Coming from Worcester and arriving in Orlando at 7 pm I was appalled. I was finally switched to an early flight and I was also promised that my luggage would arrived with me and only one baggage arrived. In Ponce I was lectured by Roberto regarding missing luggage while standing in there ready to cry."

They didn't know and they said maybe it went into the checked bags. So I wait at the baggage claim and out comes my carry on bag without any tags. Strange! My carry on didn't have anything valuable, but a bit of communication or some form of record would have made this odd incident a little less nerve-wracking. 1. Please communicate with the passenger if their bags get transferred to the checked bags 2. Please communicate with the crew which bags get moved from the cabin to the checked luggage 3. Please label the bags if they get moved around--there was no gate-checked tags or any stickers to communicate with the checked luggage folks."

I told them I have been having anxiety attacks and if they can please put me in an isle sit so I wouldn't feel like I was trapped sitting between two people. So understanding and they put me in an isle sit second row of the airplane. Will never forget how kind they were to me thank you JetBlue."

She even gave some of us a tour of the galleys and taught us a few things about Mosaic customers as well as a few other operational things. I didn’t catch the other flights attendants names as they covered more of the back of the plane but they were both insanely hospitable and it was very clear that they loved their jobs as they were having fun. The women who checked us in also accommodated is with Even More Space seats after knowing we were crew members!"

I would highly reconsider the tempuratures on the plane seeing as that this could severely sicken children and elderly. I have never experienced this before."

The boarding agent acknowledged these issues as she explained to me and 5 other people that we couldn't get on the plane that wasn't scheduled to leave for 12 more minutes. Finally, thank God, a supervisor arrived and called the captain of the plane who subsequently let us board. Completely unnecessary situation. Very disappointed."

Cons: "A 2 hour delay at 9:20pm at night is unfortunate yet frustrating experience, especially when we moved our flight up due to a travel warning for EWR (ironically enough, our originally scheduled flight (1922 MCO-EWR). I'm giving an overall OK (instead of good) due to the fact that there were no snacks (although I did not want anything, it didn't go unnoticed) and although there was free inflight entertainment for personal devices, I feel the passengers should have been given free internet access - in my opinion, it would have been the appropriate thing to do. In any case, this experience doesn't change my positive opinion of United."

During my layover in Washington DC my gate number was changed I was never informed despite signing up for notifications and having an eTicket that was never updated. When I asked one of the employees for the proper gate number they gave me another gate number that was incorrect I ran to that gate and the person there than give me the correct number but by the time I got to that gate I missed my flight After dealing with that I was lucky enough to talk to somebody who was helpful at the customer service table. She did her best to accommodate myself and three other friends unfortunately the next flight was over booked and only had two seats open. When I tried to explain to the attendants by gate A6 (Jackie and E Badi) that I have a party of four and I could not leave anyone behind they called security on me for not going on the plane. Once the security officers came they heard both stories saw that this was a waste of their time and told us all to file a complaint after getting the employees names. I would never recommend this airline to anyone traveling!!!"

I had a good amount of room in my seat (I was not in an emergency exit row) and I had no problems with my luggage."
Cons: "There was a 2 hour delay to take off. When your flight is at 7am and you've woken up at 3:30 or 4 to get to the airport on time, it's a bit frustrating to wait an extra 2 hours to leave. The gate agents were woefully uninformed and when they did communicate with passengers it was vague and unhelpful. The gate agents kept referring to the need for "maintenance" on the aircraft. It doesn't inspire a great deal of confidence in the soundness of the plane to hear that the maintenance crew is trying to "fix something in the cockpit." The Departures monitors and my Kayak app were giving me delay updates before the gate agents were. At one point we switched gates (it was the gate directly across from the original gate) and I watched as passengers at one gate literally traded places with passengers at another gate because the flights had swapped gates. It was comical. Overall, just a disorganized, uninformative, frustrating mess."

