Pros: The crew was great and very friendly.

Pros: I felt safe on this flight. Middle seats were empty, plane seemed clean, masks, etc. were in place. I flew Sun Country a few weeks prior to this and flight was overcrowded and COVID precautions were way insufficient.

Cons: The tv did not work. The temperature was hot the whole flight. No airflow.

Pros: It was good organized. Staff were polite friendly and helpful. There was no craziness from the passengers. I loved the flight attendants were normal people. I saw older and plus size attendants. Given this diversity I am more likely to fly delta.
Cons: Flight delayed 30 minutes on tarmac but holiday week so it could have been much worse. Slow deboarding process and air conditioning was not running and with the full flight it wS uncomfortable.

Cons: I sat next to a creepy intoxicated man during my flight and I was not helped out. When I first sat down he was speaking to me and trying to hit on me but I showed that I wasn’t interested. I didn’t even have to sit down to smell the alcohol on him. During the flight he tried to place his head on my shoulder and tried to get close to me. I was too worried to call for an attendant because he was intoxicated but when the attendants would come and offer us food I tried to make it clearly visible that I was anxious and uncomfortable and NOTHING. To make it worse they continued to serve him alcohol!!

Cons: We had an infant and in order to get a meal for the baby one of our paid seats did not get a meal. Very unsatisfactory for first class. The toddler meal provided was terrible. Stale bread, cheese on the sandwich was so bad the baby wouldn't eat it, and he eats almost everything. It was the first food I have seen him refuse to eat.

Cons: My flight was cancelled and I had anxiety about being at my destinations on time because I had to travel another hour away without knowing if my ride would be able to wait for me. However, I was booked on another plane that wasn't damaged which got me there on time,but once I arrived my luggage was no where to be found. I was promised my luggage on the same day,but I didn't get it until 11:30pm that night from a 2:40pm flight. I had to go out and spend money on toiletries,night wear and my medicine because of not having my luggage. Just totally disgusted by the overall experience and wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Cons: Multiple delays, from 8:15 to 8:49 to 9:05 to 9:39 to 10:12 to 10:19 to 10:25. I am not joking. Honestly, if the delay is due to 'maintenance' for an incoming plane that has not left its originating destination, why quote any time at all? The check in rep did provide an announcement at 8:15 that although the time of departure had moved to 9:05 , he did not see how that was possible since our plane was on the ground in Richmond undergoing maintenance. I was in LGA. When I heard that, I changed to another flight, so the outcome was not as bad as it could have been. I am aware of these other times since my email is packed with Delta's notifications, which I welcome usually.

Pros: Delta sent a text which notified that our flight was to be delayed and we were free to seek an alternative flight. Delta was able to get us on an earlier Flight land then delivered our luggage the next morning. Delta sent an e-mail with the driver's picture, name and picture of the vehicle. The driver called to notify he was on the way. Excellent service.

Cons: The connection in Miami didn’t happen - the flights crew on the ORLANDO yo to Miami flight were rude and unhelpful - the plane sat in the tarmac waiting for a gate so flight arrived 15 minutes before planned departure - we inquired as to whether the plane would be held - response- despite having internet access was “ I don’t know “ you’ll have to check with gate agent - oh and by the way the flight attendant was virtually laying on the front seats - she as grossly obese and was so large as he walked the aisles she would hit passengers every time she turned around - we ran to the gate arriving 8 minutes before departure - gate was shut two gate agents were reading social media posts on their phones - we inquired about the flight - the gate agent said “ you missed the flight “ and then sat down and continued on her phone - the other one at least looked up and told us where to them go for assistance - eventually we were assisted and offferd 1 to wait u til the next day to go or to go through London - we took the London option. 1. I was informed by anAA employee they the connection is frequently missed due to similar problems. 2. Flight attendants and gate agents will bankrupt the airline with their horrible attitude. - they should be fired.

Cons: Boarding was very slow with so many passengers wanting to carry on all their earthly belongings. I was unaffected as I had checked my bag at the gate, but for some there was no room at all. Some early boarders were allowed to exceed the one-bag in the overhead rules.

