I was exhausted from a long day. The flight was smooth. The first flight during my 3 week travel that took off on time.
Boarded early; and arrived home 40 mins early. After a long flight, it’s nice to be back home early. These flights have no amenities; no snacks. So need to bring your own
As I wrote earlier, poor planning and/or communication. At least twice, we were told that we would be boarding in less than ten minutes, only to have the flight again delayed at least another hour.
It was a red-eye, but the flight felt surprisingly quick. The seats were very comfortable, and that made resting much easier. I also want to thank the gentleman seated next to me, who graciously moved so my mom could sit beside me. We slept almost the entire way. The cabin crew was respectful in not disturbing us, while also being courteous and professional throughout. Thank you, United.
Terrible. No customer service, no food, no drinks on a 6 hour premier economy booking.

The LH flight was great except for the delay at boarding. It should be announced well in tme.
Compared with other carriers business class for an overnight was not worth the extra expense.
Nothing wrong with the flight itself. But due to 2+ hrs waiting in immigration and the additional security checkup in O’hare, I nearly missed the flight.
Another late flight from United. We never got the exact reason why. When we got on the plane, the staff seemed to spend a very long time just milling around in the front of the plane. I also never figured out why the door to the cockpit was open for so long prior to leaving. All in all just a poor performance again from United. There is a reason we did not choose United for the international legs of this recent trip, overall dissatisfaction.
Flight was delayed significantly at take off and landing. Confusion of gate assignment with back and forth. Overall, makes for a very unpleasant experience that appears to come down to inept operational management.
Flight was delayed which isn’t the airline’s fault, but the communication around it was terrible. I left the lounge to show up at the gate to board at the time in my app, and the flight in front of mine was still boarding and the inbound plane hadn’t even taken off yet. Delays were slow to show up in my app. Improved communication could have let me have a more pleasant experience in the lounge vs waiting 1.5 hours at the gate.
Horrible experience flying with American. Flight was delayed due to inbound flight delay. Fine, it happens. Then, we were delayed an additional almost 30 minutes due to the paperwork for departure having a "clerical error." Then, upon landing at the destination airport we were stuck on the plane for an HOUR after we landed and pulled up to the gate because apparently there was another plane. An hour waiting for the gate 12:30 AM when the flight has already been delayed due to operational error feels like a complete failure of the ability to do the one thing they need to do apart from actually have the plane takeoff and land. Very disappointing.
Overall a good experience, however Wifi was not working on the flight.
Flight was on-time, boarding was flawless and the crew was friendly.
My flight from LGA was cancelled and my rebooked flight from JFK was delayed numerous times. I will now be getting home after 2am.
It would have been nice if American tried to care.
We arrived 25 minutes early only to be told our gate was occupied and so we sat for close to 30 minutes to pull into a gate. That’s not an early arrival!
Terrible. Cancelled my original flight. It made getting a boarding pass difficult. The AA employee (in a loud voice, so everyone around could hear) griped at me for not getting a boarding pass 24 hours before. I asked how I was supposed to do that when I had no idea what flight I was going to be on. She said (loudly), “Talk to AA customer service, not me!” I could certainly tell serving customers was not important to her. Our new flight was set to a completely different city. We had to change our rental car, and the price went way up. It took 2-1/2 hours to get checked in. By then our new flight had left. We ended up on stand by and had to split up the family to get to our destination. It cost us the whole first day of the trip. AA needs to employ people who actually care about doing a good job. I suppose those people are getting harder to find, but atleast try.
There were five broken seats on the plane. The crew was very rude in telling people they had to get off the plane and get a flight the next day. No call for volunteers, but telling people they had to get off. One woman was flying with her elderly mother and daughter and was told she had to leave or all three had to leave. Fortunately, a volunteer offered to stay. The situation was handled poorly.
Too tight connection. Lufthansa staff pulled 12 of us out of passport control that had tight connections and took us about 1/3 mile AWAY from our gates and put us in another slow, long line. Needless to say all of us missed our flights and the Customer “Service” staff was rude and not helpful at all. Was rebooked from a direct flight to one w a 6hr layover. Asked about an other option that was on my app and was told to book it myself online (which would be $300 extra pp!!). Got rebooked again w a tight connection which was also missed. Rebooked into middle seats that didn’t recline for 9 hr flight!! No compensation (and we paid for seats!) Ended up taking 26hrs to get home from Europe to North Carolina! No longer a fan of Lufthansa—2nd time having these kind of issues w them!
flight was half full, plenty of empty seats, was able to lie down across 4 seats, food was good, arrived on time
Excellent service. The crew goes above their way to make the customer comfortable.
If the plain wait for the passenger it should wait for the baggage!!
It was great. The airline staff was very friendly. The FRA security was a bit harsh doing their job but friendly overall.
Check-in was very disappointing. My Seat reservation was no longer honored which I had for several months. Supposedly the monitor was damaged and the seat could not be issued. In the lounge I checked again and the seat had been assigned to someone else so I could not sit next to my wife and no other adjacent seats were available - except right in front of the bathrooms and galley. Very disappointing practices for business class!
Horrible. My gate did not get updated with our boarding pass. We didn’t receive any communication regarding gate change. Also not enough time was given in between flights. Zero consideration for people who are coming from abroad and have to get through customs and US border patrol
Overall experience is mediocre and the food was poor. I would avoid Lufthansa next time.
The smell of vomit from the previous flight was overwhelming for a 9 hour flight. There must be a chemical or product to kill the smell before the next flight boards??!!!
