Well, they decided to move up my connector such that I had 25 minutes to run across 2 terminals. They only give you pretzels on the plane, and a single soda drink. They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

Woman was very gracious and understanding that she was asking for an accommodation. Ends up her flight to Philly had been moved to a different gate after they had found a volunteer to switch seats. Volunteer was totally unfazed but Desk crew made it seem as tho the Muslim mom was at fault for the time and trouble they had had to go through to accommodate her. She apologized profusely and was very appreciative for the trouble evernote had gone to for her. . As she walked away the crew looked at each other and shook their heads. Pretty crummy way to treat customers!"

They want to charge you three dollars for a soda. It is not customer service. Having a survey for customer happiness is stupid when they aren't working to make the customer happy. It has become evident that airlines do not care about their customers anymore. I mean if you are going to make us pay for everything then at least be polite. And on the return flight we had to sit for a half hour and wait while they moved another plane that was occupying out gate."

I had checked the status that night when I checked in and early in the morning and the system said that the flight was on time. It wasnt until I reached the airport and the lady behind the baggage counter told me that the flight was delayed for two hours. I went to go eat with my daughter at the Chilis restaraunt. I figired since the flight was delayed why not have some lunch and head to the plane an hour before take off time. I left the restarant and went through screening. One of the TSA memebers asked me why was I going in so early when the flight was on delayed. I let them know that the flight was suppose to be taken off in an hour so they let me through. As I'm walking through the terminla they have someone walking bu asking if anyone was getting on the frontier flight. I told them that I was on that flight and they told me I needed to hurry up because the plane was about to leave. I became nervous ans started running down the gate to make it to the plane. I'm running with a two year old so Im pretty sure that you can only imagine how difficult that was. Once I reached the gate I was out of breath and it was suppose to be eight minutes before we took off. However we sat on the plane for about another thirty minutes before we left. I feel as though the communication with the airline is not there 100% and if you are sitting in an airport you should be able to hear the update especially when they are not planned ir taking place at a time that is different from what was already relayed."

And even though I was 2 minutes shy of that time, Frontier crew still did not allow me to check in. RIDICULOUS!!! No other airline has this bogus requirement. In addition, Frontier doesn't give an option for rebooking for another day, which may require an additional fee (as other airlines do). The only remedy for missing a flight is moving to Frontier's next scheduled flight (that is, the next day for a trip from Atlanta because Frontier only has one flight leaving Atlanta per day). Of course, this didn't work for me because I needed to be in New York on the day of my scheduled flight. $200 DOLLARS GONE!! In conclusion, I will never book another trip with Frontier. Also, I will never use another source to acquire a ticket because that source may not provide me with certain requirements for the airlines it sells for."

Checked in online, they charged us $45 per carry on (didn't read the small print, because it's so small, and no other airline I've been on charges for carry ons). To check a bag was cheaper, $35 but no one was at the counter. Also, they charged us $20 per seat when we checked in, did not give us the option of a no-charge seat online. (even though we did have tickets) So, I paid an additional $130 for the 2 tickets total. Shabby airline."

Cons: "I flew from Atlanta to NY and supposedly laguardia airport shut down arrivals because of snow... after circling in the air until the fuel ran out, we landed in Philly and an hour later were informed that it would take at least 3 hours to get into laguardia! That would have been fine if it wasn't for the fact that a delta flight left atlanta around the same time and landed in laguardia just fine shortly after we were told that we have to wait. When absolutely no one was there to inform the passengers what to do in terms of getting back on the plane, I just left and took the train home. Not cool frontier! Should have paid a little extra for a more reliable airline"

The guy helping me I believe helped the mentally handicapped woman get her duffle in the free bag slot, no problem ... I check in go up stairs two hours later same lady is checking tickets, verbally arguing with MULTIPLE people about baggage.. including me, when I was already downstairs and pre approved to fly with my bag. She made us all get out of line and either pay or re check the size of our bag, some people ended up paying while I got to get BACK in line after already waiting to board and another employee approved my bag to fly. This lady is arguing, smiling, but loudly arguing, very rude and condescending like she was better than everyone. I was appalled at the way they treat their PAYING guest.. Like come on lady, nobody wants to be up at 5 am getting on a plane, but that is the job she chose, so no reason to take it out on paying customers. I honestly couldn't believe her attitude."