Cons: "I am allergic to dogs and cats. This is a growing problem for me because it seems that the rules are looser and people keep a pet on their lap and service animals are increasing. There were two on board ( One not a service animal, the other one was) and I spoke to the gate agents who were mostly uninformed and unsympathetic . There is an overall lack luster with everything about FRONTIER and I get the no-frills / buy what you need concept, but there is no accommodation for people with serious allergy, and there is an increasing ability to get the certificate to have a service animal for just about any malady it seems. I respect the need for a service animal. However the passengers who have to sit in an airplane with recirculating air with dander are largely misunderstood. I asked to speak to a FRONTIER supervisor and there was no one to be seen and I got a stock answer from the gate agent in Orkando who was chewing gum so hard, it was difficult to have a conversation. Eventually I gave up my good seat to go further back from the animals who were seated up in front rows. That makes it worse when you have to pass by them to get back to your seat. And again, the gate agents were not helpful in getting me on the plane pre-boarded. Yes I take medication and sometimes I am OK and for the record, there is no truly "hypoallergic dog" for me. That is the excuse I also get. It is tough to live with when people around you do not understand . I was also recently deplaned on United airline because of this problem. I cannot stop flying it is always something now I have to worry about until I get to the gate. I do not wish it on anybody but if you had the reaction of welts itching and swelling it would be better understood as something that needed to be addressed by the airlines. Then I compared the tickets, both the time, but from Frontier Airlines was cheaper then I stayed with frontier and cancel the other reservation from Spirit Airlines the next day I see frontier airlines also cancelled that reservation and I had to rebook another ticket for 496$, the price went up, then I had to pay 187$ extra, IT WAS A FRAUD JOB FROM FRONTIER AIRLINES, I can prove everything above with the receipts and the dates on it, the worse experience I had"

I checked hours before was in the airport and long lines an hour and 1/2 before flight leaving and due to your Frontier agents at this counter I was unable to board. This happen to more than one passenger in line with me. This agent continued to argue with me rolling her neck and head at me rather than get me to t gate with an available half hour before take off. There was vomit at the counter which they refused to call anyone to come and clean up but overall NO ONE was on task. I will dispute the extra charges I have incurred due to this fiasco and will NEVER fly Frontier Airlines again."

We missed our flight because we arrived at the counter to check our bags past the cutoff time to be checked in by 1 minute (due to long lines). That was partially our fault but the representative who was helping us did absolutely nothing to help us problem solve and seemed almost pleased to tell us that she couldn't take our bags. I rarely see such bad customer service. I have heard that Frontier pays their staff very poorly compared to other airlines and I assume this is why the customer service reps are so jaded."

Cons: "We had already paid the luggage fee and just needed to drop off our bags for our MCO to DEN flight. It started with no curbside check-in. Incredibly poor service at ticketing/baggage check. A mass of people. No directions. Even employees (when asked, not one volunteered any information) didn't know which line was which. Only four people working the counter. And then the airline called for people leaving on a flight after ours and brought those passengers to the front of the line. When we got to the front of the line the employee's response was "You need to be here three hours before the flight." For a midweek domestic flight? ATA treated us like this once. They're long gone. Goodbye Frontier."
Pros: "Prices are decent and everything is a la carte. Crew was accommodating and had more food options than other airlines."
Cons: "Had to pay $35 to bring a laptop bag? Absurd. Also paid extra for front row believing that it was first class however first class did not exist on this flight. Took almost an hour to drop off my bag even with the online check-in. Because of this alone I will be avoiding Frontier unless I have no checked baggage."
Pros: "Excellent value! Decent seat to sit in for 3.5hrs. I gave one star for food because I didn't buy any food that was offered, after all I was only on the plane for 4 hrs total. Smooth ride compared to other passenger reviews, my only other time in a plane was very rough@ landing@ O'Hare Chicago during bad weather, that pilot got a round of applause. I will look to use Frontier Airlines again if I ever fly anywhere."
Cons: "I would have liked internet access but there didn't seem to be any. I would have paid $5 more for WiFi. The seats are a bit cramped but for $50 I wasn't expecting barca-loungers. Since I have only flown once before in my life I was interested in hearing and understanding the safety instructions given by the flight attendant, but she spoke so fast that I (with some hearing loss) couldn't follow her words. I couldn't make much sense of the picture book instructions either because there were few words of actual direction."

