seat so close to the one in front of me. There was literally 10-12 inches from my face to the seat back in front of me. We actually all had to laugh at the size of the tray table. Never see a tray table so small, and I don’t even see the point of it. By booking through Spirit, but after I paid for checked luggage, water, coffee, I would’ve been better off going with our usual airline where everything was included. It actually would’ve been cheaper and way more comfortable. We joked that we were actually surprised they didn’t give us tokens just to use the bathroom. My daughter even knows she would never travel on Spirit again, and she’s not high maintenance at all. Aweful
The nickel and diming everyone was disappointing...I saw an elderly lady charged $80n for a seat because she didn't understand she had to purchase not only a ticket but a seat. I saw a father charged 3 times for carry ons for a stroller and 2 car seats. Very disappointing...I also overheard an employee tell a customer, "you either pay up or don't fly." It was an elderly man who was confused over having to purchase the seat...it is very confusing on what the ticket is for if not for a seat...
Spirit is very bare bones travel. You definitely get what you pay for. About as comfortable as riding a school bus. The tray table is a tiny little shelf that barely fits a phone, and there is not even a seat pocket to hold anything securely. They have an open bungee cord configuration, that phones fall out of. There are no drinks or snacks, unless you purchase them. Same for wifi, although it wasn’t even available for purchase on our outgoing flight. But the crew was friendly, and the plane was clean, although we did not check the onboard restroom. Basically, if you are looking for a very inexpensive flight to a nearby location, and you don’t care if wifi is available, it works. Our flight was around 90 minutes—Oakland to Las Vegas—so it was not horrible. I would never even consider flying cross country in it. That would be miserable. But for a quick trip of under two hours, it was worth the price.
Keep your expectations low and you will be pleasantly surprised
This was one of the smoothest flights in 37 years of flying, excellent pilots! Polite and caring staff. Nice clean and new plane 10/10
It was delayed 7 hours!!!!! We had to spend $550 on new flights so we didn’t miss our evening event for family. It was absolutely ridiculous. Our flight was suppose to leave at 9:30 am. Nobody was there to even help until 12:30. Worst experience ever.
Flight kept being delayed on airport board without any announcement. We were delayed almost 2 hours. Finally boarded and we had no pilots so we sat on a hot plane with screaming kids and no pilots for 40 minutes. Finally he came aboard and did paperwork for 10 minutes before we took off. No apologies or any explanations or even excuses from ANY staff in the entire process. Worst experience ever on the ground and the air I have had.
Delays delays and more delays in both LAX and San Jose. And then I said something else flight was supposed to arrive in Portland at 12:04 but didn't land until 2:30 PM which made me late for my appointment.
After 5 hours of delay, they cancelled the flight. Very disappointed
My flight to LA was cancelled. I waited at the airport for 3 hrs saying it was delayed and then all of a sudden it was cancelled. Frontier only gave me a voucher and refund but could not rebook me. Flights on other airlines were too expensive last minute. I had to drive down to LA and didn’t even take my return flight home since I had to drive. One of the worst airline experiences in my life. It’s crazy how airlines can just upend people’s plans just like that.
Flight was 3 hours late leaving. Poor communication from the staff about delays. Impossible to get in touch with customer service (by design). And it actually didn't come out to be much cheaper than a non-budget airline! Not worth the headache, I'm never flying Frontier again
The flight attendence were extremely rude and I am disabled
They wouldn’t let us on the flight even tho we were an hour early. No refund not even our bags that were prepaid
I did not enjoy the trip home on Frontier for several reasons: there is too much cost besides the flight, which was more than I would normally pay, then having to pay for luggage, and carry-on, seat (if you want to reserve when booking) then you must pay over $3 for a can of soda, and $4 for a snack. A cup of water is free.
I strongly dislike Frontier. I find them barebones, the seats not particularly comfortable, the nickel and diming is maddening, the app is TERRIBLE - super confusing to navigate, and the last 4 frontier flights I have flown have been on AVERAGE 2 hours late, one ruining a fancy night out in Vegas with reservations made well in advance, which was nodded to with a measly 5000 miles, which translates to almost nothing. At least credit a free checked bag or something.
8 hr delay. had to buy another ticket with another airline
I appreciated the upgrade to free cary-on bag and seat selection at no charge
Flight was delay 9hrs and nothing was provided at airport, had to go and get a room to sleep in, paid for Uber back and fort with no offers until we landed back home a 1hr later for a $75 voucher for a future flight.
