When we boarded the plane, there were about 8 stewards in training on the flight. If the airline had oversold seats on this flight, why were those training not held back for the next flight instead of making their customers wait?"

The boarding area was messy and the boarding process was rushed and disorganized (Frontier's was...normal). And the Spirit crew was surly and unhelpful (again, the Frontier crew was...normal). My reasonably priced $200 plane ticket became a $340 plane ticket once I realized there are no options but to either pay for my luggage or vacation naked. Also I was charged one price on my departing flight and a different price on my return flight for my luggage. When I asked why I was told the prices changed that very week. How convenient for your airline and nobody else."

Had to then go through the check in line ( even though we already had our boarding passes) to have the seat problem resolved. Only to be told that we never purchased seats. I had the documentation of the purchase and was still told we did not purchase seats. Not pleased."
Cons: "Flight was significantly delayed. Advertised as low cost, which it was, but that is because they make you pay for everything except water. Seats do not recline either...bad for red-eye."
Cons: "We are on delta because we got to frontier line 1 hour and 15 min before flight. Lady proceeds to tell us are gate is closed and we can't get on plane and then ignored us with no answers or help. Proceeded to ask other employees and they were all clueless. The worst service my wife and I have ever seen or had. $616 later we are on are way home .with delta. Ruined are whole vacay and I would pay extra to go with delta."

Cons: "The boarding process seemed unorganized and hectic. People not in the proper zone were able to board. Some of the crew did not take their profession seriously and I seemed to have annoyed them by asking for some sort of service. I did not like how they try to shove the frontier airlines credit card down your throat. The food was boring, expensive, and, oh yeah, I had to buy it. There was absolutely no entertainment which made flying the worst."
Pros: "Easy to get on and off plane since fewer people brought carry-on luggage. The staff was also extremely friendly. The plan was clean and comfortable."

Pros: "Plane was newer, very clean. Seats were comfortable and the flight crew was amazing. Pilots were friendly and kept us in the loop on flight time, turbulence, etc. Flight crew was amazing and very friendly."

Pros: "The inexpensive price is the main attraction, even after figuring out what the total price would be. The plane interior seemed new. The crew was pleasant."
Cons: "Navigating the website was a little confusing. The choices to be made could have been presented in a more logical order and the less expensive alternatives less hidden ( ie. not choosing a seat). The app was useless and logging into it was frustrating (being case specific should be noted on login). Itemizing every item to be paid for separately seems to be a little gimmicky to advertise a crazy low price. It leads to some resentment when you are then charged in potentially three different ways to pay for your bags on each segment of your trip. The overall price of the trip is still quite good, but it just leaves a bad taste in your mouth after feeling like you were just nickle and dimed."
