The juice offered for the short flight was welcome.
Traveling partner did not have a seat assigned at check in, and even though we got to the gate an hour before boarding and asked to be able to sit together, either they forgot or were unable to make it happen. Seats assigned at checkin seem standard now, so not having one is unsettling.
The flight was on time. The stewardeses were very helpful and curtiouse.
Paid $600 for the better seats and they refused to give a full can of soda. Didn't get much of a window seat, the window was closer to the person in front of us. There was some guy on the plane in the same section as me and my husband and they gave him full cans so I guess it's who you know. I couldn't even eat the food, it made me nauseous. They arrived 30 minutes late and we almost missed our next flight. They didnt even ask for those with connecting flights to be let off first. Checked luggage handle was torn off by staff. Not worth the extra cost or going out of my way to book with Hawaiian. I won't go with them again.
I didn't eat or feel drawn to any of the movies or entertainment offerings.
Boarding was a breeze, seats were comfortable, crew was friendly and responsive, plane was early to destination and the flight was smooth.
The food seemed old and the promised entertainment package was not available. These are minor matters to me as the point is getting safely to our destination.
Such a comfortable flight. No complaints at all.
The stewards were friendly, attending, available, and professional. Very nice to have complimentary earphones, eye mask, spirits, pillow and blanket. Pilot kept us informed. The veggie meals were very tasty and filling.
Was pleasantly surprised on todays 5pm flight which included a yummy crackers and dip snack - as well as a drink (I went for a Corona!) Nice end to the day!
Crew extremely friendly
Everything worked out beautifully even after I missed my connecting flight. I was rebooked on Virgin and ended up with three open seats. Great flight, good food.
Need “brown” paper towels for the bathrooms, not just facial tissues.
You left me stranded in Bali and wouldn’t rebook me. You wouldn’t give me a full refund. You made me purchase an entirely new flight with a different airline. I spent FIVE hours on hold waiting to speak with a representative. I will advise anyone I know to never fly China Airlines
Cabin crew was wonderful and very attentive. Smooth flight with good food. 787 Dreamliner for a long haul 13 hour flight. First airline where I see the cabin crew clean the lavatories mid-flight! Overall a great experience.Would fly again.
Have to take a. Bus to the air field to get on from airport terminal
