She walked away without looking at. On her way down the hall says it will be open in an hour. An hour later I go to the gate. A woman is there and finishing up with another customer. When it was my turn, she said she was closed, yet she helped the joy behind me for over an hour. I know this because I got In the generic questions line and stood there for an hour watching the woman who was "closed" help this guy. When I was FINALLY able to talk to someone, the only thing he told me was to walk fast. That was well worth the 2 hour wait. I will never fly with American again."

Cons: "The AA employee at the counter in Batoj Rouge informed me that I would miss my connection at Charlotte Airport due to a delayed in the incoming flight. Hebgave me the option to flight the next day or flight the same day, and after a 2 hour delay flight to Charlotte where I would be provided a hotel room and a meal for the night. I asked several times if that information was confirmed and he repeatedly said yes. At my arrival at Charlotte Airport (near midnight) every AA employee said that they did NOT have any more hotels. It was obvious that everything was a staged lie since over 100 people had to spend the night in one of the the terminals where we were provided a pillow and a blanket. I am terribly disappointed for the lack of transparency in AA. I was told my some friends that they also have had experiences like that at the same Charlotte Airport. You have damage once again your reputation and from no own in will expect THE WORST from AA."
Cons: "I didn't like the fact that if you're cold on the flight unless you're flying first class, you're subject to freeze the entire ride to your next destination. I was told " we only have blankets for 1st class boarding only". So my economy class is not expensive enough to be comfortable and warm on our trips as we'll. I think its very ridiculous, and immature that because I fly a different class of flight im subject to be very uncomfortable the rest of my flight. Someone should do something about this prejudice rule against flyers."
Cons: "The lack of communication, I received an email about my flight changing at 9am but I did not see it because I was at the airport. No one at the gate said anything to us until we started going to the counter. I was switched to a standby flight which the employee thought it was more important to get an employees husband on and offered me a seat for $1,300 in first class if I wanted to get on "that bad" or another flight 3 1/2 hours later that would not qualify me for a lunch ticket. That 1:40 flight was delayed and we stayed sitting in the plane waiting for permission to leave at 2:56pm. I was to be in NY at 3pm to meet my family on other flights but I got there at 6:30pm while they waited for hours!!! Communication is very important, I know that incidents happen, but this was ridiculous! The flight attendants even ran out of free pretzel snacks and offered items for purchase. Will not forget this experience for a while."
Cons: "Hi - My flight from Orlando to Charlotte was delayed due to mechanical issues. This caused me to miss my connecting flight from Charlotte to Seattle. I was supposed to get home to Seattle by 5:45pm but I actually made it home at 12 midnight. There was no flight entertainment for a cross country flight! The only option was to stream via my personally device. This would have been fine if there were outlets to charge personal devices at each set! The crew at the ticketing counter was VERY rude. The lady who finally helped me was nice. that was after standing in several lines!"

I'm giving an overall OK (instead of good) due to the fact that there were no snacks (although I did not want anything, it didn't go unnoticed) and although there was free inflight entertainment for personal devices, I feel the passengers should have been given free internet access - in my opinion, it would have been the appropriate thing to do. In any case, this experience doesn't change my positive opinion of United."

Cons: "All passangers had to de-plane due to technical problems with the aircraft. The captain kept us abreast , but updates were sparse. When we de-planed, NO ONE at United's ticket counters offered any information or directions on what we were supposed to do. We were like sheep; just following the crowd, hoping that other passengers knew what they were doing and where they were going! I specifically asked a "customer service" rep to make an announcement so that we would know what was going on...her reply? "didn't they make one before you got off?" Service was horrible!!! When we landed in DC, we missed our connecting flight and again, United representatives were non responsive and very uncaring about the passengers they are suppose to serve. My party and I (along with other passengers) kept being routed to different gates and told to get information from that gate. After the 3rd reroute, I demanded that we all get better treatment and better communication and information about how to connect for our final destination. That response was met with "I can keep you here until tomorrow morning if you don't like it!" This was from a United Supervisor. My party and I were then routed to San Francisco...our destination was Seattle. When we arrived in S.F. I complained about the service received thus far and was given a $14.00 voucher for my "troubles and inconvenience." We were finally routed to and boarded a plane for our final destination of Seattle, arriving after 1:00 AM in the morning, when we were originally scheduled to arrive at 8pm, the evening prior. I understand that technical problems often times occur, but the crew and United's customer service reps could have done a better job of showing compassion and appreciation for our journey's disruption, inconvenience and missed connections. It was the poor attitudes of these individuals in the CUSTOMER SERVICE industry that really surprised and disappointed me. Their attitudes seemed to be pervasive throughout the company and not the attitudes of a select few employees. The flying experience is not what it use to be. I am on travel again in the next two weeks and actively and deliberately looked for flights on ANY airline OTHER than United. Never again will I fly this airline. The counter staff was very incompent and none of them seemed to know what was going on. They gave us a $10 lunch voucher and $15 dinner voucher which did nothing for the huge inconvenience it caused me. I had to change my rental car reservation to another company and cancel dinner reservations. I will never fly Frontier again!!!!"

