Out of tissue , paper towels , and tissue one hour into the flight . What in the Hell is going on with this airline ? Won’t fly with them again ."

She said to borrow from a neighbor which I thought was rude. We don’t know our neighbors. If a flight requires filling out a form, they should provide enough pens to do so."

Frustrating not to have a seat assignment until boarding had already begin (would have gone SWA if we wanted that mess)."

If I wasn't so focused on sleeping as much as I could I would have written her name down. No complimentary cocktails for Preferred Seating? Seriously? What did I upgrade for exactly? Literally four inches of space? Late, rude, money sucking industry who holds no accountability for wrong doings. Don't get into the Health Industry.. you'll kill people with this flippant attitude. Bleh.. I doubt I'll fly with Delta again. The thought of having to do so turns my stomach."

But, when we landed, as passengers were trying to get off of the plane, the attendants were putting all of the collected luggage at the entry to the jetway. It created congestion. Then, anyone who had luggage, had to lineup against the side of the jetway, awaiting their luggage, and increasing the congestion. First, it was inconvenient. Worse, if there was any kind of emergency, I believe it would have created a unsafe environment. Very Poor Design & Process ! ! !"

Also I didnt like that i had to stand and wait for 3 hours in the line because my flight was canceled but no one could let us know if there gonna be any flights within the day. I slept in the airport because i couldnt find a hotel to spend the night close to the airport. They were all full and i had no time to find one since I was waiting there for 3 hours with no informational. I slept on the floor and delta didnt even offer us a blanket. That was my worst trip ever."

I missed my connecting flight from LAX to JFK due to additional security screening. As such I was advised to head to the Delta terminal to be booked onto the next available flight to NYC. After waiting over an hour in line to be seen by a staff member, I was told that they couldn't change my ticket as it was a Virgin flight. The same staff member didn't seem to even understand the concept of 'co-share', and also told me that because I booked through Kayak and not Delta that they could not help me. This makes me think that booking through a third party is a risky move. I was told there was absolutely nothing she could do, and that I would have go to a Virgin Australia Counter. This involved taking all of my luggage from Terminal 5 - all the way to Terminal 3. I was assisted by Virgin Australia, where they apologized for my experience, and confirmed that it was Delta's responsibility (and that they were capable) of rebooking my flight. Virgin booked me onto a later flight, but I still had to walk back to Terminal 5 (Delta) to give them my checked luggage. I was once again told that I didn't have the right ticket (details listed Virgin and Delta flight number - so this was way too confusing for them). Finally they printed my a boarding card and took my bags. I then ran through security and to gate in time for my flight. Flight was fully booked, due to a many people no doubt experiencing the same thing. Food was awful. Was a big step down from the Virgin flight in every aspect. There was not a single Delta Staff member who would even try to understand or be helpful. I will never fly with Delta again."

They sat there and watched me for an hour not telling me I could not use cash to check in my luggage at the gate after they told me it was double the amount to check it in at the gate. The sight u use on the boarding pass u download on the phone is not clear. It says baggage fee +$25.00. I thought it was 25.00 till the women in Phoenix showed me the + sign. She said “it is confusing”. I did not buy the ticket because it was for an unexpected funeral of my sister. My other sister did so I didn’t see all the stuff from Travelocity. After telling me it would be $50.00 the check in male and female at the gate saw me sitting there for an hour and never told me I couldn’t pay cash. By the time it was boarding time if a nice woman did not offer to use her credit card and I have her the $50 cash I would have missed my flight. The manager at the gate in Portland even told me I would miss my flight. The two check in staff at the gate said “well we didn’t know you only had cash” and they weren’t even concerned that I was going to miss my flight. It would of been nice of them to tell me this when I sat there for an hour after they told me They we’re doubling the price. I would of had time to go back through security, only pay $25.00 and the other nice passenger would have not had to use her credit card. Very rude and poor service especially after a sad occasion of burying your sister!"

Had to go to a ticket desk at first departure and third departure points to have them printed, with no explanations given. Also not allowed to choose our seats for the third leg. Food was barely edible. Paid extra for roomier seats on one leg, making it more comfortable, but were extremely tight on another leg which had many empty seats scattered throughout the cabin. Cabin attendants seemed more interested in pushing items that generated revenue than providing the ones that came with the ticket (which is never cheap to begin with)."

Cons: "Due to mechanical issues our 8am flight kept getting delayed in 30 minute increments until around 9:45 when the front desk attendants told us the necessary part had to be driven from Seattle and wouldn't be available until noon, and that their was no certainty the part would work, and that we should make other arrangements. So we did, but their earliest we could get us into Chicago was 9:30pm (original arrival was 2pm). We booked the arrangements only to find out that our original flight took off at 10:55 and American didn't even attempt to contact us. The cherry on top was that our flight (which was indirect through SFO) got delayed and we're now going to miss our connection in SFO. So currently looking at 10:30pm arrival in Chicago."

In addition, boarding were completed and all passengers were sitting in the aircraft for over an hour before it started the taxis to the run way....why board passengers so early? At least turn on the A/C and let the cabin cool down before boarding passengers."

(They need training and there should be someone there to help non Spanish speakers) Never told us the gate. We had to keep finding passengers to tell us where to go. Gate kept changing. Written gate on overhead screens different than where we were supposed to go and then changed twice. Flight late but all the info at the gate said in time."
Cons: "I booked the flight, received confirmation e-mail and receipt for payment. Then get an e-mail at 1:45 am the day of my flight which was scheduled for 7 am that the pricing value was incorrect and my booking was canceled. I flew from New York to California where I was going to get a connecting flight the next day but my connecting flight purchase was terminated. I have never experienced this and I was left stranded and unable to get to my destination. I had transportation waiting for me and I had to find out the morning of my flight. All I got was an e-mail stating they tried to reach me but that was a LIE because I did not receive any phone calls. The flight I booked was booked right away so no time elapsed for the price to go up. When I called to complain to the company they were unable to help me and no supervisor or manager was available. I was told to call back in 3 hours for someone to assist me but that I was not going to be able to get on my flight because now, the morning of my flight the price was $200 more then what was advertised when booking. This is unacceptable and unprofessional."

The crew came off somewhat rude and annoyed when asked questions. flight left 30 minutes after scheduled departure. Food and drinks were both charged when I can pay a little more on another airline and get it for free. Lines for bag drop off are ridiculously long and not organized. Charging service fee for help to get a boarding pass is uncalled for, since many older people are traveling."
