Close connecting flight proved to close as the airlines called ahead to hold 3 separate flights into Montana, however our connecting flight left 8 minutes early! Courteously rebooked by the airlines for the following day was unacceptable. We were able to make a connecting flight to a different town and had to rent a car to drive 2 hrs to our original destination. First time flying with Alaska Airlines was not a great experience."

Pros: "It's a non-stop flight to Cabo San Lucas (SJD or MMSD to be more accurate) from KSJC. Little in terms of weather disturbances but be prepared to be created by the heat if you're landing during the summer!"

The plane was pretty full, so being a slightly larger woman I felt a little claustrophobic, but it was a short flight so not bad at all. The coffee was not the best but the little cookies are always delicious, and as the flight was not even an hour there was no need for in flight entertainment, so I read on my tablet ad listened to music for the entirety of the flight."

Mostly this was an inconvenience, and all turned out well. Just annoying when the problem seemed so minor. The time frame was too long for most passengers to make connections."

There was no mention of this during the purchase process, and we didn't find out about the layover in San Diego until were were ALREADY AT OUR TERMINAL GATE. This is very deceiving and absolutely unacceptable."

Our two kids flew with us, and one of whom is a 12 year old girl. Even she couldn't be accommodated to sit with one of us. The staff on the phone and at the airport were of no help because the flight was full. In all other international flights I have taken over the past 30 years, the airline company always does group seat assignments appropriately so we are all seated together. Disappointed. Won't be recommending the airline to anyone. Sorry."

I had to ask for the persons name I should be waiting for and if she would be wearing a AM suit. I asked if there was a desk where she would be, and with an attitude the Rep, said "I already told, you just go wait by McDonald's". After waiting for an hour and asking every woman that walked by if they were Stephanie, I finally found her. She was walking by, clearly not looking for me. I had to follow her and stop her. If not she would have walked right by. Once we spoke, she was very helpful."

Cons: "This airline seemed to be unprepared at every step of the way. When I showed up to the airport to check my baggage (this was 2 hours before my flight) there was a huge line of people already there. I went to the back of the line and after 15 minutes of not moving I texted my family that I might be missing my flight. As I got closer to the front a nervous and overwhelmed Aeromexico employee went to the back of the line and handed the last person a paper and told her she would be the last person allowed on the flight. Anyone lined up after her was turned away because they had showed up too late. It seemed to me that those people would have made it onto the flight if the airline had been prepared and ready to check everyone in on time. When I was finally able to check my bag there were only 20 minutes left until my flight was supposed to depart. I rushed to the security checkpoint and ran to my gate in fear of missing my flight, only to find another large line of people. They hadn't even started boarding! After waiting 10 minutes in line (10 minutes before the plane was supposed to depart), the crew slowly strolled to the gate. They didn't even seem to care. Overall, my experience was below average, but seeing how people were not allowed to board due to the airline not being prepared for this flight, I would say I won't be flying Aeromexico again."

Then I am told that all my carry on things have to be 10k or less COMBINED. Not something I have ever experienced. Was told mixed things about this "new rule" and then paid $25 to have my carry on checked."

The airline paid for our hotel and food, but the issue is that we came to visit family and we have a very limited timeframe. We ended up having to book a new connecting flight which cost us $250. Ive always booked with kayak and now I fear I will never again. I would like a refund for the $250 or a flight stipend. They claim that the cabinet in the plan is full while actually there is plenty of spaces for multiple luggages to be there. The crew was rude and refuse to explain it in an acceptable way. When I asked why cant I carry it when there is enough space, she simply says because you just can't. Do you want to take the plan or not! This is unacceptable."

Cons: "On trip to medford my lugguage got left in san fransisco and was never delivered to me so i went back to airport and it was just sitting there, no one there to give it to me so i had to look for someone to open room so i could get it. Then From medford to san fransisco There was no explanation cancellation, no one at counter for hours to figure out something else, no apology for inconvience, no vouchers for hotel or food since i had to stay at one since flight left so early in am. I had less then 10 mins to get from medford plane to denver plane. Thats running and up 2 flights of stairs and getting to door in nick of time. I missed a day of work and basically unless an emergency i wont fly united again."

Cons: "I'm usually a patient person, but my flight was supposed to leave at 525am and didn't leave until 730. This was the first flight in the morning. We boarded, waiting 30 minutes on the plane, they told us to get off because there were computer issues. Why wasn't that checked before everybody was boarded? Once we got on the plane we had to wait another 30 minutes for the crew to get someone's luggage from under the plane. Why wasn't that done while the computer was getting fixed? I didn't get to Denver until 1040am missed my flight and didn't get to get on my connection until 500pm. In the meantime I called to get on a different flight at 1, but the guy on the phone didn't actually book me a seat. The gate people weren't very nice."

I struggled with my check in (I had just had a spine procedure done 48 hrs prior).... and by the time I got help from an agent it was 7:03 am, so... They wouldn't give me a boarding pass for my 8 am flight. Add to that an extremely rude ticket agent who couldn't care less about helping me, and almost seemed to enjoy my predicament, and that sums up my experience with this airline. I will never fly with them again, that's for sure; there's so many other airlines that actually care about their customers, this is not one of them."

Cons: "On my transfer from Dulles to San Diego The Stewardess keep repeating how cranky and hungry she was...there were people sleeping when she was serving that she didn't awake when she passed their aisle...so after service was completed and she was walking back thru to the front of the plane and those patrons stopped her...she proceeded to get loud with them and ask why didn't they get it when she was there before...like I felt her whole demeanor during that time was very unprofessional..."