Cons: "Frontier managed to oversell both my flight out and all connecting flights to Orlando. After buying tickets several months in advance, I arrived at the airport to find both myself and several other passengers were unable to board because Frontier has sold more tickets than seats, likely counting on some passengers to not arrive. As a result, I could either by a new ticket at 8x the price I paid Frontier, or pay for a taxi and then drive 9 hours to Florida and 9 hours back. I ended up driving, and after several hours on the phone with Frontier managed to get a refund- solely for the original price of the tickets. They refused to offer any additional compensation. The moral of the story is that I paid a few hundred dollars to Frontier so that they could wildly disrupt my travel plans, cost me about 12 hours of my time, add in some surprise expenses, and reluctantly give me back my money and call us even. Next time I'll pay more for a ticket that has a solid chance of actually being worth something. Never again, Frontier."

I couldn't find other airlines with a straight flight. I also loved how helpful the ticketing personel and boarding employee helped me out and answered some of my concerns. They were super polite and quick to help. They also had a very relaxed/laid back attitude I liked."
Cons: "I understand it's a budget airlines, but I didn't like the fact that you aren't allowed a carry-on item unless you purchase one. Most other airlines would allow one free carry-on and one free personal item. Due to this, I didn't get to pack as much as I needed for my trip. And also, it was not informed that guest had to pay for a carry-on. I was lucky enough to call the hq a day before my flight. It just so happened to be one of my concerning questions. The flight attendants were overall okay, but there were some instances that I felt they were incompetent but also not as thorough. I had trash to throw away and they passed me 3 times before I was able to throw it away. Plus I turned on my assistance light so they would come pick it up, but it took them a good 15/20 minutes to finally check in me and by that time my trash was already picked up. The seats and trays aren't as comfortable as I hoped. And I get it's a budget airlines, but that's also the reason why my flight was less comfortable or entertaining."

Cons: "It was a tough day due to weather delays and cancellations, but the airport crew was overwhelmed and failed to control the massive crowd. At one point, service members started calling out destinations and it became a free for all. Passengers jumped over each other and across the ropes to cut in front. Elderly and children were pushed aside. At the gate, it was announced "in 15 minutes, we will ask passengers needing help to board", followed immediately by another crew member "we are already boarding all passengers!", then right back to the first crew "we are not boarding yet, we will start boarding in 15 minutes". Confusion! Departure was listed on time, but we really left 40 minutes late."
Pros: "I specifically loved all of the crew members on my flights to Orlando and back home. They gave me a few good laughs with their jokes and funny expressions. Another great factor of using Frontier is that they keep you up to schedule with your flight by sending you emails from the morning of until your flight departs to insure you don't miss a gate change or flight delays."
Cons: "The only downfall of using this airline is that the customer is not informed before hand that you have to pay an additional, but small, cost to choose your seat. The customer is also charged for a carry on unlike some other airlines who allow 1 free carry on."

The line agent again told me to go and wait in the line, only to wait and be told we missed our window which was what I was trying to tell the lady earlier. To add fuel to the fire, it seemed three of the people were arguing and then switched to Spanish when it got heated. Lucky, we were able to go out on Delta an hour later without issue and went well. I'll never fly Spirit again for it was a horrible experience and that's from someone who flies's various airlines and 160,000 miles a year! After many years of flying this is my first complaint. However, I would warn others to spend the extra few dollars to go with another airline when traveling."

I offered to use it as credit and get a new flight, paying the difference. This request was declined. The agents on the phone were very rude. Spirit nickel and dimes you, has no available seats, doesn't feed you, and the planes are small. I will never attempt to take this airline again."

These two pieces had not arrived in the baggage claim area as well. Therefore, we contacted the airline representative in the lost baggage office. We spent close next two hours trying to locate the missing pieces to no success. We were provided a substitute car seat for her and as we were a minute from our destination in Solon, we received a phone call that those missing pieces were located (we don't know where in the airport) and delivered a couple of hours later. It just speaks to the incompetence of the Spirit airlines staff. I do not think that we shall again fly Spirit in the near future, nor shall we recommend it to other family members or friends."