Cons: "I want to start by saying i am totally disappointed in this airline. I am currently in Orlando my flight was supposed to leave at 11:25am today. I have stood in 4 lines twice in lines that the attendent left to go socialize and one i waited for over an hour and than into a secound for well over an hour. I informed them i have a severely autistic son and needed to find a way home as soon as possible. Mind you while all of them watched my son go in and out of meltdowns countinually hitting me. Needless to say in spite of not getting a flight today and being told they can get me on the earliest flight on Thursday and they supply no lodging. No appology no nothing!!! In the midst of it all i met some angels. Ones that hung out and forgave my son for hitting them, let Mazi play with their ears and went looking for people to help us. I even had a woman come up to me and look for flights for me and my son and offered to write a check to get me and my son home. This same woman put $300.00 in my hand to help me. Her name Tracy Morgan from Florida! So inspite of the awful treatment from this airline i am blessed beyond mesure from the human heart of people I have never met and the love and kindness they shared with me and my son! Found a flight tomorrow thanks to my mom leaving at 8am from a different airline. The resort offered to let us stay for another night free of charge."
Pros: "I had no problems with the crew or employees at frontier."
Cons: "I was aware that this airline charged for carry-on's and beverages that other airline companies usually provide fee of charge. However, there were several other issues that I had that soured the experience for me. First of all, the seats were considerably less comfortable. The backs of the chairs were plastic, the try table was so small it might as well not have been there at all, and the leg room was terrible. On the way back there was a line of about 300 people at the Frontier desk to check baggage. I don't know if they simply did not staff appropriately, or if there were too many flights scheduled to take off around the same time, but I've never seen anything like it. They did attempt to fix the issue by pulling the people who had sooner flights to the front of the line, which I was thankful for or I would have certainly missed the flight. However, this could have been avoided by planning flights more appropriately, and certainly was not the most fair approach. Finally, we had to wait for about 45 minutes for our checked bag after the flight as well. This could have been the fault of the airport itself, but I've never had an issue with baggage at this airport before. Overall, I don't think the extra saving was worth it, and I'll likely be flying with a different airline in the future"

Pros: "Initially the cost of the airfare seemed too good to be true....we ended up paying $190 in addition to the cost of the tickets."
Cons: "1.Hidden costs - we have carry on luggage that ALL other airlines are fine with, but when we got to the gate to board they told us they weren't for carry on and had to pay and additional $60/piece($120 total) and threatened that we couldn't board if we didn't pay. Then they allowed us to carry them on and they fit easily in the overhead compartment. 2.Mass confusion boarding on the return flight. There were designated long lines, then other personnel would make changes to the lines confusing everyone even more. 3.We had our bags pre checked, our boarding passes printed the night before (as recommended by the airlines) to expedite the boarding process and we still had to stand in line with the other passengers who had not completed this ahead of time. It did not expedite anything for us. 4.Seats do not recline, very uncomfortable. 5. No vomit bags....we had a very turbulent decent and many people in need of sick bags. Many ended up vomiting into their personal bags!"
Cons: "They don't email links to checking online. But if you wait to check in at the airport you will be standing in line for a half hour. Though from the looks of the baggage check line, you will wait even longer if you do check in ahead of time."

My carry-on suitcase is HALF the size of the traditional size and paying $30 to bring it on the plane is insulting. The chairs were uncomfortable. They don't recline, no head rest, and no blankets were on board which made resting for my 5 hours across the country EXTREMELY uncomfortable. For all the extra fees you'd think a movie and some snack packs might be available. Then again, with the trays too small to fit even my mini iPad, there'd be no place to put them. No in-flight entertainment was a bummer too. I've usually been so happy on Frontier. Bit this experience will keep me from flying Frontier ever again."
Pros: "We were forced to wait 15 hours with one delay after another. With one excuse after another. My flight was scheduled for 1001 am. We did not board the plane on time. It was 1145 pm and I did not get to Cleveland at noon, no it was 3 o'clock am with no chance to rent a car to go home I had to call my daughter! And the best part was that my 75 year old wife had to endure this.they would not cancel the flight and allow me to take my wife to a hotle. There were parents with infants as well that was not happy.So to Hume it may concern You have lost several customers because of your failure to take care of your customers!"

By the time you add all those "That cost extra" together, you can book a flight with an airline that at least serves you a cup of coffee during the flight."

Cons: "My flight was 4 hours late taking off, which was blamed on weather amass although I fond this questionable after reviewing weather in the areaspam involved, I'll give them that. My flight on the way back was over 4 hours delayed for no reason that I could glean from speaking with representatives. We got no advanced notice even though the plane had not yet left a destination around 4 hours away. We were told a plane was coming from another airport and would be there by 6. The plane did not arrive until 9. No explanation. No compensation. Nothing."

