I get that those seats were available for purchase, but after the doors close it seems ridiculous to not let a customer sit there, ESPECIALLY is taller folks!!!! One could make the argument that it’s less safe as well, seeing how there’s no one IN the exit row to help open the window in the event of an emergency. I like Jetblue but this policy is likely to keep me from flying them if I can fly for just a bit more $ and have comfort."

The board at the airport and online even said it was an on time flight up until the moment it was originally supposed to depart (not board). So they knew ( because they didn't let us board) but never updated their info. A simple email would have saved me from getting up 5 hours early just wait 5 hours in the airport. Fu ck them for that!"

The bag was checked, not to just Seattle but all the way to Venice. Well, surprise, surprise, the bag was lost on the way to Venice. KLM does not allow enough time in Amsterdam for luggage to make a connecting flight."

Cons: "The fact that the lack of knowledge regarding international travel visas by the counter staff and supervisor meant that two days of the vacation were lost. Upon arrival in China the 144 hour travel visa was granted with no problem within minutes, but the U.S. staff was completely befuddled by the possibility. The interrogation was completely stressful and resulted in a reschedule of the original flight and during the second attempt at flying even an email from the U.S. consulate with a link to the Shanghai/Chinese government immigration site was deemed "not official enough". i will be expecting proper compensation. I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."

Pros: "I trusted Delta to take of my clients; Delta usually did. Rather, the employees of Delta did. Now when I travel, I prefer Delta (when they aren't too much more economically). Let me change that to I used to prefer Delta, because the times, they are achanging. My home airport is Atlanta, I'm usually traveling to Seattle or Portland; Delta is king in those routes. There's more flight time options, and the entertainment available is better."
Cons: "Here's where the picky comes in. I downloaded the 'Go Go" wifi app beforehand. When I tried to connect I received a message that it wasn't available on my routes. Why couldn't they tell me that it might not work on my routes before they took my money? Further, why wasn't it available? It's not like I was going on a multi city/country trip, this was Atlanta to Portland non-stop. Then there's the 'Premier Seating". I opted for it on my outbound flight and received TSA Pre Check. I didn't buy the seating coming back; I did not receive TSA Pre Check. Coincidence? My fare was more than Alaska Airlines was offering it for, I paid for the wifi that didn't work, and in order to avoid the back of the plane, you must pay. So, I guess I'll be going to Alaska Airlines. They don't have as many flights, but I don't feel dinged for more money every time I turn around."

Had to go to a ticket desk at first departure and third departure points to have them printed, with no explanations given. Also not allowed to choose our seats for the third leg. Food was barely edible. Paid extra for roomier seats on one leg, making it more comfortable, but were extremely tight on another leg which had many empty seats scattered throughout the cabin. Cabin attendants seemed more interested in pushing items that generated revenue than providing the ones that came with the ticket (which is never cheap to begin with)."

Cons: "Due to mechanical issues our 8am flight kept getting delayed in 30 minute increments until around 9:45 when the front desk attendants told us the necessary part had to be driven from Seattle and wouldn't be available until noon, and that their was no certainty the part would work, and that we should make other arrangements. So we did, but their earliest we could get us into Chicago was 9:30pm (original arrival was 2pm). We booked the arrangements only to find out that our original flight took off at 10:55 and American didn't even attempt to contact us. The cherry on top was that our flight (which was indirect through SFO) got delayed and we're now going to miss our connection in SFO. So currently looking at 10:30pm arrival in Chicago."

Cons: "I used to fly with American Airlines a lot more and every time the staff somehow finds a way to be rude and ruin my day so I try to avoid this airline. On this particular flight it was the very rude asian flight attendant that really set the mood. The attitude of the staff really makes or breaks the experience and it seems like American Airlines doesnt care about the quality of thier employees"

At best, I would have found out the next day at the airport and waited an extra three hours. Not the big fun! At worst, who knows? Would someone have been able to figure it out in time? Huge run-around!"

I work at Nordstrom so maybe my expectations are a bit high when it comes to customer service, but if I owned united airlines I would be ashamed of the way United employees treat people. I paid an extra 300 than I had to to get to Hartford Connecticut at the time I chose when purchasing the ticket. Every plane was delayed. EVERY FLIGHT by at least an hour. I missed my connections and was rebooked twice. the average joe customer service lines were ridiculous with the separate priority line having first dibs. The first customer service man I met with was helpful and kind. With the exception of that man and one flight attendant on my trip back to Portland, every employee was indifferent, condescending and in some cases, actually mean. I say that seriously! (I can't believe it either). I am not a difficult person to get along with and I never showed upset despite the many mishaps I encountered on this trip. Customer service is so important and could have made up for the obvious poor planning and lack of communication by which united airlines functions. Unfortunately, I would rather fly any other airline if given the choice after this trip. Even spirit (and let me tell you, I've only flown spirit once and there is a good reason for that). So disappointing. I am upset over my experience and again, will avoid this airline at all costs in the future whenever possible."

