Pros: "I had never heard of Qatar Airways before I booked a 24hr flight to and from Sydney, Australia. I only did this on the suggestion from a friend that stated Qatar Airways was "alright". So for the price I thought what the heck! I was extremely pleased with the service from the cabin crew. They are always polite, professional, and well trained compared to my previous favorites Delta and Lufthansa. The seats were comfortable (as comfortable as Economy and 24hours of flying can be), the entertainment and aircraft were state of the art, and the food was outstanding for airline food. If I get the chance in the future I will definitely choose Qatar Airways for long trips."

Cons: "1. Food - It was not that great, especially if you are allergic to cold. It applies to asthmatic patients like me. You have very limited choices. The only hot item in my whole tray was "chicken mixed rice". Everything else from yoghurt to fruits went waste. Can we have HOT FOODS for people like me? 2. Flight Attendants - It seemed that the flight attendants were not so experienced at handling customers. Plus, several of them had poor English. That would have been okay if they had patience to listen to me slowly. But, they seemed to be in hurry and not wait enough to understand my request properly. I was asking HOT WATER and they were repeatedly handing me COLD WATER. Plus, they could see me breathing heavily and feeling great discomfort. Nobody asked me 'ARE YOU OKAY?". It seemed, they didn't care for customers like me. I found a serious lack of CUSTOMER RESPONSIVENESS, forget PRO-ACTIVENESS among several flight attendants. Finally, I found an example of SNOBBERY in the plane. A flight attendant was asking a couple sitting next to me to fill up the FEEDBACK FORM. They looked like from Middle East but were British citizens. They didn't talk to me even though I volunteered at frist to introduce myself. The lady was especially rude to me. They were dressed like high class folks. That's it. They neither represented the hundreds of passengers, especially Indians, in the Economy Cabin, nor were they friendly to fellow passengers. It left me with a feeling that Qatar Airways attendants were judging a book by cover and asking the wrong persons to fill the form who didn't really represent their majority customers for that cabin."

Cons: "I wasn't able to take this flight due to my first leg being cancelled. However, I did end up being placed on the SAS flight to Stockholm from Chicago, which was an overall nice flight. The only thing I didn't like was the timing of the flight. Because my starting point was from somewhere other than Chicago, this made for a very long and tiring trip. I wouldn't recommend this flight for people flying from places other than Chicago."

It is very important to know since turn around time is very short, and I almost missed flight 8 years ago, and bags did miss it last time. Tks"

I will never, ever, fly AA again. Worst customer service and tons of issues with maintenance, luggage handling, and delays."

Flight was canceled and they put me on different plane, which make my day in San Diego very difficult, because I miss my meeting, I didn't get better seat ither,instead I got seat in front of toilet and for 3 hours have to listen door bunging and terrible smell. I never been compensate for canceling flight or extra seat price.Nobody care even apologize. I hope that was just unforchened incident and I still like your company and still flying with AA, but I was really disappointed. Sincerely Vera Vasiley."

Cons: "Seats are so crowed that you can not move without touching the people next to you. My body was so cramped by the time I got to Chicago I could hardly move. Plus we were stranded on the runway which prevented us from leaving the plane for another hour. It was so hot and stuffy in there. This made for an even longer day because I had a 3 hour drive after getting to Chicago to my home"

Cons: "Flight was delayed by nearly 4 hours due to a cargo loading issue in Mombasa. Communication from Ethiopian Airlines staff regarding the issue & delay was very poor. Passengers were becoming very anxious and tense regarding the flight, if it would depart, and the safety of the plane. Improved communication from the Ethiopian Airline staff would have gone a long way to calming the situation and reassuring passengers."

Cons: "The person who gives information should speak the English language portion slowly and clearly for better understanding of passengers"

Cons: "Flight was delayed so many times, without reason given. On arrival in New Delhi, the airline lost my bag. Everything about this experience was really bad."

Cons: "Boarding was a bit strange - everyone seated at the gate had to get up, leave the area, and then wait in line to have their passports checked before sitting back down in the same area. After that though, boarding was perfectly smooth & honestly one of the fastest I’ve seen!"

Cons: "Technical problem caused massive disruption in flight for all. Missed connections and forced unpaid for overnight in Addis. Truly terrible experience"

Cons: "Besides that the flight was 4 hours delayed and the staff gave different information then the screen, customer service was non existant. There seems to be no structure or system. Gate change was not announced. Staff was not clear or direct about status of the flight. I have had several flights with EA and most have been completely disappointing and frustrating. Forget trying to call anyone, it took me 4 days of non stop calls to connect with someone to change my flight date. Then once connected the credit card system was apparently down and they could not charge my fee. I had to contact the US office while I was in Africa in order to get anything done, ridiculous. They over charged me and would not honor the fees that were quoted on the phone and via email but the head office. Dishonest and no concern for the inconvenience to their customers. This airline would be the last choice, highly not recommended."