Cons: "The line at the airport to drop off my luggage (which was prepaid) was crazy long as most people had not prepaid and some were trying to pay with cash (which Frontier does not accept). Even tho I had my boarding pass printed and luggage paid for I waited almost an hour in this line - and I arrived 2 hours 1/2 early. After arriving in Cincinnati the luggage took at least 40 minutes to arrive at the pick up point. On my outward bound trip to Orlando the luggage took over an hour to arrive at the luggage carousel. It seems that Frontier does not have a good rapport with the baggage handlers at the airports."

Worst airline I have ever experienced, and I have flown over 100 times. Skip Frontier and pay the additional cost for a better airline, or you will have regrets!"

Cons: "We spent 15 minutes taxi-ing off and on the runway. Baggage was sent out 27 minutes after passengers left the aircraft. My seat was at the end of the aircraft, and I had to pay extra for that, and had sticky gum all over it. When I told the flight attendant, she said, oh no, really? The flight attendant did nothing to help me be reaseated or clean my seat. After a passenger vomited, the flight attendant did not help the passenger by providing anything to cleanup. The aircraft stank of vomit as we sat in the runway for 15 minutes. The flight attendants woke me up to sell their credit card, but not to provide refreshments/water. The announcements went on for over 10 munutes. My seat was surrounded by screaming and crying infants and nothing was done to help those mothers calm their children down. The seats had very little leg room for anyone my height and taller (5'9"), despite having to pay for the seat. I will not fly Frontier ever again. The upfront low price doesn't reflect the baggage, carry-on, and seat add-on fees, so it's very deceiving."

You may get a great rate but then you are charged for everything else. Seats are not very comfortable and tray tables are the size of a mini iPad. No inflight movie."

On other notes, on the first flight of my two, the plane was swerving back and forth on takeoff and landing. The weather was fine, and I've flown plenty enough to know this wasn't normal. My second flight was fine. It was on the same plane, but the crew changed, so I guess it was pilot causing it to be this way? The seats were uncomfortable in coach for long periods of time compared to other airlines, and did not recline."

I was not aware of this ahead of time, but it was confirmed to me after looking at my ticketing and speaking with several TSA agents from my departing airport, Orlando (MCO). They said Frontier is one of the very few carriers that do not participate in this program for some reason. I would love to know what that reason is? This is a very important feature for me. Without a good reason for not offering this service, I must say I am far less likely to chose Frontier in the future, along with having to make recommendations to my colleagues to avoid Frontier for this reason for their travel needs as well."

If ever a major problem with the aircraft, it would be very hard to exit the plane quickly and safely. Very nervous about this airline. Pilot seems capable and flight was smooth, so I guess that’s a plus. The first time I flew spirit, they didn’t give us the baggage carousel and the attendant in airport didn’t know. Tried another and was given a wrong carosel. The psssaengers found it on their own and called out to others. I always fly BDL to MCO and back. I travel alone or with children. Not much choices on the flights times etc."

Cons: "I did not like the limited food selections and the small portions that were served. Also, I always like it when the pilot informs you of the area of the country you are flying over. For example I recently took a flight from Las Vegas Nevada to Melbourne Florida and that pilot on Delta explained where landmarks were all along the way. That is something comforting about a pilot connecting with his crew and the people aboard the flight. So I would really like that if Spirit would include that. Additionally I do like onboard entertainment but maybe the fares would have to reflect that."

Cons: "im not one to complain but Wiskey Tango Foxtrot. I show up to the gate and they somehow canceled my reservation and gave my seat away! They put me standby on that same flight. We get to the gate and it's delayed an hour. After an hour it gets canceled because the flight attendants all called out!!! Seriously. Go to the front they put me on the next flight at 6pm (8 hours from the original flight I was booked for) That one gets delayed 2 hours and at this point the plane is over booked so I figured I'll just give up my seat and fly another day. Go to the front counter dude says the next available seat is in 12 days!!! And even if I want to change my flight the manger is on break. He turns to the guy next to him and in Spanish asked where she went and he said she went to the house. She is the only manger in the airport that has a code to change anything including giving my money back. So I book a flight with United and go back to the house. Worst experience ever. I'm in the military and fly constantly and have never had this horrible experience."
Pros: "My flight was delayed twice. The flight to Detroit was leaving from a gate nearby. Since my final destination was in Michigan, I asked to be transferred to the Detroit flight, since I would not make my connecting flight to Flint because of delays. The gate agents were wonderful. With 4 minutes before boarding closed, they switched me from the Chicago to the Flint flight, without complaint or additional cost. Very much appreciated!"

