I really enjoyed my trip on Frontier airlines. It was efficient, the planes were clean and the staff friendly. I gave lower marks on food and entertainment because there was no entertainment aside from the magazines I brought and the food was a pay as you go affair, which I didn't use.
The only thing I didn't care for was being charged $40 for a carry on bag. On the return flight. I didn't have checked bags.
Boarding was easy. clean plane, crew was very friendly. I was very concerned though, when we banked left and did a complete circle in the air. An explanation from the captain would have been terrific. I made sure I was the last one to leave the plane and asked him about it when I saw him at the exit. He told me what happened but I would have liked to know while it was happening. Besides that, the coke and pretzels were divine. :)
It wasn't the flight from Orlando To Cincinnati that I was upset about. I was suppose to catch a flight out of Columbus straight through to Orlando Only to find out they overbooked the flight. I had to drive another 3 hours to Cincinnati Airport to catch a flight 8 hours after original flight. I will not be booking with Frontier!
First time flying frontier, staff was very nice, I checked my bag and paid the standard fee like every other airline. The seats do not recline and are ultra thin, I think this made it more comfortable on the shorter 2 hour flight as it seemed to provide more knee room. I think customer experience could be brought up very easily with better online/app and mobile boarding pass. The plane didn't seem old and seemed inline or slightly above for its price point. I'm ok with no real food or entertainment especially with 4drink being free, but in flight wifi should standard even on a discount flight.
My connecting flight was way late, but the plane was held for me and a few others in Denver. Because it was the last flight of the evening I don't know what I would have done if left at the airport indefinitely. I am grateful the plane was held. And regret any inconvenience this may have caused others.
We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.
Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.
If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us, please send us an
and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
The fares displayed in KAYAK ads found on other sites include all taxes and fees for economy class travel and were found
by KAYAK users in the last 72 hours. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights and days.
Fares are subject to change and may not be available on all flights or dates of travel. Some carriers charge
additional fees for extra checked bags. Please check the carriers' sites.
Hacker Fares sell tickets to/from a destination via different airlines and are subject to the booking
requirements and terms of each. Any changes made to one of your tickets will not necessarily afford
rights to change the other ticket. Fares change frequently and are subject to availability.
