Cons: "We were not able to board the plane. We left our morning flight from Madrid on time and arrived as expected. We hurried through the airport and went exactly where we were directed. Despite this, the gates closed on us while we were running to the gate. TAP sold us a service they could not provide."

Cons: "The food was disgusting this time as well as the last time I traveled with TAP. The seats was uncomfortable and in leather like material witch made the seats very warm and sticky."

Cons: "Our flight in Lisbon was scheduled to board an hour before departure. We arrived on-time, went through the line and were then placed in a standing room only area to stand and wait for another 45 minutes before boarding. We were placed near the entrance (I thought to board early as a family) but were later told to join another line when we asked why we sere just standing and waiting while other passengers were walking past us. The communication between staff and between your staff and passengers was poor."

Pros: "Very helpful gate attendants. The food was delicious and the movies were all current and kept us entertained for nine hours!"
Cons: "Very cramped legroom. Cabin was extremely hot. There was a man binge drinking in the seat across the aisle. He should’ve been cut off at some point, but he kept drinking. He was a worry."

Cons: "Though the weather was fine - no excuse - the 7 hours delay! the fact that instead of landing in Newark (my original reservation), we landed in JFK! VERY INCONVENIENT AND AN EXTRA EXPENSE! The fact that in Lisbon airport I had to wait more than one hour to reach the help desk and then plead to receive a voucher for refreshment (left Madeira on an early flight, no breakfast on that flight, the flight to NY delayed till 5 PM!). I chose TAP because it was the most direct way to reach Madeira - but the delays on both flights were more than unfortunate - it was simply poor service."

Cons: "TAP seems to have trouble landing at its own global hub. Three hours wasted in Porto before the traffic over LIS had cleared up. First time TAP, last time TAP."

Cons: "They ran out of my food choice after the 2nd row of business business class. Their video is 20 years out of date, and for business class a disgrace"

Pros: "I love flying TAP because I love having extended layovers in Lisbon. Lisbon itself, including the airport, is easy to navigate. The food is great and the culture and architecture is gorgeous. For shorter trips TAP doesn't have as many amenities as other airlines, but on this trip the typical video screens with movies, music, etc. was available."
Cons: "In this particular flight there was a male airline attendant who was fabulous and who could speak many languages, including German. I noticed the other airline attendants seemed to be giving him a really hard time and weren't friendly at all. In fact, I rang a bell to ask for attendant help at one point and no one came to help. I was just a seat back from the area where the helpful airline attendant was available. I think that overall TAP flight staff could be a bit more open to being friendly. However, on the ground in Lisbon I've found the staff to be amazingly helpful."

Pros: "The food was good. I have Celiac Disease and they accommodated my gluten free necessities with GF bread!! Wow."
Cons: "The entertainment for an international flight (9 hours) was horrendous. The tiny TVs were actually fuzzy and it is set up so that you cannot actually choose your movie. It is like watching TV where you may tune in to a movie 20 minutes into it playing instead of starting whatever movie you want from the beginning. To make matters worse, there was no plug-in in case you wanted to watch entertainment of your own on phone/iPad."

Cons: "We had to postpone our first leg from London to Lisbon by a day and then they cancelled our return flight without telling us!!! So, we were trapped in Lisbon with no flight to return home. We called them and they said, "we cancelled your tickets and only have business class seats available for you and your toddler." We said no thank you. If we were going to spend 1k on a return flight, we were going to take British Airways. TAP, never again."

Cons: "First flight was delayed by just a half an hour and we arrived in Portugal. We had a connecting flight to AMS with also TAP and had a two hour window to make the next flight with the same company (TAP). We were in line for passport and then security and talked to several TAP employees and they said we would be have time and wouldn't have a problem catching the second flight. Well, we got through the lines with 30 min before our next flight and they wouldn't let us on. Customer service and organization of the airline is really poor. The aircraft had minimal room and no entertainment. We got on our next flight five hours later and all they gave us was a $10 food voucher. So poorly managed."

Cons: "Real nightmare as I had booked YUL-LYS-BRU with Brussels Airlines (SN). YUL-LYS was operated with Air Canada. Came within 4 minutes of missing flight despite being at airport 3 hrs early. SN had not released ticket to Air Canada so they could not check me in. Had to call SN customer service after AC could not check me in, then wait and wait as they had to try to correct the mistake 3x before AC counter could issue boarding passes. Terrible experience going through this with 2 small kids waiting. It’s as if the two airlines’ systems don’t communicate but passenger is responsible for resolving."

I was travelling alone. and I really didn't need any extra attrbourention There was a family with a infant and small children just in front of me.I was happy to see the flight attendant,help them get organized and she spoke very nicely to the children.The Baby did cry for a while and the flight assistant did try to help themto calm the child. All in all I was able to read my book and even take a little nap . I would fly Air Canada.again. Thankyou Anita Arbour"

The seats were abnormally stiff and went back so little that it was extremely hard to fall asleep during the 18 hours we were on board. The crew was unwillng to let us bring our instruments on board and thus, they cracked from the air pressure during the flight."

Cons: "Some staff were rather difficult to engage - lacking interpersonal skills and hence leaving me in a 'did they hear me?' mode. I suspect that this is a 'how they are managed issue!'. The 'boarding zone' system either suggests they normally have crowd control issues or need to better understand human dynamics. Every one was bored by zone 5 boarding and the system falls over at zone 4! From a commercial point of view the experience was one of felt weariness!"

Cons: "I was sent to Frankfurt because Air Canada messed up my flight. When I got to Frankfurt, they had booked me on a lufthansa flight. When I got to the gate to get a boarding pass, the person told me that Air Canada had not paid them for the flight and unless they were able to contact them before boarding the plane, I would not be able to get in. They were able to do so right before boarding. The plane from Frankfurt was over one hour late. I was supposed to arrive in Lyon at 10:35am and got there at 7:30pm. Throughout all this ordeal, Air Canada staff members were mostly unhelpful and often rude."