Pros: The plane was nice and clean. Boarding went well and staff nice on boarding. Service was smooth though food not great but then it is airplane food. The morning continental food was nicely packaged and good.
Cons: The plane boarded and left gate a little late but had a maintenance issue with one of its doors so plane had to return to gate. We finally got off the ground almost three hours late but staff tried to be as helpful as possible though they didn’t know much. It was good the passengers seemed fairly patient and accepting. The horror was at the airport in Venice where it took over two hours in very long line just to get through passport check.

Cons: 1. Flight crew stopped coach passengers in the middle of boarding to take drink orders from first class passengers. Very rude and unnecessary. 2. Flight crew allowed passengers to wait for the restroom next to the pilot access door. At least five times with single passengers waiting and once with two waiting. Crew said nothing. 3. Flight crew did not check seatbelts prior to takeoff in the forward section of coach. At least one seatbelt remained unsecured and one child had a backpack on his lap during takeoff. Very unprofessional crew. Credit card promotions over the PA system were very annoying and unintelligible.

Pros: AA canceled our flight on 9/13 and rescheduled us to 9/15 for no apparent reason. There were flights leaving Orlando. When I called to ask why since all I received was a text message the customer service rep was rude. Then I received another text message on 9/13 at 4:30 am saying my flight was canceled and we were rebooked again!!! After calling again I was told if I want to leave on Friday we would have to leave from another airport that was over an hour away which means $225 in transportation to get us there! This is on top of the 2 additional hotel nights we paid for and additional meals. When I asked if we would be compensated for all the additional expenses we were incurring I was told it's weather related so probably not. I informed the rep that flights have been leaving Orlando since Tuesday 9/12 so that cannot be the case. She said to try to contact them online. UNACCEPTABLE. I will not fly AA again and I will not recommend them to family or friends. If I could give zero stars I would but the survey defaults to one star.

Pros: Nice modern plane. Even though the flight was delayed, we ended up boarding earlier than expected and arrived pretty close to our original expected arrival time.
Cons: The crew was nice and everything, but they weren't very good at making announcements on the loudspeaker. You could tell they didn't really know what they were saying or haven't practiced. One lady was trying to make a sales pitch for a new master card and you could tell she was reading and there were long pauses. My sense is that when using the loudspeaker to talk to the entire flight, one should be practiced and know what they're saying and communicate quickly and efficiently. Don't mean to be critical, but it's something that I noticed that could be improved.

Cons: The flight attendants were highly rude and i felt as if i was discriminated on. I was sitting in the back and the flight attendant who was suppose to assist us made us feel like i was a bother to her. First of all she just rudly dropped biscuits on my table didnt ask if i wanted and then I had to ask her for coffee, she didnt ask me if i wanted something to drink. Finally she brought my daughter and I some coffee. i ask for sugar and she said im very busy you have to wait....eventually she gave me one packet of sugar. I had to ask for another sugar for my daughter , so when i ask she gets upset and tells me i have to wait but there as a white who ask for assistance and she was very polite to her.

Pros: Online check in scanning my phone and having my seat already picked out. Informative while on the flight and great spacing. Also like to know that there still is free carry ons allowed.

Cons: The space and seats were uncomfortable. I received errors when trying to access gogoinflight on my tablet, even when I had the most updated app. Therefore I was unable to use the app during my flight to Philadelphia. Also, when checking in from our original departure location, MCO, we were not provided our boarding pass or luggage tags for our final destination, Barcelona, only to our connecting flight, Philadelphia. The connecting flight was delayed in MCO for an 1 hour and a half, after we have boarded the plane. So we waited in the plane for the whole hour and half while a maintenance issue was being resolved. The delay almost cost us to be late for our final flight to Barcelona. Since we were not given our boarding passes for PHL to BCL it caused confusion when trying to board our plane in PHL to Barcelona, and also caused for our baggage to not arrive with the flight. After landing, we spent an additional 2 hours at the Airport going through customs, and waiting on line for the lost and found desk for baggage in Barcelona. The lost and found desk had three agents available to assist, however we can only talk to one which was designated specifically for American Airlines. This caused a very long wait time of 1 hour. We were advised the bags stayed in Phildelaphia since they did not have the additional luggage tags, and will not arrive till the next day. Overall the experience within the Airport kiosks, service desks, and baggage check in' s was not a pleasant experience. I believe many of these issues could have been avoided if the American Airlines agents were more knowledgeable and attentive.