Adding those $50, price is the same or more expensive than other better airlines. There was no food whatsoever. Almost 4 hr flight and no food....the food they sell is basically snacks...not even a sandwich. The seats are insanely thin and hard. Entertainment? You have to pay for that. Never seen this kind of horrible service. I lost my flight coming back from NY because of the bad weather conditions. The airport was insane, we got off in the middle of the freeway because cars were not moving and started running. I left 3hs30 before my flight and still lost it...thats how crazy it was. Not only they didnt offer any help, they wanted to charge penalty and put me on a flight 4 days from then. Tried calling and explaining, no one cares. Never flying this company again"

I will not be flying Frontier in the future."
Cons: "A family of 4 with 2 small children sat behind my colleague and I on a 6:30am flight from ATL to LGA. There were 2 small children who disrupted my entire flight. Constant banging on the back of our chairs, slapping the trays up and down for 2 hours, slapping the plane windows, etc. After repeated efforts to ask the parents to have their children stop, the parents could care less about the disruptive behavior of their children. Complaints were made to the crew to no avail. The children were disrupting the entire 5 rows around them. These passengers should have paid for my and my colleagues flight, in addition to their flight, as they cause one of the worst experiences on a flight I've ever had. After this flight, I believe there should be a policy that if you have children on a plane, you should be required to pay more, allowing the people around you to pay less or opt out of having to be seated next to a passenger with a child."

That being said I was able to find someone who said she could be fired but was able to get me a boarding pass even though it was an hour before the flight left and all I had was brief case with me. Cons: "First of all, they charged me to check into my flight. My $131 ticket turned into $183 and I hadn't even checked in for the way back. Not only did I have to pay for a seat at check in, but I had to pay $40 to brin a carry on!!!! So what the heck did my ticket pay for?!?! Once I choked down the extra $53, I went to the gate and the flight was cancelled. The gate attendant offered a refund or to put me on a flight the next day. He wouldn't look at other airlines for me. The only nice thing they did was make the refund process easy on the phone, since I had to leave the terminal to find another ticket counter to help me. I will not be flying frontier. Ever."

The representatives @ Phoenix told us we wouldn't have ANY issues with our connecting flight to FLL as they would use the same aircraft When we landed Dallas, they told us our flight to FLL was waiting for us which was a complete LIE. The representatives at Dallas were disengaged and didn't seem to look for options to get us out of there,. Finally, a representative came and told us we had 2 options: OPTION 1: Stay in Dallas 31 HOURS!! and take the next flight to FLL (no hotel arrangements were offered) or take the next flight to Orlando and move ground to FLL. Very disappointed with your service. NEVER FLYING ON SPIRIT AGAIN"

Cons: "Luggage limit 40 lbs instead of 50 lbs like every other airline, so they can charge you $30 dollars more for your luggage when you get to the gate. The flight was oversold, they had people on standby. $5 for half a cup of soda or juice, they don't even give you your whole can. Plane was freezing, people were wearing their polar fleece. On top of that, they announce an advertisement for their credit card aboard, with a whole plane of captive listeners forced to hear. Awful customer service, no phone number to call, will never fly spirit again If I can ever help it!!!"

Cons: "The crew on my first flight were very accommodating and friendly, but on my second flight they were NOT so friendly and everyone around me was talking about how rude and unfriendly they were. This was my first time flying on Spirit and I asked for a pillow and the response I received from the Flight Attendant was "What!....we don't have pillows" Another reason I was unhappy was because on my connecting flight from Texas to Chicago we were delayed on the plane and NOBODY told us what the problem was and why we were not moving to the runway. After 42 minutes we were told "we are waiting for paperwork from Maintenance" that is it! Not how long they expect the wait to be or come around and offer us some drinks or snacks. The Flight Attendants DID NOT even walk the aisle....not even once! We finally took off after 75 minute delay. It was if we were on the plane alone...this is not how I would have handled the situation. I also obtained the Spirit credit card to rack up some miles, but not I am giving it a second thought!"

