Safe and easy travel. It would be nice if the trays were wiped done after every flight. Pain that we have to clean them ourselves
Direct flight canceled. Rebooked on another for same day with a layover in Montreal. Arrived in Montreal to discover the second leg was cancelled and no options to rebook until Tuesday (original travel was for Sunday).
The flight took off three hours late and we missed our connection. Boarding the plane was nothing short of controlled chaos. Nobody adhered to the zones for boarding, and there was no way to line up in the required order. Seats were uncomfortable. Not a great way to spend 6-7 hours.
Charlottetown airport is wonderful. Montreal was a bit confusing & overwhelming but the Air Canada staff were helpful, patient & kind. I’d fly with them again..

I gather after some other passengers disconnected. Clearly the system didn’t have enough bandwidth to support all 350 passengers. and why no wifi?"

Cons: "Air Canada try their best to charge you for anything and everything! Including services that I just take for granted on other airlines (such as entertainment). Never booking AC again"
Pros: "The flight was uneventful, lucked out with exit aisle."
Cons: "Boarding took way too long. Typically an airline will ask people to voluntarily check their overhead luggage free of charge if they know it's a full flight, not on this flight. Instead, they tried to get everyone to board with luggage in hand, then once they realized there was not enough space they asked people to hold on to their luggage while they came through the plane to tag it and stow it below - very inefficient and made the boarding process crazy as people tried to make their way around luggage that was sitting in the aisles."

Pros: "I liked how the crew was helpful and wanted to help everyone with their luggage. they didn’t disturb me in my sleep and didn’t walked around a lot. The flight timing was on time and it landed on time as well so that was very satisfying."
Cons: "I didn’t like the sitting of the airplane. It looks more like sitting in a local bus and its not very spacious. On an average these days most people in Canada are tall and above the height of 5’7 feet. I didn’t like how seats are small and have less space for legs and plus the next person to me keep disturbing me cuz he was as tall as me and we both hardly fit in the seat. I am only 6 feet and slim and still had issues. I mean for domestic flight that’s only two hours I can manage sitting in a uncomfortable position but if it was a long flight then i would definitely not be happy and won’t fly with Air Canada again."

Pros: "At fisrt the flight was over booked. Once we had boarded their was a technical issues with the aircraft, we had to sit in our aiys with nothing to do for just under 2 hours. With this delay in mind their was no form of a free drink as a mini compensation. They had no choice of food."

Cons: "My daughter's first trip to Canada, with a brand new suitcase. By the time she arrived in Canada her suitcase was lost. Then ended up in the London Airport even though she flew into Ontario. When she picked up the suitcase it was wet and missing one wheel. On the return flight to Tampa when the suitcase arrived it was missing two of the four wheels in the corner was completely ripped off which was exposing what was inside. The handling of the suitcases is awful and she should receive a replacement suitcase"
Cons: "we pre booked seats at #14 because our daughter cannot walk without help, we took her to and from the plane by wheelchair to make it easier, they bumped us to seat # 32 , the very last one, that is a long walk, at check in the woman there was rude when we told her of our situation and that we had seats, she said there was nothing she could do because the plane was full, she was not very helpful at all, and asked if we wanted to take another plane. Our whole family has been traveling with air Canada, but I think it's time for a change. Very disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Cons: "We had to pay for snacks. Snacks should be included in the high price of the tickets (about 500 CAD $). We ordered and paid extra for food snacks, but some of the items were not available even they were displayed in the food menu/catalog. We asked for a blanket for my daughter who was sleeping but Air Canada didn't have any blanket !! After we boarded, we realized that we didn't have space to put any hand baggages ! We are a family of 5 and we didn't have space to put even one hand baggage! Unacceptable!"