Cons: we waited an hour for the bags to arrive on the carousel. What's that about? Get it together and have the bags out in time. We're just sitting here waiting for them over an hour - there are no other arrivals in this terminal. What's going on?

Pros: Liked having an exit row seat, appreciated being given a full can of soda, and loved the in-flight entertainment options as I was able to watch two recently released movies.
Cons: Leg and knee space stink for basic economy, especially as a big guy (6'4").

Cons: This is one of the worst flights I've been on in a long time. When I arrived to the airport they had not assigned me a seat and did so at the gate. I was in the worst sear on the plane. Very last seat on the plane by the lavatories and newr the flight attendants station. The flight attendants talked very loudly the entire flight. so loud I woke up and needed to watch a movie to drown them out. i wdoubt I will be back on American any time soon.

Cons: We sat in Orlando waiting to take off - delayed for OVER 30 minutes because ---> the catering truck failed to show up. The captain aired his frustration of the catering crew. Supposed to arrive in Philly approximately 2:24pm - we didn't arrive until 3:03pm. Baggage took another 20-30 minutes. All American emoloyees looked tired. Not one smile either to Orlando or from Orlando. (Oh yeah - we were late taking off to start my vacation from Philly because a crew failed to arrive to "start the engines of the aircraft," per captain's announcement. The entire aircraft boarded and sat, again, for 30 minutes without any air conditioning or air flow in the cabin.) Blah experience. Blah employees. And two different captains announced the reasons for delay with an "annoyed tone."

Cons: Boarding was a mess - I couldn't distinguish the line and elbow my way to the front before the gate agent called the two boarding groups behind me.

Pros: Everything was smooth and went on schedule. Actually first flight in a very long time and it was the holiday weekend. Yeah.
Cons: Allergies. American Airlines must do a better job of accommodating children with peanut allergies. It is obvious they do not get the serious health issue and life threatening situation of the allergy. Our family traveling to Disney on AA had a very uncomfortable ride.

Pros: I did not actually get to take this flight. My father was placed into hospice right before this trip and passed away about a week later. The airline was kind and sympathetic and refunded the total airfare. They made the whole thing much easier than anticipated.

Cons: American Airlines are incompetent. Almost 3 hour delays for no reason. The lavatory was not working so delayed the flight for it when the plane has been sitting there for 2 hours before the flight time. In they end the decided to fly with the lavatory after waiting for 1 hour take off time. Then that chained different causes, runway delay times and gate taxi delays at landing. The flight was very bumpy because they were trying to make up for lost time, such a mess.

Cons: Plane was very warm upon boarding due to issues with auxiliary cooling but informed it would change as engines turned on . I sat in row 20 and it was very cold during flight. Flight attendant inquired about comfort. It improved for about 10 minutes and returned to cold state . Noticed that one attendant put on some kind of jacket due to coldness . Nearby passengers retrieved blankets from their carry on baggage. Glad I had at least a light jacket to throw over me and that my legs were partially covered. Guess it's better to be too cool than too hot. Otherwise. It was s great flight .

Cons: Our home was damaged, and we were without power for 6 days due to Hurricane Irma. We called the airlines repeatedly in an effort to cancel the ticket before the flight. They refused to cancel the tickets. Heartless

Cons: The aircraft was full and they had a nonworking lavatory. And I asked the flight attendant that the lavatory was broken and he told me no there was somebody in there and he lied.

