After an hour, we found ours and made our way towards what used to be rental car check in. Found there was now a shuttle bus system to get to rental counters, but waited in line outside with our three bags for 30+ minutes just to get on the shuttle. After a 15-minute ride, we finally arrived at the old rental check in/garage area. Bottom line, it took over two hours from arrival to finally being able to leave the airport."

I called about this and the rep gave me a song and self congratulatory dance about how they were meeting my needs! We booked the flight a month in advance and they changed it 2 days before. Guess where my seat was on the new flight? Yep, all the way in the back away from my team."

Courteously rebooked by the airlines for the following day was unacceptable. We were able to make a connecting flight to a different town and had to rent a car to drive 2 hrs to our original destination. First time flying with Alaska Airlines was not a great experience."

I was also not told which Terminal the plane would go to in LAX and which terminal the connecting flight would be leaving from. They were not sure! Consequently I floundered around at LAX wasting time and bothering people for information that should have been known to me. The security checks are over the top and inconsistent in the US."

Cons: "Upon deplaning in Cancun, ALL passengers are put on a bus and driven far away from the terminals to an arrivals area. Those of us with connecting flights are royally f*cked at that point, especially if your connection is short, as mine was. The so-called shuttle to the departure terminals, which are entire kilometers away, was to arrive in like half an hour. HALF AN HOUR. Who has this time to spare?? The alternative to the shuttle is paying a taxi that charges a hefty fare--and God help you if you don't have cash. The departures terminal was swamped and only thru begging assistance and line cuts did I make my connection...and then only by the skin of my teeth. It was a complete nightmare."

In today's age of technology the idea that they are still overbooking planes makes no sense to me in the slightest. I will be walking, driving or taking a boat before I fly American Airlines again."

A Delta/united employee at the Eugene Airport (Collette) quickly and kindly moved some things around and got me a flight out only an hour later, upgraded me to comfort select seating, and some how managed to get me to my final destination (2 flights ) only an hour after I originally booked for. She did all this with a smile on her face while a worried guest (me) wasn't sure what he was going to do if it weren't for her impeccable service. Thanks Collete and United!"

Cons: "I showed up an hour before my flight with no luggage to check or carry on. The line to TSA was almost nonexistent and the gate was close. The auto check in told me to go to frontiers desk to check in. No one was at any of the frontier check in counters event though every other airline had at least one person at theirs. There was a sign that said I was too late to redeem my ticket due to a 45 minute rule that wasn't mentioned anywhere in my flight itinerary or multiple emails from kayak and frontier. No one at the airport could help me without a frontier representative, they didn't answer my call to their 800 number and I missed my best friend's fathers funeral."

Cons: "The plane departed 45 minutes behind schedule. When we arrived, 20 people or so did not receive their luggage. Frontier representatives were nowhere to be found. Finally someone came and herded us upstairs, gave us no information about our luggage, and had us form a line to file a claim. Frontier staff was utterly unapologetic and had no sense of urgency. I still don't know where my bag is. The plane was supposed to land at 12:45, and I left the airport at 3:30 and missed an important work meeting."

Our seats were 'upgraded' for a red eye flight, behind one screaming baby for 75% of the flight, and another next to us that constantly was kicking us. The male air flight attendant enjoyed to hear himself talk so much, that between him and the amplified screaming baby, sleep was not possible. I asked for water, but since that was the only free thing, they were out of it and the male flight attendant sound get me some of their was time before we landed....that was 25 minutes into a 3 and a half hour flight. In his defense, I did get my water just before the plane started its descent. And the last point, girlfriend's brand new suitcase was covered in him when we picked it from baggage claim. Instead of just refunding us the baggage fee, no, we now have a claim open for Up to $50 to get it cleaned. Spend the extra $100 for ease of mind and fly a real airline."
