Cons: "Changed flight , couldn’t check in. I bought ticked on kayak but vayama was the actual ticket seller on behalf of Iberia which is a British airlines company. I couldn’t check and and customer service of vayama didn’t want to help and asked me to call Iberia. I called Iberia and after staying on hold for 40 min they told me to use the same confirmation number of Iberia flight on British airlines website. After a long day and a long and expensive uber ride I made it to sfo to see the flight has been delayed... never ever ever going to buy an international flight from Iberia, and very hesitant about kayak redirecting sales."

Cons: "Awful (typically BA) configuration im Club World on a 787 - cramped, inadequate storage, just lacking essential comfort for a supposed premium class. Food: seriously, I've had better in student cafes. Just stop it BA - its like some kind of prison food. Entertainment: meh. Small selection of new release movies. Crew: with the exception of one - just one from a complement of 15 odd - of the crew, the rest were a surly, inhospitable miserable bunch. If you hate your job don't take it out on customers - especially in a service industry."

The airplane interior was ancient and would be better served with Allegiant aircraft and not something that should be on a so called premium route by a once premium company. I would honestly recommend anyone fly Thomas Cook or TUI or even Norwegian before flying British Airways 777s as they are ancient wrecks with no value proposition. I would recommend going by boat before flying British Airways 772. The only time I would recommend flying any of the 772s from British Airways was if walking was your only other choice and even then a nice pair of trainers would probably be more comfortable."

If BA can't figure out how to get the luggage transferred within that short of a period, they should not offer flights that close to each other. Secondly, I left a really nice down pillow and bag on my flight from London to Ibiza and I checked the lost in found at the Ibiza airport"

Cons: "The arrival, planning and hosting at Heathrow was probably worst I have experienced in 30 years. We had a tight connection, no attempt was made by anyone to prioritize those with less than 45 minute connections. We had one immigration officer for 2 lanes including the fast lane, what is the point of it. After immigration the automatic system did not let us in the boarding area. We were redirected by staff to leave the secure area without any clear explanation of what to do next. When we arrive in the ticketing area, we, several of us, went to try to go through security. That is when we were told we missed the connection. Then we were told to go to B1, after waiting in line we were told to go to zone E for reticketing. At which point I went in standby, only passenger from the group following to Edinburgh, did not make the 2nd flight either. Waited 6 hours at Heathrow..,"
Pros: "I was prepared with my smart phone and iPad and external batteries, turns out I needed none of those things! What a pleasant surprise for the in flight movies, music and tv to be perfect. I didn't even have to use my external battery on the flight because there is a perfect USB port in the screen in front of you. The food was as good as airplane good gets, the plane incredibly comfortable and staff was attentive. I don't love the long flights but this BA flight is now my go to anytime Im headed to Europe."

Everyone of the gates in B 20s terminal had a flight leaving and there was no system set up for where people in the various flights should queue or stand. A lot of people were confused as to who was in line for this flight and where to stand prior to the actual boarding starting."

Cons: "Gate at Philadelphia was tiny with not enough space for everyone on the plane, it was a 6 hour flight and no snacks beyond pretzels were available-not even for purchase. I'd just come off an 8 hour international flight where I was provided lunch, ice cream, a pot pie snack and frequent beverage service. Somehow as soon as you are flying domestic on a slightly shorter flight American Airlines thinks its okay to treat customers like garbage-nothing but some sad pretzels and 2 rounds of drink service was provided for a 6 hour flight. The seats were super uncomfortable with no head rest, no personal entertainment devices were provided, and there was no general entertainment for the whole plane-seriously I've never been so bored. I would have fallen asleep from boredom but the seat was too uncomfortable so I couldn't even do that. The plane landed in Seattle but sat without unloading passengers for 20 minutes because the gate crew wasn't ready. We didn't get our checked baggage for over an hour after landing. When asked, customer service reps said that the S gate was far from baggage claim-seriously I'm not sure how that is a reasonable excuse. Other airlines arrive into S gates and have timely baggage claim service. American Airlines has no standard for timely baggage claim service like other airlines (Alaska) so there were no repercussions for such late baggage service. We left the airport with our luggage over 90 minutes after the plane landed. The entire experience is just another example of American Airlines of why the terrorists won't even fly American Airlines. I was seriously disappointed to find out that the British Airways flights we booked were operated by American instead of BA crews. I seriously will never select this option (or fly American) again if I can help it."