Pros: The flight attendants were very efficient, professional and kind. It was a dramatic improvement from past experience.
Cons: The seats are ridiculous.

Pros: Process was super easy, I even emailed my itinerary from United to kayak as requested, and I received updates about the gate, baggage and status before United!

Cons: The United passenger agent that talked to me at the gate when the other one, who was scanning the boarding passes put me on the side because I could not board with two items was disrespectful. She used a discriminating tone and embarrassed me in front of other people. She made it sound as if it were a shame to purchase a cheap ticket. She was arguing with another passenger before helping me over the same subject, so when I tried to explain that the smallest backpack was almost empty and fit inside the other, she was impatient, upset ignored me and was already demanding my credit card with the bag tag in her hand rushing me. I paid extra $60.00 after I had paid $25,00 for the first bag when I could have put the flexible kipling inside the Jansport if she had listened to me. The flight delayed after I was unable to defend myself and paid an unfair feer.

Pros: Free upgrade to Economy + (more legroom) , I even did not know why I have been cerdited toget it, bit I definitely lieked it. I also liked the option to volunteer for check our carry-on at the gate. Coffe and snck quite adequte for th short journey

They feared i would possibly be stuck in Houston until the next afternoon so they put me in hotel and gave me a food voucher to stay in Orlando. I am leaving to catch the first flight to Chicago this morning and make it to my final destination in time for my evening plans in Iowa. They turned a bad situation around for me. I love that

Pros: The main reason why I even flew United is that I was desperate to get my destination that day and they had the cheapest flight. It helped that the Customer Service Representative ( Liz at MCO) was extremely helpful and understanding of my situation. My experience with Liz has changed my outlook on the company. There are still humans beings working in United Airlines!
Cons: I chose to fly Southwest on the way back and for less money I received better service. If you find a reasonably priced flight you don't have to worry about paying extra for baggage or stomach during the flight. On the flight home, I realized that they have bigger seats, your bags ( 1 personal, 1 carry-on, and 2 checked bags) are "free" and they give you a little snack to hold you for maybe and hour. Overall I prefer Southwest because of all the benefits you get while flying with them but it doesn't mean I will never fly United again.

Cons: Worst service from an airline and 3rd party vendor. I couldn't believe the level of disorganization from their "core" team. I will NOT ever use this service and especially not the American airlines staff, crew or phone staff. This did not only affect my day poorly, but also impacted my family and disrupted my finances. This will not be the last time you hear from me I was very unimpressed.

When I arrive at the airport and check in, my seat was magically unassigned and unavailable. Luckily there were a couple empty seats or I'd have been dragged off

Pros: The plane was punctual, and the captain got us home in less time than we expected. Excellent.
Cons: A couple degrees more of seat recline would not have bothered me from either end. I would not have felt intruded upon had the gentleman in front of me had another degree or two, and I might have been able to find a comfortable napping position that didn't leave me uncomfortable. We didn't eat anything on the flight this time, but the complimentary snacks on our other flight were tasty, and the Gin&Tonic was exactly what I needed. While we didn't pay for the in-flight entertainment, we know the entertainment is exceptional, and were only disappointed we were pinching pennies. Boarding was pleasant enough in Newark, but Orlando is a terrible airport, and people there seem very ill-mannered. Not United staff, just people in general.

Cons: We where delayed for two hours or so, if you asked upon arrving during what should have been boarding you got a curt remark no information. There way no anouncement about a delay just one that the crew arrived, nothing about why we where delayed or estimation of time when we would board. Other delayed fights where getting information over the loud speaker. The attendants left the area came back when we could board and hurded us on the plane. Not a friendly face or smile. Everyone was tired, a little civility would have gone a long way

Cons: So we arrived at the desk after a 7hr international flight ready for the final 1hr leg - only to be confronted with "flight overbooked" looking for 9 volunteers - how can you over book a 40 seat flight by 9 ???? So we had an anxious wait wondering if we'd be dumped from the flight - we weren't but it wasn't enjoyable waiting for the flight and our meeting with our grand kids.

