Ethiopian Airlines check in staff made a pigs-ear of my check in process. First they claimed I'd missed the flight (my ticket said 2335 on 15 Dec, they changed flight to 0010 on 16 Dec, but claimed that as my ticket was for 15 Dec my booking was invalid). They proceeded to re-issue me with a new ticket a (for the 0010 fight on 16 Dec), but then also tried to change my connecting flights by one day - even though they should remain the same (in effect the flight was only put back by 35 minutes, so why change a booking for connecting flight by 24 hours?). Fortunately on arrival in Shanghai, air china check me onto the correct flight. However, to compound matters, my luggage has gone missing and, bizarrely, Ethiopian airlines issued all foreign passengers with landing cards for Japan - not China!
Packets of lunch rolls were lying on floor, in front of toilet door. Crew cannot understand any Enhlish. Crew understand what is "vegetarian". There is no sugar substitute available. There is no diet coke, Pepsi or any oth r t dirt soft drink. Tea is served vold. Asked for a wheel chair support ... attendants come and tells ... we don't have enough staff .... we will only take ladies. Front row seats were empty .. crew removed the cushions from seats so nobody can use them. ....
Everything and anything about the crew, there mentality and thinking is horrible
crews are not accommodating, doesnt understand / speak english well. Being in international flight they should hire flght attendant who can soeak and understand english well. staff in pv china airport are so rude even the manager in check in baggage. Horrible experience.

- only 2 meals served on a 14 hour flight. The first meal was adequate, although any fresh ingredients; the second one was a very small rubbery omelette.
- 10 hours between food servings!!!!
- no seat back entertainment unit...
I don't know because j never made the flight. I got a completely different time of the flight than what the time really was which caused me to missed the flight. On top of that I was treated rudely whenever I called to get another flight and I was unable to be helped. Additionally I never got a a refund. I am in the military and was out of 1400 moving costs on a flight that wasn't worth it. Never using again
