Cons: "When I missed the connection from the first leg of my flight and purchased the ticket from that leg to finish my itinerary, Lufthansa cancelled ALL of my return tickets. Both Lufthansa and my travel agency pointed the finger at the other and I had to purchase another $1000 ticket to get home. There was no cancellation emails or any notification. I didn’t know my tixkets were cancelled until I was trying to check in. Worst experience ever!!"

Pros: "I can’t say enough about the Lufthansa staff- we ran to our gate because our connecting flight was late, and we were greeted by a warm and smiling face who said “It’s alright, don’t run, take your time, we’re waiting for you.” Onboard the crew was phenomenal- Every. Single. One. I have always felt as a burden to crew if I asked for extra water or an extra blanket- not on this flight, not with this crew. They came around multiple times per hour during an 8hr and 20min flight, offering various beverages and checking on everyone. I can’t thank them enough for how caring they were to everyone on board. The captain as well was very professional and had a kind spirit when he spoke. Best experience I’ve ever had- (and I travel multiple times per year!)"

Cons: "between lunch and supper snack one isle had only one water serving and my isle had none. So for 6 hours we had no water serving. This is why I gave crew rating OK only. Also the supper pizza snack was horrible. By comparison, United gives full drink cans so they last longer. I suggest Lufthansa also should serve full drink cans in long flights."

Once I got to the airport there was a wheelchair at the gate and it was great because we were on the opposite side if the airport for our next flight and he was very nice to talk to as we were walking."

Cons: "My connecting flight was very close in time and even when I told a stewardess while I was exiting the plane, she made no effort to get me any help to arrive at my next gate faster. This resulted in my having to run to my gate after waiting on the long line at customs and I barely made my flight. Had I not been as physically able, I would have missed my flight even at my normal fast-walking pace. This should not have occurred- I should not have to run to my gate from one flight to another especially when I raised this concern to an employee of Lufthansa as well as a customs officer."

I had to call them at their Amsterdam office to arrange a different itinerary, only to be emailed in the middle of the night with the news that that itinerary was no longer available, and a replacement one would cost much more. Sadly, I was not able to deal with Lufthansa directly. Doubt I would use vayama again."

Pros: "I notified the crew that I would have a very short time upon arrival in Madrid to catch my connecting flight to Santiago. They transferred me to a seat close to the front so I could disembark faster. That allowed me to reach the gate as the boarding began."
Cons: "The company handling the check-in for Iberia is inept. The line reserved for baggage drop-off was used to prioritize check-in for a large group, making the benefit of online check-in meaningless! Also, the supervisor who intervened on my check-in issue lacked basic customer service skills!"

Cons: "Hanging flown on several wide bodied aircraft, it’s been my experience that the A330 has a much better coach experience than the 777 aircraft models. For me, it’s a matter of legroom). Fortunately, I didn’t have anyone next to me on the flight and was able to spread out a bit (I’m 6’5”!!) My only other complaint was that while this was booked as an Iberia flight, the flights were all serviced by American Airlines. Check-in, seat selection were all handled by American. It was a little confusing in the online check-in process, because for months, the AA app wouldn’t recognize anything but the return legs of the trip using the record locator provided by Expedia."

The flight attendants didn’t care about seat assignments so they put people wherever they wanted, causing issues when those people were in others seats. No in flight entertainment (zero stars). No complimentary snacks; had to pay for everything. Decent selection of food. The entry attendants were inconsistent with hand luggage size and took my correctly size soft bag to check but allowed larger hard luggage on the plane."
Cons: "When I purchased the ticket I was never told that there was no allowance for luggage. Usually, this flights give you @ least (1) piece of luggage for free. In this case they charged the first piece 50 dollars and the second one $200.00.- After I paid 1500 dollars for (1) plane ticket , it is unheard that there is not even one piece of luggage for free. When I booked the flight there was nothing on the site about this. This was my first and last time buying a tickets from you guys. The fact that the fare was 200 dollars cheaper than other sites, ended up costing, 300 more. Never again with you guys."

One of my worst experiences flying in the last 40 years."

Iberia offered to check in my luggage so i can pick it up at my final destination, but my bag never made it. Had to wait two days woth no clothes or work items i needed in my luggage. Overall a very bad experience with iberia"

Pros: "Not once have I had a positive experience on American Airlines. I actually booked this ticket 4 times before finally receiving a fully confirmed itinerary. Only to get on the plane in SLC and sit on the tarmac for 90 minutes causing me to miss my connecting flight. The replacement flights I again missed because American couldn't find anyone to give the travel voucher to an airport an hour away for the replacement flight they booked. I've never seen a more consistently incompetent company."
Cons: "On top of all of this, my bag is lost. I'm at my destination and have been for two days and American airlines all can't get me my luggage so I can start my vacation. This is the biggest joke of a company and I'm disgusted with their lack of accountability, responsibility for the problems they've caused and the insensitivity they've shown for their screw up."