Cons: "The flight was delayed over an hour & half due to 'no landing time in NY'. Totally unrelated to weather or the aircraft. Drinks are available for a fee - even water!"
Cons: "They claim to be the best because of the "no frills" fares, etc...having to pay for luggage and carry on is ridiculous! The seats are the most uncomfortable, no tvs, no space, no reclining seats -- jet blue costs the same and has amazing features, service and crew...I'm never flying Spirit again!!!"
Cons: "My flight and all other flights to Minneapolis were cancelled that day. My only option was to reschedule for the following day. Instead of dealing with that mess, I got a refund and booked a different flight with Delta. The whole experience has put a negative taste in my mouth for Spirit Airlines. Will not fly again!"

Cons: "I purchased the Spirit ticket because it was ~$30 cheaper than my other options. I was okay with the connecting flights for the savings. Silly me, I didn't check the fine print-- Spirit charges to CARRY ON a bag. Both ways. The $30 I thought I saved was quickly erased when I ended up spending $90 to carry a duffel bag on the plane. All FOUR of my flights were delayed by nearly two hours. Seats were thin, sparsely padded, and cramped."

Cons: "find fault with each pound if the customer exceeds the weight of the luggage 2 pound the flesh once you have a lot of money and when my wife and l flew from New York to Dallas and we had two small suitcases (roller) the employee ran after us and said that they should be put into the luggage and we said that we have to pay $100 when other companies do not to the same ,these roller were tested for patterns and they have stood the but she told us that you still need to pay a surrender and FLHN on the plane, l saw those rollers and missed the plane, they wewre even slinghtly thicket"
Cons: "It was not clearly conveyed when purchasing the ticket that baggage fees were not included in the base price. Thus, we not only had to pay to check 2 bags and 2 carry-ons for 170$, we also had to pay an extra 100$ because our checked bags were "overweight" at 50lbs (they only accept 40lbs bags) - and this was only ONE WAY. We will have to pay that $270 on our return flight as well. Ultimately our baggage fees cost us 4X more than our two ticket fares combined! Now I wouldn't call that a "bargain" by any means - we could have gotten two first-class tickets on delta for the total amount we ended up paying. We will never fly spirit again and will ultimately think twice when booking through kayak. What a bummer."

Cons: "Flight 711 out of Myrtle Beach,SC was cancelled without any notification! Only emails I got were one saying my flight was on time and then another, 20min later, saying flight was delayed. My wife and I and about eight other people were there without any notifications of the cancellation and the spirit workers had no remorse and were rude! They did not care we were late for our honeymoon. Thank goodness we at least got our money back but I think there should be something else coming from them for the hassles we had to tolerate yesterday December 14, 2015 considering we had to pay double the price of our original tickets on a different airline."

Pros: "If you are going just for a weekend and can fit everything in your backpack and laptop bag, then this is the airline for you. The seats do feel a little tighter that other airlines. On the redeye flight, the coach seating was a van bench with 3 seat belts which is strange, however no one was sitting next to me so I was quite comfortable."
Cons: "Low fare airlines attract a different kind of customer. Half are like the typical "Walmart" customer. If you can tolerate that, then the fare is worth it. Also, someone was passing silent gas all flight long. It turned out it might have been the service dog behind me. I am not sure but it was disgusting. I was burned in the past because of their baggage fees. As long as you can fit everything in a back pack, then this is the airline for you."

Cons: "Sitting up straight is your only option if you are tall. And forget about trying to get something out of you bag that is at your feet. And if you don't mind knees in your back the entire flight you will be ok. And the person in front of you might be just as uncomfortable and will slam back into your knees just trying to get an ounce of comfort."
