Over 2 hours on hold only for United to tell me to call back inside 24 hours of my requested departure (which was about 12 hours outside of the time I called). Bad customer service all around, both Kayak and United."

I don't think I will do a mixed airline flight again even though they quote them as a Star Aliance. Also, flying through Chicago ORD is not great. The international terminal is completely separate so you have to take a train, pour out water, enter security (and they don't have a TSA Pre). All around uggh."

Somebody vomited into it at the previous flight and placed it back to the seat's packet. I am not telling that it was the cleaning crew's mistake because it looked like unused until I pushed my hand into it, but it was still a very unpleasant experience and could be also a health hazard."

That was no problem. But, after plane left we sat there until it was time for us to arrive before ground crew came out. Then, we waited 20 minutes for our baggage. That was not your fault. That was the fault of the airport as it has happened to me before. The pilot was very apologetic and kept us informed. I appreciated that very much."

I selected seat by window that had no other passengers listed in the seating aisle but somehow in the short period of time I upgrade & walked to gate a middle eastern family with 4 kids, none over 4yrs of age happen to book the seats in my aisle. It was not comfortable & definitely not an upgrade worthy of the xtra $ having kids kicking my chair, yelling, & crying majority of the trip. Had an extreme migraine when finally landed in Houston."

Cons: "They take nickel and diming you to the extreme. Buyer beware, absolutely everything is an add on, from carry on luggage, to picking a seat, to soda served on the plane. By the time you add it all up it's more expensive that the other airlines. And what's terrible is that they aren't upfront about all the extra fees and so for someone who hasn't flown them before it's an up charge every step of the way. If you are going to nickel and dime customers at least make that clear at the beginning."

They did not treat us professionally as well, complete lack of respect . This does not cost money to the company to improve."

They would not let us cancel our reservation and they promised us a $50 voucher, that never came. very subpar, and with the state of air travel these days that's saying a lot."

Cons: "Delays and sitting on runway for an hour before being able to deplane r& also in a departure take off. To ocramped.!!!! Charging baggage fees. Totally uncomfortable!!! I was miserable"
Cons: "took 5 flights on a XC trip in two weeks. 4 of the 5 flights were late/delayed."

Cons: "We had a three hour delay in Denver due to crew. I am leaning towards not booking with frontier anymore because of this continues issue. This is the third time I've had this issue with Frontier in less than 3 months."
Pros: "Nothing stood out as exceptional."
Cons: "EVERYTHING costs extra. Checked bags cost, carry ons cost, selecting a seat costs, and everything but water costs! Not even a complimentary juice or three bite snack bag. No TVs or wireless. Not worth it considering they don't offer anything that you can't get somewhere else."
Cons: "I don't like getting nickel and dimed. Baggage charges are standard nowadays, but I was shocked that I have to pay to carry a bag on the plane AND it was more than for a checked bag. And I had to pay for an assigned seat for each leg of my trip. Wow! My first and last Frontier experience."
Pros: "Cleanliness"
Cons: "Very uncomfortable. Wouldn't want to fly a longer flight. When we exited the plane we were stuck in the hallway between the plane and the airport door for 20 min. There was no one to unlock the door. Passengers were starting to panic. Someone called 911 to get us out. Terrible experience."
Cons: "First of I got double charged for my bags second flight delayed for no reason n seats are extremely uncomfortable we arrived n we stuck in the airport for 30 mins no reason bags took an entire hr so I just left my bag"
Pros: "Fast and easy frontier employees are very helpful"
Cons: "They don't take cash with foods and drinks and my card wasn't working"

Cons: "Hate the new seats that don't recline and don't have the flaps on the headrest. Had to wait 15 minutes on the tarmack before unloading, due to a repair call for the previous airplane for our gate."
Cons: "I purchased my ticket through KAYAK-assuming that meant I had a seat on an aircraft. Oh no, when one checks in for their boarding pass, you then must purchase a seat for anywhere between $13-$30 dollars. And, wait there's more...you have to also pay and additional $40 for the pleasure of dragging your own carry on luggage onto the plane. I had to pay an extra $65 both ways. I hate scam my, sleepy marketing and will NEVER fly Frontier again! Oh, and if you don't buy the $30 seat, it doesn't recline. And bring your own water because, you cannot even get a water without paying extra. Horrible Experience!"
Pros: "I asked for a seat change and they were so accommodating. In general, efficient but also friendly and elaxed service. I also liked the intercom messages, they explained the reason for the rule."
Cons: "Nothing"
Cons: "We sat on the plane for almost 2 hours once we arrived to Omaha. I had tickets to see Olympic Trials Swimming Finals and missed over half of it."
Pros: "You have to pay $45 for carry-on luggage - this was not made clear anywhere in the purchase process."
Cons: "Being charged $45 for a small carry-on bag is atrocious. Multiple people around me had bags bigger than mine who said they were not charged. My bag even fit underneath the seat. Somehow I was conned into paying. I will never book a flight with Frontier again."
Pros: "The crew was absolutely fabulous. The flight attendants were the most enjoyable and helpful I've ever had on a flight, and I fly a lot."
Cons: "Fees. I know that's how you make your money, but between bags, food, and when I was running late for my flight, I was threatened with rescheduling fee if I were to miss it. Structuring the fees that way (not seeing them up front, being on smaller items, etc.) just doesn't make me a loyal customer. As of right now, I'll only fly Frontier again if the prices are WAY lower, because in my mind I remember the fees...even over the amazingly wonderful flight attendants!"
Pros: "The bathrooms were clean, otherwise there isn't much to write about..."
Cons: "The flight was delayed because an engine malfunction; which discovered right before take off, luckily they caught it. We waited about an hour and the "new" seats are ridiculously uncomfortable and I'm pretty sure they don't recline. Overall would not fly with them again unless the price is right."
Cons: "I wish that the crew had said something about the turbulence, like "oh this is completely normal" or "we're hitting some turbulence""
Pros: "Pricing was very reasonable. Flight crews were, for the most part great, although I was a bit put off by one attendant who chewed gum throughout the entire flight."
Cons: "Severe weather in Denver caused significant delays for departure and while I realize that the weather was the major factor, changing gates several times in a large airport for departure made Frontier look as if they were not prepared for events such as this. On the return flight, we arrived early only to find there were no gates available for deplaning."
Pros: "I loved the flight attendants. They were very warm and kind. They made what turned out to be a very bumpy ride more comfortable for the passengers because they were more expressive about the turbulence than the pilots."
Cons: "The take off was a ride before we even got off the ground. I don't know if it was due to wind or what. The plane was swaying from side to side before the wheels were up...and there was no explanation from the pilots. What I would like to express the most about this particular flight was that I felt the pilots were not very conciencious about expressing concern for how the passengers were doing during what was a pretty bumpy ride from start to finish."
Cons: "It was just so uncomfortable and they had all the hidden fees of Spirit, which in my opinion are very predatory. I wish I knew they changed their model in the past few years or I wouldn't have flown them."
Pros: "Not driving 8 hours"
Cons: "Having to fly to Nebraska lol"
Cons: "I was cancelled due to weather and they could not get me another flight for 3 days later"
