Cons: "My son was flying on United from Colorado Springs to Denver, then on to Seattle for Thanksgiving. He rushed through as quickly as he could, but the door to the place was closing and it left 10 minutes early. United recorded him as a 'No Show', and there policy now is to cancel the entire ticket is you miss any segment of a round trip ticket. Thus, his entire $900 was forfeited, he couldn't even pay a change fee to catch a later flight. I hate American, and now I hate United just as much. These airlines shills have been allowed to go out of business when they last filled for bankruptcy. We fly in quite a few international airlines, and outside of Alaska, Jet Blue and Delta, maybe Southwest, US carriers are absolutely bottom of the barrel and it's clear that their employees don't care whatsoever. Will never book again in United or American. I'll try Amtrak before either of those carriers."

Pros: "out stewardess only had 7 people on the flight so she spend time taking care of us. I'm not sure how things will go as this was the maiden flight.. but getting into watertown from BWI in 5.25 hours was really nice!"
Cons: "overall price. the flights to ORD from BWI was a little high. Having this airline advertise outside so that I could have flown cheaper to ORD and known about this connecting flight."

Cons: "For an almost 6 hour flight, they chose a very small plane. Probably because they didn't sell enough seats on the flight so they downsized. Anyway, lots of people who boarded towards the end weren't able to store any carryon luggage. And as I listened to the crew talk to them, they weren't very nice about it. Sounded as if they were saying it's the passengers fault. We are allowed 1 carryon and 1 personal bag. For any flight that is longer than 3 hours, I believe the airlines should at least allow passengers to have 1 free check in. Then maybe we wouldn't be trying to carry everything on with us. Our flight to Hawaii wasn't very comfortable either. We had purchased economy plus but it didn't seem all that comfortable. Maybe because it was a smaller plane. I think it was a 737, not really sure but it had 3 seats on each side with no middle row. Food is for purchase! Outrageous."

Cons: "No in seat screen for movies. Only if you had your own personal device e.g. iPad. Also access was not working consistently across the plane. Was told that only a certain a certain number of seats could access the in flight entertainment system at one time and "to keep trying" and "hopefully someone will drop off soon". In the end they acknowledged the issue and told all passengers to go online for compensation which they honored immediately."

It would seem that United ticketing would be able to put someone who is visibly too large for a regular seat in a row of their own when there are empty seats....don't leave it up to the paying customer to uncomfortably have to say something ..... have someone sitting on you with their elbows in your side"

Pros: "TSA forced me to be sexually fondled. Then the flight was over booked. My connecting flight was delayed. My last flight was also delayed by over three hours. Rather rude customer service agents. Joseph in Dulles was the exception however."

Pros: "We were early for our flight. The flight was canceled 30 minutes before boarding, with no reason. United handed us a card and told us customer service would help us. Although we were booked on a flight the next day, it was on AMERICAN with a connecting flight. We waited in customer service line for an hour, to be told we would get only a discount on a hotel for the night. Not 100% paid for. We then waited another hour to be told our bags were already at our destination. No food vouchers. Just a goddamned headache. Horrible."

Pros: "I was late to get to airport-- the airport is small-- I hauled and managed to get checked in and got to gate 15 minutes before take off. There was no one at the gate door. I went to another gate and she tried to call the attendant at the door. She didn't respond because her phone was at the desk. I was frustrated I didn't get on while I could see she was talking with people at the gate and in the airplane-- but I should have been there earlier. That said-- she came out and was incredibly helpful-- she managed to get me on a flight only an hour after that one and I didn't miss my connecting flight."

Since Redding always flys to San Francisco, they should have a little cart with someone there serving everyone with flight delays. San Francisco is always going to have fog. Would have made the disappointment with flight delays not so bad"

I still had to spend the night at the airport, and missed a 10 hour day of work due to no other flight options. All I received was a verbal apology. Glad I paid for a flight to a one night stay at Denver airport and back."