Flight from London - Chicago was delayed 6 hours. Of course missed connection in Chicago. Spent night in Chicago and arrived home 48 hours after leaving for Venice airport."

Cons: "Itinerary I received was for British Airways, with whom I have always had excellent experiences. However, I discovered at check-in I would actually be traveling on American Airlines with a different flight no. I had already provided my BA flight numbers to family. No explanation was give to me prior to flight that this would be the case. Food was terrible- even for Coach class - I don't always expect a gourmet meal, but BA was consistently good in the past, so I had positive expectations. My personal entertainment system did not work properly so I could not use it."

Too many announcements - and I don't like it when they play movie trailers, commercials, etc. over the sound system. The food was horrific. I wish American Airlines would charge $20 more per ticket and provide some reasonable food. Everything just screamed LOW QUALITY. Lucky I had brought a sandwich and some snacks with me on board. The food was so bad that I didn't even touch it. They should just eliminate the food completely and tell people to bring their own on board."

Cons: "Baggage was damaged, which required a claim to be submitted. Company policy requires me to take the damaged baggage home, empty it, and return it to the airport. The airport is 1-1/2 hours from my house. They inconvenience me by handling my baggage like an ape and then continue to inconvenience me by requiring me to go way out of my way to get it repaired. American Airlines apparently does not understand what customer service means."
Cons: "I nearly missed my flight because I did not have a seat for a flight that I bought a ticket for at full price. Which, would lead one to believe that I would have a seat on said flight. However, coming to the gate an hour before boarding the personnel working gate the said he was having computer difficulties and could not get me a seat and it would be 10 min. I continued to return till boarding to find out I had no seat and I was on standby. Upon going to customer service they replied the airline oversold tickets and every airline does this as if to make this practice ok. Well being in sales myself and if I were to sell x amount of product to one customer ( or several) I better make sure I have it all there to deliver. People rely on you schedule wise. It nearly shot a meeting I had to make in the foot. Very disappointed with the airline and the way things were handled."

The monitors at the gate do not indicate which groups have been called and are allowed to board, so everyone just crowds up at the gate, you can't hear what's being announced and it's messy. It would be so helpful and efficient it was clearly displayed which groups have been called to board. I don't know why all airlines don't implement this. We were also made to check our carry on at the gate and when we got on the plane there was enough space in the overhead, which was a bit annoying."

Cup of noodles and a 3 tiny pieces of beef plate were provided for dinner which was very disappointing. While a typical egg breakfast and snack were also provided. Hot beverages were generally not served due to turbulence and water service during the 12hr flight was minimal."

Cons: "The day was extended by 10 hours. It seemed like each time I was redirected including the added flight to Ottawa I was set up to miss a flight. I was sent to Ottawa because there wasn't enough oxygen on the flight to Toronto. 15 passengers missed our flight to Toronto because we left Fredericton late which put us on a new flight 2 hours later, that had mechanical issues so again a missed flight. I am happy they do their due diligence with safety, but it created a long day. They also had to stop food service before they got to me so I wasn't able to get food."

I asked if they have plastic twistee so I can lock my carry-on luggage before check it in. Unlucky there is none. I hope Air Canada can consider providing this ( I got from Cathy pacific before at check-in luggage counter) since they may help re-assure traveler like me who don't prepare a lock for the hand carry suitcase."

Thought it should be in a simple plastic container => even though I agree to minimal use of plastic for environmental reason. 4) The insufficient headroom for carry-on really slow the boarding time and cause delay in departure. Need better idea to help with this. may be for those who volunteer to check-in their carry on, they get a coupon for priority to board next time?"

