Plane got switched and I was moved to the back
Recovery is taking its toll, The Delta employees are burdened with the covid restrictions costing then undue time to make sure they are complaint and its hard to do. Federal law mandating restrictions above local law is ridiculous. I did like the new boarding back to front, been wondering a long time when airlines would figure that out, but drop all the categories for pre-boadrings, only have one: Special needs, Military and 1st class, one call then back to front, half the plane was onboard before it got efficient.
Cons: "So professional during this pandemic. I felt safe the whole time. Slept like a baby, the flight was so smooth."

Pros: "There was an incredibly large passenger next to me and I was essentially afforded only a quarter of my seat. It is not really fair for anyone to have to sit next to someone taking up twice their seat."

I thought that sitting in comfort+ they'd at least give us the comfort of a blanket but I guess not... Oh well."

The problem is your greedy Chinese luggage handling thieves who work for your airlines in Chinese airports. Whenever they can steal from luggage, they always try to steal from passengers, particularly American. I have had multiple experiences with theft from Chinese airports. I have been to China and back to the USA five times. Many times, items have disappeared from my suitcases in Chinese airports. That is why I decided not to move to China to live but instead move to Indonesia. However, if I fly any plane that transfers my luggage in China, I can usually expect to have my luggage robbed. Although this time, nothing was missing from my luggage, that fact that your people had to wrap my suitcase in plastic (because they did not know the secret for relatching it) and resend it a day later, that is proof that one of your airport personnel opened it to see what he could steal and then got caught because he could not close it again. I am really really really tired of you Chinese thieves. I blame all of you because you are all a product of Mao Tse Tung’s godless atheistic evil society. The Chinese have proven to me again and again that they cannot be trusted. A Kong Chinese official even stole my Ohio driver’s license when I transferred through that airport on a previous trip to Jakarta. I understand your problem. If you fire all dishonest luggage department workers, you will not have any workers remaining. That is why you will always rank as a third world backward primitive society even though you buy expensive airplanes that you don’t build and dress your people up like professionals which they aren’t. AS LONG AS Chinese airport luggage people are dishonest and cannot be trusted, your entire airline is a failure. That is not prejudice against Chinese people. I know some honest good ones. They are all Christians, the kind of good people the corrupt Chinese government hates. An atheistic country is an evil country. Do not expect to be respected by honest people. You people clearly do not deserve it. You are still in the stone age when it comes to professionalism which requires total honesty, a quality which your luggage handlers consider to be dispensable. Pros: "The prior flight arrived late and then due to what appeared to be some mechanical issue, the plane was towed into the gate at about the time we were due to board. I mention this only because this was the only glitch during the rest of the flight. Loved the wide variety of entertainment available inflight, the AC outlets on EVERY row, and though I didn't need it this time, the availability of Wi-Fi Internet is appreciated. And though we left 40 minutes late, we made up part of the time and arrived only 20 min later than scheduled. Bravo Delta! I'll have to check out your version of Mileage Plus."
Cons: "I couldn't understand the gate agent's announcements due to language issue but most of all competing announcements from the gate behind me. One of the flight attendents was more bossy I felt than necessary. She told me not to put my backpack in the overhead bin, even though there was enough space and the back 3rd of the aircraft was half empty (I was in the last loading zone so there weren't many more people after me)."

The Wi-Fi didn't work at all. It was extremely frustrating.
I've experienced friendlier flight crews, but they weren't rude or bad by any means. I just chalk it up to being the end of the day.
AA canceled my trip and it was a total nightmare. I was able to go after a lot of back and forth that ruined my first day.
Ridiculously long wait for baggage
Flight attendants were pleasant especially considering the flight was full. Charger in my seat was inoperable and no entertainment available.
Pros: "The seat seemed broken. The main issue was that all shades were down. I thought when we took off and landed , window shades were supposed to be up? I felt like I was in a dark tunnel with shades down and lights the entire flight out and it was mid-afternoon."