Pros: "The flight from the Denver leg to Des Moines was great. The crew was exceptionally friendly, especially the stewardess. I really loved taking the smaller plane into Des Moines. It made the boarding and deboarding go very quickly. In the future when traveling to destinations outside of a major hub, I will look for flights with smaller planes. It was an incredibly pleasant flight experience."

Cons: "Food got a poor rating because there was no food service on either flight. You might think about creating another column with N/A (not applicable) as a heading. Entertainment got a mediocre rating simply because I didn't indulge. I might have been tempted more if I could have seen a price somewhere for the entertainment. I was very hesitant to just start swiping without knowing what I was getting myself in to."

Pros: "Although I only got a water, other people were ordering, but the older flight attendant was not at all personable and was very impolite. Being a chef, I would never give poor quality customer service as he did. My flight attendants from DEN to TYS was much more personable and made the flight much more enjoyable."

Cons: "It was cancelled... I waited in line at the airport for over two hours and on hold on the phone for another two to have my flight changed. The new flight was not direct, and got me in to Chicago almost 24 hours late. Both of my rebooked flights were delayed."

Cons: "United Customer Service was terrible on the plane. The gate agent messed up out seat assignments and put 2 of us in the same seat and then a airline attendant on the plane was so rude and condescending to the few of us on the plane about the seat confusion that again was not the passengers fault but United. I am trying to track down her name to file a formal complaint. She made a remark that was disrespectful to people not being able to "read" correctly, she was very rude. Also on our return flight it is not showing our seat assignments. Very poor experience with United. I will go back to Alaska and SW airlines before choosing them again."

Pros: "Found the flight attendants engaged and attentive to passenger needs. I thought they excelled. In my case they provided a box of tissues when they saw that I had a sneezing attack. It was so nice of them to come often to check. On time departure and arrival."
Cons: "Boarding all groups all of a sudden creates chaos outside of the gate and in the gang way a long line. Take it Despacito for the pleasure and enjoyment of all. After, all it does not delay departure times at all."

Pros: "FRUSTRATED AT INABILITY TO GET BOARDING PASS PRIOR HUNG ONTO PHONE 24 MIN 22SECONDS BEFORE HANONG UP. ANOTHER PASSENGER SAID IT TOOK HER 40 MIN ON YHE PHONE. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!"

Pros: "Simple check in and boarding process albeit a poor process for boarding"
Cons: "With no first class or priority seating, it makes no sense to board the plane from front to back. It creates a jam of people just standing around waiting for those in front. The flight itself was fine, seats don't mean back at all, leg room is minimal and they don't fill in emergency row seats unless you pay $50 for them. Other airlines require they are filled before they fly. This particular flight was very, very warm and stuffy. The air that was blowing from above us was warm/hot the entire flight. Most of the passengers were sniffling and/or coughing by the end of the flight just because of the heat. Maybe it's a ploy to make people buy their overpriced beverages..."

Cons: "when you get the cheapest seats EVERYTHING is EXTRA.. like when you check in to get your seat, even all the normal (not extra leg room, not exit row) seats are randomly extra. Then they don't let you even have a CARRY ON for free. it's $45. Also, they don't give you even a glass of water. Had to pay $3 for juice for my son. you end up paying more then if you got a seat on another airline. Oh, & on top of that they aren't even friendly."

Cons: "This was supposed to be a round trip, coast to coast, involving two flights each way. The first 2 flights were delayed, the 3rd was cancelled after several hours of delay, there were inordinate numbers of gate changes--5 for one flight, 3 for another. I was supposed to go on a 4th flight, but at that point, I walked over to American Airlines and bought a ticket home on the spot: No delays, no gate changes, no excuses, no weirdness."

Cons: "I will never choose to fly Frontier again. This was my first and last time. There is a fee for everything which makes the cost of flying with them significantly higher than quoted. I couldn't believe that you have to use a credit card to get a bottle of water or a small snack. If you don't check their website you can pay double to check in bags when you arrive. Not at all consumer friendly."

Pros: "The ticket was cheap. My flight from Atlanta was as good as anything I could expect. It was very smooth, no waiting, and I was upgraded at the gate to an exit row. To Atlanta, wasn't as nice. But still an affordable ticket."
Cons: "On my way home to Atlanta, they left my Prechk off my tickets and I got relegated to a center seat (which is very hard for me because I'm claustrophobic). I understand that Frontier is cutting costs as much as possible to provide cheap tickets, of that I am truly grateful, but the fact that they won't even provide you water free seems a bit much. There are probably a lot of people who don't know this and dehydration is vicious on a flight so crammed in. Also, I can understand no entertainment whatsoever on a hop flight (less than 2 hours), but nothing at all on a 4 hour flight also seems hard to understand. Heck, even a magazine would have been nice, but where would they put it?"

Pros: "Frontier has introduced a new concept in ergonomic torture - the 2-inch clamshell passenger seat, made of hardshell plastic. At least on our first flight we got the grudging 3-ounce diet coke watered down with ice. On this flight though, they didn't serve anything, not even water. Of course you pay for luggage. And Frontier charges you even MORE for a carry-on. I plan to avoid Frontier at every possible future opportunity."

I guess boarding early is better than being late, but it was just a little strange because they made several announcements way before the official boarding time."