Cons: Made me check my carry on because they stated there was no room which was not the case when I walked on ( found at least 6 spots). I requested to at least be able to look for myself seeing as how my seat was in the very back, but they refused. Also, allowed many customers to store their personal bag ( their backpack) in the bins that were oversized which should have counted as their carry on, just allowed them because they wanted to. They should have made those individuals check their "carry on". Also limited snacks available by the time they were able to provide service to my area of the plane.

Pros: That the captain kept us informed as much as he knew constantly. Liked that allot. They kept apologizing for the weather delay.
Cons: When we had to taxi back to the terminal to get more gas and sit there realizing we would be on the plane 5 plus hours instead of 2 1/2 hours, I wish they would have found a way to bring lunches onto the plane for purchase. I think everyone would buy. I brought a few snacks but not much. That would have turned the experience into excellent. They could have sent someone to grab yogurts or packed sandwiches. Would have helped.

Pros: Finally got us on the plane after a 6 hour delay. They decided to "update" the computer software on the plane after they had us all on there. Took about 90 minutes. Very displeased, will do my best avoid United in the future

Cons: Our flight got delayed during boarding because specific items were not loaded on the plane that needed to be shipped with our flight. It had nothing to do with paying passengers. If the items were important enough they should have had a private charter complete the task.

Cons: We paid 160$ to upgrade both of our seats to economy plus for more leg room. Unfortunately, when we got to our seats, we realized our seats could not recline because they were in front of the exit row, which is understandable but we wished it would have warned us of that obstacle when we picked out the seats. I am also 5 months pregnant and so we felt that we paid more for what turned out to be a less comfortable flight.

Pros: We had a good flight on a beautiful day. Smooth ride no weather or atmosphere issues. Thank God. Stewardess was very polite.
Cons: Wheel chairs were not provided in time. We had to wait till airline emptied and still wait. Cause of lack of assistance for wheel chair transporters. Some had connecting flights, pray they made it there. The ones that came to pick us up one two persons for eight people could not do the job. So we were taken off air craft n put out in lobby, to wait for all to be off the aircraft and then transport, one at a time to baggage claim area. Transporters and stewardess did a very gd job. Just the lack of help. Air conditioner on plane was off, so even ten minutes of smell bathrm, is just too much when air conditioning is off. I got very congested and had to use the inhaler, after a couple of sneezes due to environmental allergies. On top of that, cleaning people got on to clean w chemicals, only to affect me some more. Now I stuffed up, feel horrible, nite was bad with asthma n allergies that could have been avoided.

Cons: I went to the gate agent who was rude, no smile - just said "I have to get checked in I will call you". I waited . She beckoned across for my name. Then called me up with her finger. She asked if I had a ticket (hadn't looked for my name correctly) she told me I'd have to wait until all had boarded and a volunteer gave up their seat. I did get on(last one)- Never a smile or an explanation. Will not fly united again. There are plenty of choices.

Airplane was overbooked and cramped, nobody was enforcing the face covering rule, drinks were served requiring everyone in the plane to remove their face coverings, flight was delayed due to weather but the whole hour+ we waited to be cleared for boarding there were no announcements or updates and the poor lady at the desk was getting berated with unnecessary update questions, even the screen behind her still showed a departure time of 6:05 as we were boarding around 8:00.

Pros: 321/5000 Absolutely nothing, it was my last time using this airline. They charged me for the suitcase and other people did not; from wanting to ingest something until water is charged, the area of the seat dirty, tray where you have to put the food dirty (I have photos). Completely disappointed, she believed in the reputation of the company.
Cons: Equality ... we are all going through a bad economic state. Hygiene in this situation has to be stricter. The Covid 19 is not a joke, many people die in these situations, we make many trips for work that we expose ourselves.