Pros: "Flying on American Airlines like many other airlines is a frustrating experience. The added charges for baggage and seat choice are insulting when you are used to flying on southwest. It should all be covered when buying a flight. The people lining up at the door to get on the plane spill out in to the hallways and block traffic trying to get by. Southwest airlines has a number system to get on the plane and therefor avoids the crowding the entrance to get on before all the overhead space is taken. I really think american could learn a lot from Southwest airlines. I will when possible avoid this airline if there is a flight with southwest."

Cons: "United Express flies out of Terminal A at Newark (EWR) and routinely they do not have Precheck lanes open. Despite flying on the Saturday after Thanksgiving they only had one mixed security line open. When I asked TSA they said they simply weren't staffed to have a Precheck line open. Everyone was working diligently but this happens every time we fly United out of Newark. Traveling with 2 small children it is incredibly frustrating to have to go through the full security line, take off our shoes, and take all of our electronics out of our bags."

Cons: "There was a gate change and I did not receive notification. There was no email, text or app change nor was it announced over the loud speaker. I had to get a hotel for the night and I'm flying standby in the morning."
Cons: "I don't have a problem with a flight being delayed for any reason. That is simply one of the hazards of flying. However, the PIT->ORD flight was delayed multiple times for unknown reasons. If the airline would have given a realistic timetable, customers could have managed their time much easier. Instead, United Airlines kept delaying takeoff for 15-20 minutes, multiple times. When they finally get the customers into the boarding process, they act like they're doing you a favor. Poorly managed, customers manipulated."

Very turbulent and choppy, crew was great handled it like pros even when same person threw up repeatedly on the plane, and people kept getting up when told not too."

Cons: "My father is 89 and our whole family went to see him off. My husband, 3 children and myself. When I went to the ticket gate to check him in, the ladies did not issue a family pass to us. They said only 1 member of our family can go with him to wheel him to the gate. So my husband went since my father had 2 carry on luggage plus he wheeled my father. So the ladies were not very understanding. At that age I do hope he makes it back in 6 months for us all to see him again! We've been issued passes before and their only excuse was it was busy which it was not at all, no lines anywhere."

Cons: "Recent airline corporation consolidation has greatly reduced consumer choice. The surviving major airlines, in their effort to cut costs, sacrifice quality control and assurance. Pittsburgh's status as "no longer a major hub" was on full display here. United needed to have customer service agents available on site, but they did not. The review could easily turn into an essay on United's complete failure (ask the remaining passengers who were supposed to be on the PIT-IAD), but such a review would not change the state of affairs in the airline industry. I will be contacting United reps to lodge an official complaint."

Pros: "Seating is so close you can count the hairs on the passenger in front of you. Tray is too close to you and uncomfortable to even eat or drink anything. Overseas and international seating needs to be larger than short domestic flights."

Cons: "We had a confirmed reservation on tickets that I bought months ago. However, when we went to get our seats, the flight had been oversold. We were involuntarily booted off the flight- even though one on standby got a seat, and another person did not show up- we could have gotten on the flight! We were heavily compensated and the staff were as generous as they could be, but it was completely frustrating and upsetting when you have to go through that, after ahead time planning to be booted off a flight like that."
Pros: "Pittsburgh International Airport's wheelchair service was excellent (provided separate from United Airlines)."
Cons: "I was traveling for the first time in crutches. As soon as I approached the check-in counter, the lady at the counter asked me rudely "Are you checking in any luggage?". I first told her that I requested assistance getting to the gate and asked if it would be by a wheelchair or a cart. She didn't answer the question, and repeated the same question. Since I had one carry-on size bag, I asked if I need to check it in, or if I can bring it with me when they help me get to the gate. To which she replied in a very irritated tone, "I'm asking you if you need to check it in! Can you bring the bag on-board and put it away in the overhead bin YOURSELF WITHOUT ANY HELP?", hinting that no one will provide any help... At this point, I went ahead and checked in my bag. Thank God the wheelchair service is provided by a separate vendor, because he was wonderful and helpful. While we waited to board, the flight was delayed a few times. I could not hear the announcement from where I was sitting, but I noticed people started to make a line by the central info counter. 4:42pm, I received the cancellation notice via email. Because of my injury, I was unable to wait in line for long, so I chose to sit and wait next to the counter, until the line got shorter. 1 hour later, the line was growing even longer. 6pm, I re-booked a new flight for the next day via iPhone app, however, it was still showing the old boarding pass that I was automatically re-booked for. I still had to talk to someone from United to confirm, also to ask for wheelchair to get back to the main building, so I continued to wait. At one point, one of the United employees moved to the side counter to make a call re: another flight that arrived. I went and stood right in front of her and said "Excuse me, I have a quick question about wheelchair service". She looked at me right in my eyes, but she started talking to the other person on the phone. After she hung up, she ignored me and went back to the center counter, leaving me confused as to what just happened... At this point, I did not even want to make another attempt to ask for help. 7:20pm, the line went down to 3 people; a gentleman with a bad knee, another gentleman with a bad leg and myself on crutches... Am I the only one to think there is something wrong with this picture? 7:40pm, I was finally on the way back to the main building with a wheelchair service, which by the way is run by a group of amazing people. I am not complaining about the delays and cancellations. I understand it happens. I am not expecting that someone like me with temporary disability automatically receives first place in line. I do, however, wish United was more aware of some people who are in need of assistance, while being fair to other passengers. I cannot imagine how difficult it is for people with disabilities to travel with United Airlines."