Worst experience traveling by far. Also lost over a day of my expensive trip that I've been waiting to go on for awhile and saved my money for a year. I lost hundreds of dollars in events and hotels. Avoid Air Canada if possible"

We had to stop to go to the restroom on the way to our gate, and the lady complained when I waited to go in after my wife came out. I told her I was going to do that, but she was apparently pre-occupied when I told her, because she was looking right at me when I said it. I then told her that I had let her know that was my plan, but she denied it, then told my wife she was just one of a hundred people. This left my wife in tears. This was a stain on an otherwise good flying experience, but it' tarnished the whole."
Pros: "The price for the flight was right. Nothing can be done about the seat size. Food was ok. Comfort of seats ok. Not easy to recline. The etertainment helped me fall asleep, a Good Thing. Crew was pleasant, helpful."
Cons: "Pearson Airport is a miserable experience for travelers. Security there is very badly managed. Long, long long lines of people waiting without reasons given, getting lost because signage is poor, unable to understand the English of the employees, weeping exhausted children and innumerable check points for showing documents. GET ORGANIZED, Canada!"

We were ushered out as a group to a connection security check which required electronic kiosks to be used for scanning our passports photos and fingerprints... They fraught with malfunctions then after waiting in line for s while we did the whole check all over again with s human security agent in s booth... There were only 2 security agents in the booths as well but there really needed to be several more to keep the line moving quicker... After security we walk directly out to departures but no mention of baggage claim, which was fine had we not been misinformed by Swiss initially... We ended up inquiring several times with SirCsnsda staff until it was clear Swiss had misinformed us."
Pros: "I was not charged overweight for going over by 2 pounds since I had a Business Class ticket connection to my final destination."
Cons: "For an almost 4 hours, 400 USD international flight I would have expected to have at least a snack to eat a one luggage to check in on the price. I am an international traveler which doesn't have a choice but to carry a suitcase. Not to say that once on board I was requested to check in my carry on because there was no room on the plane and that I had to travel with my personal item on my feets since there was no available room at the over the head compartiment since I was identified with Zone 5 boarding."
Cons: "I was supposed to be home on a Sunday. That I didn't arrive until the follow Tuesday should tell you something. My adventure included: 2 cancelled flights, one drastically oversold flight, being given a hotel room without a working toilet, hours spent waiting at the airport for information from gate agents who never showed up, and being curtly told that, as a passenger who didn't arrive on a connecting flight, on my second night I would not be given a hotel room, but instead a mat to sleep on in the airport. I did finally get a hotel room—this time with a working toilet"

Cons: "For a 5+ hour flight only beverages were offered - anything else (such as a snack or small meal) had to be purchased. Very cheap service IMO. The selection of entertainment (movies/tv shows) was exceptionally limited and out of date. Their way of boarding the plane (via zone) is very backwards as families with children weren't asked to board until half way through the plane loading (unless those families had already paid for the more expensive zone upgrades). Most airlines let them load first to give them extra time. My checked bag was 1.2kg over the limit so I had to open the bag and switch 1.2kg of clothing into my carry on in front of the rest of those checking in. What an embarrassment and such foolery. All in all Westjet does a better job for trips across Canada. Will not be trying Air Canada again."

Definitely first and last time flying w/ Air Canada"

My girlfriend flew same flight 10 days earlier and had same thing happen. If Air Canada has that many mechanical issues I'm not feeling warm and fuzzy about them."

It wasn't just one narrow event: even after the delayed flight, and 6 hour phone call to get rebooked, we had to use international roaming charges at the Shanghai airport to call and get them to correct an error they made with our flight out of Shanghai. The flights themselves were alright, but I want to use every opportunity I have to complain about the booking and customer service process."

The thing is, I received at least three emails prior to the flight from AirCanada, one was my itinery. So whoever couldn't find my email address must be looking on another planet or something."

Our flight was supposed to land at 2:20 pm and did not land until 10:30 pm at Narita airport. We were not compensated and were abandoned by Air Canada. We had to sleep in the airport since everything was closed."