Cons: 1. Flight was delayed multiple times,. Was supposed to leave at 10:17AM and didn't leave until 2:30PM. 2. I was directed to different gates by Spirit employees who should have known (or should have known how to find out) where the new gate was. Very confusing. 3. Flight crew told us that our plane was continuing on to Denver (my final destination.) After the other passengers had exited, a flight attendant made an announcement that we had to vacate the plane due to the crew change. I exited the plane. While I was in the airport restroom, the gate attendant made a garbled announcement that my flight was shifting gates. When I got back to the gate, the attendant told me that we were on a new plane leaving from a different gate. I had to run from gate 34 to gate 18, and was the last one to board. It would have been better we were told to go to the new gate before we exited.

No entertainment option I guess if I was only going a short flight it’d be ok but still never a 1st chioice And remember cheap airlines means kids will be on board

Pros: The flight crew was polite and attended to my needs and they were actually funny.
Cons: I did not like the limited food selections and the small portions that were served. Also, I always like it when the pilot informs you of the area of the country you are flying over. For example I recently took a flight from Las Vegas Nevada to Melbourne Florida and that pilot on Delta explained where landmarks were all along the way. That is something comforting about a pilot connecting with his crew and the people aboard the flight. So I would really like that if Spirit would include that. Additionally I do like onboard entertainment but maybe the fares would have to reflect that.

Pros: An airport attendant, Alfonso, was wonderfully helpful and friendly. He took good care of me, as I was needing wheelchair assistance.
Cons: When we arrived, I needed wheelchair assistance. I was picked up on the gangplank, and taken to the gate across from our arrival and LEFT THERE. No offers of help after that. I had a 3 hour layover, and finally Alfonso asked if I needed additional assistance. No one else was I interested in helping me get to food or a restroom. During the course of my layover, I heard over 6 flights have gate changes. Ours also was changed...at the time we should've been boarding. No explanation or apology for inconvenience. And again, I was LEFT THERE with no assistance. I finally flagged someone down to get a wheelchair and take me to the new gate, where I was LEFT AGAIN. I finally got up and walked to a restroom in my own (in great pain). The info for our flight remained on the screen at the old gate, with no mention of a gate change, and the new gate had NO information posted about our flight anywhere...which led to a great deal of confusion, chaos, and angry patrons. The gate change also caused us to board 30 min late. The Spirit employees were hard to find (laughing and hanging out in a closed-off area behind the desk). They were not friendly, helpful, or even understanding about the situation. I asked to be the last one on the plane (needing wheelchair assistance), and was told no, with no kindness or explanation. The flight attendants on this flight were not any better than the ines in the flight before...only w/o the funny commentary. And, another long flight with no entertainment, comfort, or friendly assistance. When we arrived at DFW, there were storms (that would've been avoided if we had left Orlando in time) that kept us in a holding pattern for an hour and a half ON TOP of a two and a half hour flight. The flight attendants used this time as a way to make MORE money for the airline by charging money for any food/drinks during this time...even water. We were on that cramped plane for 5 HOURS and were still having to pay for water. This was one of my WORST airline experiences in over 40 years of flying.

Cons: I was supposed to depart at 10 pm. Flight was delayed twice via email & again once I arrived at the airport to 1:40 am. Around 1 am, the flight was cancelled. There was almost an angry & very immature mob at the gate desk for flight rebooking or refunds. There were few flights for the following evening, which sold out quickly; then rebooking were for the day after that. They did not offer to cover any hotel arrangements. The staff handled it pretty well, but it made my wait to get a refund even longer. I had to find a rental car to drive overnight from Orlando to Atlanta. I finally got home at 10:30 am.

Pros: Courteous, smiling flight crew--professionals--were aboard the plane, well-versed in their jobs and prepared for every eventuality.
Cons: It was not Spirit's fault that the flight was delayed for two hours--that was due to weather--but there were no updates and when the clerk got on the intercom she was very soft-spoken and hard to hear. In order to effective deal with flight delays, one needs to have consistent updates, so that one can inform friends and family and arrange for rides from the airport that don't have to wait forever for the palne's arrival. It is difficult to be over six feel with long legs; leg room is nonexistent,, and non-reclining sits are difficult. Although I would never pretend that this was at all the fault of anyone at the airline. I was seated next to a woman who was very large--at least 400#, and quite broad-shouldered--and she took up half my seat. My back still aches, I couldn't lean back or straighten out or get comfortable in my seat because of her size. It made for a painful, difficult flight.