There was almost an angry & very immature mob at the gate desk for flight rebooking or refunds. There were few flights for the following evening, which sold out quickly; then rebooking were for the day after that. They did not offer to cover any hotel arrangements. The staff handled it pretty well, but it made my wait to get a refund even longer. I had to find a rental car to drive overnight from Orlando to Atlanta. I finally got home at 10:30 am."

With what I paid for the flight itself, the charge for 1 carry-on bag and the fee for selecting a seat at the time of booking, my total cost was more than what I would have paid on Delta or American. Will not be a repeat customer of Spirit."

Cons: "Fare cheap but all the 'musts'made it more than any other airline: $9 Online fee; $25 kiosk fee (which didn't work and had to pay $50 fee to check in with clerk; had to check bag approved for under seat/carry on (12"c12") and since kiosk didn't work, charged $60 for 1st bag, even though I paid $60 for a 'first checked bag' and 2nd bag should hAve been cheaper. It was TSA agent who told me I would be required to check the bag by Spirit as it didn't meet carry on criteria and if I didn't check now, would be $100 at gate. I told her that I was traveling back with same TSA approved (and Spirit online rules) and she became rude and rejected my bag (and did a complete body search) so, I was forced to check the bag or miss my flight. I asked her and the Spirit clerk (3) if this was a TSA/ Spirit racket with kickbacks for TSA and/or Spirit and NOT on of them laughed, smiled, or denied this question. Mever again will I fly Spirit airlines or recommend to anyone!"

Cons: "On arrival at the airport, help was needed to get the boarding pass but there was no one at the ticket counter to help. For that reason, Joe missed the flight. When the representative did get to the counter, she was of no help in helping him get to his destination. He was marked as a "No Show" and his reservation was cancelled. Joe was told his return flight was confirmed. He was able to make arrangements with another airline after spending another $300 to get to Orlando. However, when he confirmed his flight home, he was told it was canceled because he "no showed!" He talked with people in Orlando and I called the phone number on the email received from Spirit after he missed the flight. I spoke with 3 different people who only wanted to tell me their policy. I needed help in getting Joe back to Akron, Oh. They could only tell me that we would have to make a new reservation and pay even more money for him to get home. They did not honor the money that had already been paid to them. They did not help us at all. They could only quote their policy, which was a moot point by that time!!!"

Cons: "Getting our boarding pass to print was a nightmare. I kept getting password invalid. I was told I would be sent an e-mail to reset my password. NOT! made that request 6 times before I waited 30 minutes to get a rep on the phone. Was told I had to sign up to be a Free Spirit Member to get my boarding pass. No where does it say that that is what you had to do . The rep asked if I had booked through them? I told I booked through Kayak and he gave me attitude. Kind of huffed and I thought he mumbled "you get what you pay for" So I signed up and got our boarding pass. Coming back AGAIN we couldn't get our boarding pass. The rep at Cabana Bay got a Spirit rep on the phone I told her I was a Free Spirit Member and I gave her my member # and she me told I didn't exist in the system, but she would send me an e-mail to change my password Of course that didn't come through. I put Sara, from the front desk, back on the phone and between her and the rep we got our boarding pass. We started our vacation upset and aggregated. Ended it the same way."
Cons: "The alert was finally sent to us well past the time we would have been going through security. Luckily, we had checked on our own through a third party app,. No alternative flights were available, so we had to book on another airline and cancel the Spirit tickets. The credit policy is draconian. We may not be able to meet the redemption requirements and will probably lose the entire value. The process created so much frustration and wasted so much time. The low-ish price is simply not worth it."
Cons: "Flight cancelled due to weather. Supposed to leave on Saturday, told it would be Monday or Tuesday before we could get out of Boston. Airline has no reciprocal agreement to put us on other flights. Agent gave us wrong info, told us to take refund, and come back if we couldn't get on another airline. We took his advice, came back, and the flight cost was over $1,000 each. We will never book on Spirit again."