Pros: "We were told by United that Ethiopian Airlines does not allow more than 2 checked bags per customer, but that is absolutely not the case. We ended up driving to LA and found that Ethiopian accepts as many bags as we will pay for."

Cons: "When checking in I asked if I'd need to collect my bags and recheck them for another flight. I was assured theyd make it all the way to my destination and I wouldn't need to re-check it. He was wrong and now I'm trying to find my lost bag."

Cons: "Unfortunately, I had to request earphones (which were not supplied in the seat pocket in front of me) five times from three different attendants over the course of an hour and a quarter before I was given them. This was not just so I could watch a movie but because the quality of the plane's public address system made it very difficult to listen to the announcements from the captain and the crew. Listening on earphones I was able to hear everything clearly. Why it had to take so long just to give me earphones I don't know."

Cons: "At Addis airport, they announced first that the trip got cancelled and postponed for another 7 hours. Then while lining up to change my ticket, I overheard people saying that the boarding is starting in 30 minutes and we have to rush to the gate. Then the gate number changed 3 times and the boarding time got delayed few times as well. It was a 5 stars chaos that trip!"

Cons: "Delays, Delays, Delays, 2 hours late !!!!!!!!!"

Pros: "Service & Staff"
Cons: "Toilets always get messy because there are many people flying for the first time and some using a public toilet (or even flush toilet) for first time ever. They need instructions in the bathroom for how to use the toilet, how to keep it clean, how to dispose of trash, how to flush toilet paper, etc. If fly all over the world, but every time I fly from Africa it's the same mess, regardless of airline. Simple instructions would help - they cannot assume all of their clients have used flush toilets when over 80% of Africans do not have them."

Pros: "I did like the overall services. I was comfortable with the crew and was entertained. I enjoyed the night over in the fhoice of loudging with nazra Hotel."
Cons: "I didn't like the quality of food in the hotel panaroma on my return. The hotel needed air refreshner as it wae stuffy and difficult to breath in. The reception was excellent but poor service."

Pros: "Flight crew were very nice and helpful. Plenty of room for carry on baggage."
Cons: "Veg food selections were very limited. A breakfast without meat choice would have been better than yet another rice dish. Some of the more recent movies started in the middle or near through end. Tried to rewind and restart but neither worked The toilet paper was not refilled at the stopover in Dublin and we ran out before LA!"

Pros: "The service, the comfort, the team was brilliant."

Cons: "Customer service was horrible. Cancelled a trip within 24 hours of booking but put me through hours of waiting on the phone for assistance and still charged a 300 dollar fee. Our ticket was somehow suspended BY THEM so we had to call an office in a different country to unsuspeND then we were able to cancel. No help at all and kept dodging responsibility and forwarding the problem to other offices. Would book a different airline to avoid unneeded stress."

Pros: "The inflight music (tons of awesome Ethiopian music, from jazz to pop) and solid Ethiopian beer."
Cons: "The boarding process was cumbersome but I think that's because of the airport not the airline."

Cons: "Addis Airport is terribly organized and far too small for the volume of people they're pushing through it (which is probably the lead cause of the poor organization)."

Cons: "Other travelers kept walking through our aisle, which was not an aisle. Therefore I was constantly getting bumped in the middle of the night waking me up. This area needs to be roped off to make other passengers walk around as to not disturb people sitting in that row. I arrived at my destination completely exhausted due to lack of sleep. Ethiopian Air provides horrible service."

Cons: "They had me sitting next to unaccompanied minor. They did not check on him at all. I had to go and ask them, because the child was hungry. We Could not sleep the whole flight. The wouldn't ask the parents to watch their kids."

Pros: "The remembered to pick up our kosher meals this time. The crew is very kind."
Cons: "Even though the plane is quite new, the seats are beginning to look dirty."

Pros: "The crew tries very hard to please"
Cons: "Toilets were not cleaned during the flight. Seats uncomfortable and much too crowded. Plane is inconvenient for night travel. No personal television."

Pros: "I was prevented to travel , from Lisbon to Rome then the onward connection to Adis and and Juba subsequently , on the rounds of an an error on the booking by which my email address appears in between my name , unfortunately on the very same ticket that i used initiating my outbound trip. therefore i was forced to buy a new ticket which costed me 1,830 euros."

Cons: "An African airline needs at least 85% African entertainment (films,etc.). Orange squash instead of orange juice?!!"

Pros: "the crew on the flight from Adis to Tel Aviv was very nice and helping!"
Cons: "the check-in took an HOUR and was a very bad experience!! we were only 2 people but the woman working there was very very slow, and made a lot of mistakes. if you have some new employee at least have4 there someone to assist him!!"