Pros: "India ( flight attendant) provided very poor customer service during flight. I have been a nurse for 24 years and i simply asked for a cool cloth for a gentleman sitting next to me that was feeling ill and very pale. India returned with 5 emesis bags and no cloth and never once came back to check on the gentleman!!! I really wish it was not a full flight because i would have advised him to puke all over everything. How hard was it to provide a cool cloth?? Really? I know first class has wash cloths and that was an easy request. And the fact that she never came back to see if we needed anything or to tell us she did not have a cloth for him. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I will think twice about flying Air Canada again. Thank god for good citizeans willing to help strangers in a time of need."

Pros: "The Air Canada agents and staff were very helpful and accommodating to the best of their ability. I hugged one female AC Agent in TO as she was so kind and helpful, and told her she was the highlight of my day."
Cons: "The processing of Air Canada passengers to the connecting Gates and through Customs for USA international flights was a nightmare. It was very disorganized, with hundreds of passengers herded like cattle, poor communication, customs slips not provided on the AC Flight before landing so as to be completed in advance. There was staff shortage, and not done in a timely manner so as to make your connecting Flight. It has truly been a most stressful experience for me this and each time I have to go through Toronto to make a connecting flight , and I will avoid this flight plan in the future at all cost."

Cons: "The flight was horribly delayed and my plans and onwards transit was seriously affected. I missed my connecting flight from Toronto to New York and as a result, my plans to proceed to Boston was destroyed. When I spoke to the agent in Toronto, to route me to Boston, she told me that Air Canada's contract with me is to a place and not necessarily at a particular time. That was unbelievable. I arrived New York stranded, at 1:30pm, with no ability to continue to Boston. I had to spend so much money to get me to Boston. It was a horribly long day. Over 25 hours on the road, counting when I arrived Rome airport and when I finally got home."

However, the Air Canada lounge at Pearson was shabby and poorly outfitted. Shameful."

Pros: "I purchased a ticket for my 18 year old dog $ 125.00 each way to fly with me to Kalispell and back. She is so old that she can not SEE, HEAR, or BARK any longer. I understood she needed to be under the seat for take off and landing but I was told by the ticket agent and flight attendants on my first flight that she could sit on my lap during the flight. Everything was great on the way there. On the returning flight,.... the flight attendant was so RUDE to me. She saw that after we were airborne and at a steady altitude, I brought my dog "Kacey" up into my lap. She immediately raised her voice and stated the dog needed to remain on the ground. I politely explained her condition BUT she refused to listen to anything. I put my poor old dog back under the seat. After approx 20 min I could hear her patting very loud. I lifted her again and asked a different flight attendant for some water. She was very hot on the floor. Or course, the flight attendant saw my little chihuahua drinking the water and said that after she drinks a little more, she must remain under the seat. By now, my husband is getting annoyed. He tried explaining to the flight attendant the medical needs that my dog has " she's on protein shakes" which were approved their security. and how fragile she is. She can't BARK, SEE, or HEAR. Yes, we will be putting her down soon but we took her to Montana for my daughter to say her GOODBYES!! Sorry to say, but that flight attendant has turned me away from UNITED AIR LINES forever. Got to the airport & our seats were split up by desk clerk & she didn't even inform us of seat assignment change. She also put 2 of us in the Exit row without informing us. Did not know we were assigned to Exit row until we boarded. Our overhead bins were full with other passengers carryons. This should not be. Why can't passengers use their own overhead bins. Stewardess would not help us, she said find a spot up front, if not you'll have to check carryons. Terrible."

Cons: "New screens are nice, but $8 to watch TV for a couple of hours? Take a hint from JetBlue, United, STOP NICKEL AND DIMING CUSTOMERS! This on top of there being two solid rows of economy comfort seating open, and not letting us move back one row to the economy comfort seats since ours wouldn't recline because they were in front of that exit row. On United website, it would've been $25 to upgrade each seat (not horrible), and the flight attendant told us we couldn't when we asked that they were $100+ seats and that there's nothing she could do. Thanks United. Guess I'll go back to being a JetBlue customer."