Cons: "Spirit is HORRIBLE. They herd you into the plane like cattle. I'm a female of average height/weight and I was cramped. There is absolutely no room to move. The seats are so thin you can feel every movement behind you. There is no food, wifi, or in flight entertainment. They rob you with a $55 fee to carry on a bag. It is $3 cheaper to check one. They cancelled my flight and would do nothing about it, other than give me a partial refund and a coupon for a hotel. A coupon!!! They wouldn't even comp me for a hotel. Customer service reps were extremely rude after me waiting on hold for over an hour. Never again."

Charging for snacks seemed outrageous & asinine. The flight was very rough and at some points very frightening. Dropped down more than once with my stomach having a pit. The passengers clapped their hands when we landed as if it wasn't safe. Not happy, extremely disappointed. The fight to Florida from Detroit was awesome & pleasantly surprised. I probably wouldn't recommend Spirit to friends or family."

I would avoid them at all costs, you can always drive."
Pros: "The original flight from Latrobe to Orlando was cancelled leading to a scramble to find a new flight elsewhere, since the next Spirit flight available was in 2 days. Ended up cancelling the return flight with Spirit as well. Possibly someone without time constraints could handle taking a flight 48 hours later without any problems. But we were meeting another person who had flown to Orlando and arrived when we were originally scheduled to arrive. This caused problems for others because we didn't arrive on schedule. We never had a chance to experience Spirit Airlines and will never be buying tickets for flights with them again."
Pros: "You can tell the planes have been updated and they were comfortable."
Cons: "All of the joking done by the stewards on the overhead microphone. Too many jokes and their content, it wasn't funny at that point it was unprofessional. Super disappointed about having my luggage left at my city of origin and the earliest I was offered to get it returned was in 24 hours! So I'm in a new city with no clothes at all and the rest of my continents that were in my suitcase. Arranging to have the suitcase dropped off is not enough to counter the worry and financial inconvenience that comes with not having your stuff. I am thoroughly disappointed and will never fly with spirit again"
Pros: "The flights to Chicago and Atlanta were both smooth. I got to my final destination quickly. I was offered a coupon for 2,500 miles. The attendants were professional and respectful."
Cons: "My initial flight was canceled because of a mechanical error. My flight was supposed to leave at 7 am Saturday morning. I was supposed to be in Georgia around 8:30 am. The people in charge did very little to rectify the situation. The pretty much treated me and the other passengers like we were to blame for the plane not working right. I had to get booked on another flight which took me to Chicago, then Atlanta. It took me 14 hours to get home. Like I said, the airline didn't do much to rectify the situation. They gave me a lousy food voucher worth 7 dollars. Not much I could do with that. On top of that, I had to go through security twice. The second time I went through, a security officer threw my shampoo, sunscreen and body wash away because of some stupid regulation involving liquids. The first time I went through, nobody said anything about it. I hold the airline and the airport responsible for my stuff getting tossed out. I will at least be using the miles Spirit Airlines gave me. After that, I don't think I'll be traveling with them again"
Cons: "Computer system shut down for hours, everything had to be printed prior to boarding, I only had an IPad, so I went to a relative's computer and couldn't get it to work either. I arrived so much too early so I could get help."
Cons: "There were some very loud obnoxious people on board. The staff did nothing to settle them down and at the end of the flight a fight nearly broke out and only one staff member tried to calm the situation. all others just looked on."
Cons: "I thought the pricing was a little bit high for luggage. Although I got a cheeper flight through spirit initially, I paid about the same price as any other airline would have cost by the time I added in my bag and reserving my seat."

Cons: "Our family was separated on different flights and we had to pay an additional $251 to get our minor daughter moved to our flight."
Pros: "The flights are relatively cheap (if you opt for no luggage and random seating) and the attendants are always friendly but that's usually where the "pros" end."
Cons: "My flight was delayed and the time was changed more than once; I feel this is becoming a trend every time I fly spirit. My cramped and uncomfortable seat was covered in chips upon arrival and there was trash on the ground. This has been happening more now that they have previous passengers clean up instead of having them cleaned up between flights. Overall, if you want a good price you're gonna have to put up with all the woes of air travel."