Cons: Will never fly Spirit airlines again. First flight was cancelled, return flight was delayed by almost 2 hours. I waited at the ticketing desk for 3+ hours (while on hold with customer service on my cell phone). Never had my call answered and also did not ever get to the counter for my refund. HORRIBLE experience, worst customer service ever. A total inconvenience, I had to rearrange all my travel plans, incurring many additional expenses and also book a different outgoing flight at a higher cost in order to get to my destination. Also, the flight seems cheaper but then they gouge you by charging for your seat and also for your carry on. Not any cheaper in the end. NEVER AGAIN.

Cons: The staff was not happy you could tell they did not want to be there they were very disengaged. This was the second time my flight to Puerto Rico had been canceled. And then it was canceled while I was in Puerto Rico without notice . There was nobody at the airport no one answering the phone's nobody to talk to nobody to resolve issues . I waited on line for customer care/reservations for over four hours and I have proof . That is unacceptable for any business economy or midscale . And then you're only offered $50 when you had to pay for another ticket pay for another night in a hotel in extra day in a rental you're out over $500 and they give you 50 .

Cons: They wanted to charge for everything we had, including the purse that my companion was carrying. I found out later that our backpacks and purse were under their posted "Guidelines." When she told us that the baggage fees would be almost $400 for the two of us, I said "You are insane." and we rented a car and drove 15 hours instead... with car rental and gas and hotel, we still spent less than the baggage fees! When I called Spirit to complain. I was told that the gate agent was trying to overcharge us, but that there was nothing that could be done. They would not refund the cost of the tickets (Only $144) or offer any travel credit. I will never use Spirit Air

Cons: Ridiculous charges for everything you get on other carriers for free: printing boarding pass, choosing a seat,water, carry on bag allowance. Additionally seats are extremely small(and I am not a big person), no inflight entertainment available at all, no option for an electronic boarding pass and additionally the flight was delayed. With what I paid for the flight itself, the charge for 1 carry-on bag and the fee for selecting a seat at the time of booking, my total cost was more than what I would have paid on Delta or American. Will not be a repeat customer of Spirit.

Cons: Fare cheap but all the 'musts'made it more than any other airline: $9 Online fee; $25 kiosk fee (which didn't work and had to pay $50 fee to check in with clerk; had to check bag approved for under seat/carry on (12"c12") and since kiosk didn't work, charged $60 for 1st bag, even though I paid $60 for a 'first checked bag' and 2nd bag should hAve been cheaper. It was TSA agent who told me I would be required to check the bag by Spirit as it didn't meet carry on criteria and if I didn't check now, would be $100 at gate. I told her that I was traveling back with same TSA approved (and Spirit online rules) and she became rude and rejected my bag (and did a complete body search) so, I was forced to check the bag or miss my flight. I asked her and the Spirit clerk (3) if this was a TSA/ Spirit racket with kickbacks for TSA and/or Spirit and NOT on of them laughed, smiled, or denied this question. Mever again will I fly Spirit airlines or recommend to anyone!

Cons: On arrival at the airport, help was needed to get the boarding pass but there was no one at the ticket counter to help. For that reason, Joe missed the flight. When the representative did get to the counter, she was of no help in helping him get to his destination. He was marked as a "No Show" and his reservation was cancelled. Joe was told his return flight was confirmed. He was able to make arrangements with another airline after spending another $300 to get to Orlando. However, when he confirmed his flight home, he was told it was canceled because he "no showed!" He talked with people in Orlando and I called the phone number on the email received from Spirit after he missed the flight. I spoke with 3 different people who only wanted to tell me their policy. I needed help in getting Joe back to Akron, Oh. They could only tell me that we would have to make a new reservation and pay even more money for him to get home. They did not honor the money that had already been paid to them. They did not help us at all. They could only quote their policy, which was a moot point by that time!!!