Cons: "Upon arrival the flight attendant left me stranded on the tarmack without a wheelchair for 20 minutes. I have serious balance issues and was terrified. My connection was very tight and I barely made my plane to Portland. The pilot finally saw the problem and got the assistance I needed. This was the most frightening wheelchair experience I have even had."
Pros: "Direct cheap flight"
Cons: "Flight attendant was hard to understand over speaker."
Pros: "There were empty seats and the very polite flight attendant offered for me to move without me having to ask."
Cons: "I arrived at my final destination and walked to baggage claim. I was just standing there waiting when a young girl walked by me in a uniform and said rudely and almost annoyed, "do you have a question". I replied that I was waiting on my bag. She then said these are it and I said so my bag has been lost? Without any empathy AT ALL she again, rudely and now most definitely annoyed said Do you have your bag tag? I said yes and she proceeded to walk away to a corner office. I assumed I was to follow. She took my tag, no communication at all from her, I said what are you doing and she replied I have to file a claim. She then proceeded to tell me that Newark Airport was horrible and never travel through there if I know what's good for me. This was extremely unprofessional. I was simply wanting some guidance from her on what to expect etc. I had to ask her what my next steps were. She handed me a flyer and said if I had any questions to call baggage information listed on the pamphlet. I left. The next day at about 1 p.m. I called the number and the update said my bag had left the airport and was out for delivery. Keep in mind that I had to work the next day after the airline losing my bag and had to purchase shower items etc due to them being in my lost bag. Portland jetport and my home address is less than 40 minutes apart, yet my bag did not arrive at my home until 8:30 p.m. and I'm also not confident it would have ever arrived because I called around 7 p.m. and spoke with someone who called the delivery service to ask their ETA. I paid $25 to check my bag and yet it was lost. What did I pay for?! If I can help it, I will NEVER fly United again and I'll be certain to tell everyone I know about my experience with this airline."
Pros: "Truly friendly and personable staff. We got in early (although movies started after a while and barely finished as we were taxiing)."
Cons: "paying for any type of entertainment or connectivity is annoying. trash and crumbs in my pocket and tray, plus my headset plug-in was damaged and stereo connection was intermittent. drinks @ $8+ is too much."
Pros: "I sat in exit row. Since I am tall , I enjoyed having leg room Each seat had a screen and Wi Fi availability."
Cons: "The lack of air conditioning in the economy section. Noticeably cooler in the front an middle section of the plane. Rear of plane warm. The less you pay the less comfort a customer receive? Plane fares are expensive for everyone. Even those who buy economy should ride with comfortable seating and temperature."
Pros: "I was comfortable and didn't die."

Cons: "Newark airport a mess!"
Cons: "This flight was cancelled and the later flights to Portland were all full, so I was offered a flight to Boston instead, with no refund for the bus ticket from Boston to Portland, and of course my bag did not arrive with me."
