The crew was kind and helpful and the movie selections, food, and seats were all great.
I didn't like the food
Staff and flight were great. We were surrounded by kind of rude flyers. They complained when my husband moved the seat back. And they were just standing in the aisle most of the time. Person in front of me stretched her arms over the seat so her hands were dangling in front of me and fingers in my screen. I know we were in coach, but maybe another inch of separation would be nice for such long flights.
Lufthansa arranged for pickup with a van upon disembarking from my late flight from Pisa and took me through a special passport and security checkpoint so that I was able to catch my MUC-SFO flight. Flight departed late, but pilot made up all tge lost time in flight. Crew was professional, very polite and efficient.
We liked that no one was sitting behind us.

Was not offered snacks or food. Usually when I take united to california, which is a shorter flight, they give out pretzels or something. Was not even offered the chance to purchase breakfast.
Courteous crew. Smooth landing. My only compliant is that we have to purchase in-flight wi-fi. I find this unacceptable, especially because the airlines charges upwards of $80 for an Economy Plus seat and then one needs to $26.99 for wi-fi for the duration of the flight.
I liked the check-in and waiting area at the airport.
I did not like that we had to walk so much to the new gate assignment.

Flight crew was pleasant and attentive. Seats were comfortable for economy as well. We were allowed to check in extra baggage for free at check in which really helped since we would be catching a connecting flight in Amsterdam
From pre-boarding, to boarding, to the food, and the attentiveness, everything was top notch! The cleanliness of the plane was only topped by the friendliness of the crew.
The flight was marked at almost 11hrs but ended up being only 9...not a negative other than it meant not spending as much time on board!
Per usual, KLM can't seem to figure out the order of boarding the plane. Should be business - priority - everyone else. Instead they do priority first, and that's usually two-thirds of the passengers. Strange choice of in-flight movies; no accounting for taste, I guess.

Very high decibel high pitched noise from engines as we taxied to gate in PHL. VERY annoying. Lasted over 5 minutes. ALSO, i didnt need to print out own boarding passes. You could fix your website check in px.
seat and seating was nice, boarding was efficient, movies okay
while the dinner was okay, the stromboli which came as a snack of sorts was terrible and caused me to be "on the run" for the next 12 hours. the last five hours of the flight and then at home were awful
Crew was outstanding

Everything. Had to sleep overnight in airport and was late coming home.
First Class seating was of course better than economy.
Flight to Maui had no Mai Tai drinks available, no heated towels, no dessert, barely any service from the flight attendant(s).