Cons: We were over 1 hour late getting to Orlando as there was a passenger who was on the plane in stand by . Spirit overbooked the flight and they down 45 minutes trying to resolve the issue. I was suppose to get to Orlando at 10:30 . I got to Orlando at 12;30 . I had to be up and ready at 6:00 . It took me 45 minutes to get a ride. This past Thursday I was suppose to fly spirit to New Orleans . The security people search me for around 40 minutes . The plane was still at the tarmac however the spirt person had closed the ramp and would not let me on the plane . The plane set there for additional 25 minutes . I drove to New Orleans for 7 hours for a meeting. I will never , ever fly spirit again .

Cons: Getting our boarding pass to print was a nightmare. I kept getting password invalid. I was told I would be sent an e-mail to reset my password. NOT! made that request 6 times before I waited 30 minutes to get a rep on the phone. Was told I had to sign up to be a Free Spirit Member to get my boarding pass. No where does it say that that is what you had to do . The rep asked if I had booked through them? I told I booked through Kayak and he gave me attitude. Kind of huffed and I thought he mumbled "you get what you pay for" So I signed up and got our boarding pass. Coming back AGAIN we couldn't get our boarding pass. The rep at Cabana Bay got a Spirit rep on the phone I told her I was a Free Spirit Member and I gave her my member # and she me told I didn't exist in the system, but she would send me an e-mail to change my password Of course that didn't come through. I put Sara, from the front desk, back on the phone and between her and the rep we got our boarding pass. We started our vacation upset and aggregated. Ended it the same way.

Cons: The alert was finally sent to us well past the time we would have been going through security. Luckily, we had checked on our own through a third party app,. No alternative flights were available, so we had to book on another airline and cancel the Spirit tickets. The credit policy is draconian. We may not be able to meet the redemption requirements and will probably lose the entire value. The process created so much frustration and wasted so much time. The low-ish price is simply not worth it.

Cons: Flight attendant was so mean. I did not get a chance to ask who she is or her name was at that time . I was traveling with my family including my mother who is almost 80 years old and was seated farther away from me. I stood up to check on her as she was having shortness of breath when we boarded. I stood up 15 minutes after we took off although the seat belt sign was on to check on my mother, I knew I need to stay at my seat but I have to check on my mother. flight attendant was at the aisle getting food orders and was very rude told me to go back to my seat. It could have been better if she asked what's going on and why I need to stand . That's not my expectation of a flight attendant as she should be there to assist and provide support if needed. But she was very rude and directed me back to my seat without asking the reason of my action/ behavior but instead very rudely telling me to go back to my chair. She could have asked me if I need help. I believed she is also the flight attendant who was using the overhead mic to give instructions to the passengers. She is not fit to where she is at. I believed that there still a lot of people that were very disappointed at her . I hope nobody dies in the plane where she is at as her act of negligence,rudeness , discourteous is not acceptable.

Cons: Flights both ways delayed more than 2 hours both ways WITHOUT notification, compensation, or explanation, even when queried. I was forced to reschedule my car rental for twice the price due to tardiness. "Randomly selected" our flight to be security checked FOR A SECOND TIME AT THE GATE, and then my girlfriend was innappropriately molested for some reason by a tsa agent. I fly all the time and this was the first time this has ever happened. No service, still very expensive, dirty seats. I will NEVER be flying spirit again.

Pros: Made it home in one piece
Cons: Only one suitcase, otherwise had to pay $52 for anything extra. Some passengers had more than one case/bag without charge. The staff acted like they did not enjoy their professions. Charging for snacks seemed outrageous & asinine. The flight was very rough and at some points very frightening. Dropped down more than once with my stomach having a pit. The passengers clapped their hands when we landed as if it wasn't safe. Not happy, extremely disappointed. The fight to Florida from Detroit was awesome & pleasantly surprised. I probably wouldn't recommend Spirit to friends or family.
