The boarding agents made announcements that I could not hear due to the very loud gate area. This was my first time traveling to Mexico by plane since the US and Mexico instituted their mutual non-amigo passport requirements. I was unaware that a requirement for boarding was to have my customs document. Gate personnel would not let me on the plane. I was not certain if I had it in my checked luggage, or my carry on, or whether it was gone for good. They suggested I go to the immigration office. When they made that suggestion, I inferred I could go there and come back prior to take off. I missed my flight and had to pay substantially more out of pocket for another flight. Yes, this was ignorance on my part, however, I wish the airline had made a better deal on my flight. I paid $300 RT, which was very good. I then had to pay $400 for a one-way--more than doubling the cost of my travel.

plane is new

they delayed from 04:45pm to like 11:15pm, the worst part is, they never tell you when the flight is gonna take off. so we just waited without knowing if we can leave nyc or not. Landed on mexico city airport around 4am local time, and took another hour to finally get out of the gate. btw, the entire mexico city airport is so smelly at that time. first time here, really really bad experience.

Interjet refused to cancel a flight to JFK on January 4th 2018, JFK was closed that day until the next morning because of a Hurricane Blizzard in NYC. All flights to JFK were cancelled that day, nontheless Interjet maintained that our flight was "On Time" even though this was clearly impossible. They obviously refused to cancel the flight so they could run out the clock on their customers, refuse to re-book anyone, force everyone to sleep in the airport overnight til they could sort out their flights home. We were forced to purchase new flights home on a different airline, at great expense. This is a desperate and criminal manipulation of airline regulations, and we do not accept this behavior.

Very poor policy alerting and supporting customers when my flight was camcelled due to a snowstorm at JFK. No notice. No meaningful communication as to next flight. Had to visit the airport 3 additional times in person before I was accepted on subsequent flights. Phone customer service offered no help accept to assign a useless ticket for 4 days later. Once on board everything was what you'd expect from a budget flight. Nothing more. Seats were basically metal frames with some fabric attached. Poorer then the usual coach class but nothing I'd really complain about. Also if you order through Kayak, interjet treats you differently then direct customers with 1-2 hour hold times on the phone. You become second class. Kayak does zero advocacy and puts all the work of rescheduling and fighting for a seat on the next plane completely on you. Be aware.

Aeromexico puts delta, United, American to shame. Every time I fly with Aeromexico they have on-time flights, food and drinks included, friendly service and excellent price for tickets. No last second delays or flight rescheduling as happens with US carriers. I'll take Aeromexico ANY day over the shitty US airlines. And for those complaining about info not being readily available in English, it doesn't hurt to learn a little Spanish

The whole experience! Customer service was excellent and the staff were very polite, helpful and curtious. We were apprehensive (because it is a new company) we are so happy we decided to book with Interjet. We will be sure to fly with Interjet again!!

We wish you had more destinations. We would have booked our return flight but we are flying out of Merida Mexico. We are considering taking a bus back to Cancun so we can fly back to Vancouver BC Canada but we will wait and see. The check in baggage price seemed high but we take that back as we were both allowed our carry-on without a fee, so $34.00 was more than fair! Thank you for such great service! I was flying to Mexico City on the second day after the snow storm in NY, I couldn't check-in online in advance as its web page said that I had to check in at the desk 3 hrs in advance. When I got to the airport, the line was not very long at the check in desk at first, but moved very very slowly. When I finally got there, I was told my flight had been cancelled and they moved me to a flight 5 days later. While I understand that it is tough for airlines since quite a lot of flights were cancelled the previous day due to the storm, but moving my flight to 5 days later without any email/text communications is totally unacceptable. Or even if they had allowed me to check-in in advance, I could have know the status better before heading to the airport.

I was able to do everything with the APP, from buuing my ticket thru Boarding, which was great since they gave priority boarding to digital pass, like mine and overall easy and fast. I weight around 250 lb and 1.80 height and didn’t felt my seat any more cramped than flying with anyother carrier, actually was quite confortable. Flight time was only 25 mins (as expected) without any delays. Thankfully I’ve never had any bad issues with Volaris even thou it’s a low budget carrier, their service has always been really great for me and expect to pay for everything, but that’s how things are with these kind of airlines, but they’ll let you bring whatever you want on board, wheter you previously brought in your luggage or bought at any restaurant/shop at the airport.

To be fair, Food or Entertainment wasn’t available due to been a very short flight, which is understandable, so there wasn’t any negative issues.

I enjoyed the movies and the accuracy of the flight time etc very much! It was super helpful during long flights.

I couldn’t understand 90% of what anyone was saying due to it all being in Spanish which I found to be a little rude to be honest. You know you have a lot of English speaking only people on your flights yet you do not make any announcements in both Spanish and English like a lot of other airlines do.

Aeromexico puts delta, United, American to shame. Every time I fly with Aeromexico they have on-time flights, food and drinks included, friendly service and excellent price for tickets. No last second delays or flight rescheduling as happens with US carriers. I'll take Aeromexico ANY day over the shitty US airlines. And for those complaining about info not being readily available in English, it doesn't hurt to learn a little Spanish

I was sent to Sala A & there was agate # 1 there; however, there was a second Sala A with a Gate #1 & from there my plane was boarding by the time I made it to the correct boarding gate it was too late for me to board the plane. I had to purchase another plane ticket in order for me to make it to the United States. It was a bad situation & the employees were very rude. They blame me & the manager never show his face to help me out. He could have at least given me a discount given the award situation. But, the customer service or will to help me was just not there.

Interjet refused to cancel a flight to JFK on January 4th 2018, JFK was closed that day until the next morning because of a Hurricane Blizzard in NYC. All flights to JFK were cancelled that day, nontheless Interjet maintained that our flight was "On Time" even though this was clearly impossible. They obviously refused to cancel the flight so they could run out the clock on their customers, refuse to re-book anyone, force everyone to sleep in the airport overnight til they could sort out their flights home. We were forced to purchase new flights home on a different airline, at great expense. This is a desperate and criminal manipulation of airline regulations, and we do not accept this behavior.

Very poor policy alerting and supporting customers when my flight was camcelled due to a snowstorm at JFK. No notice. No meaningful communication as to next flight. Had to visit the airport 3 additional times in person before I was accepted on subsequent flights. Phone customer service offered no help accept to assign a useless ticket for 4 days later. Once on board everything was what you'd expect from a budget flight. Nothing more. Seats were basically metal frames with some fabric attached. Poorer then the usual coach class but nothing I'd really complain about. Also if you order through Kayak, interjet treats you differently then direct customers with 1-2 hour hold times on the phone. You become second class. Kayak does zero advocacy and puts all the work of rescheduling and fighting for a seat on the next plane completely on you. Be aware.

The whole experience! Customer service was excellent and the staff were very polite, helpful and curtious. We were apprehensive (because it is a new company) we are so happy we decided to book with Interjet. We will be sure to fly with Interjet again!!

We wish you had more destinations. We would have booked our return flight but we are flying out of Merida Mexico. We are considering taking a bus back to Cancun so we can fly back to Vancouver BC Canada but we will wait and see. Aeromexico dis not let me board my flight from Mexico to Vancouver. They said they couldn't clear my name and print me a boarding pass. Stuck at airport for 14hours and ended up flying aircanda to yvr the next morning. Terrible customer service/care. Never flying aeromexico again.

I was flying to Mexico City on the second day after the snow storm in NY, I couldn't check-in online in advance as its web page said that I had to check in at the desk 3 hrs in advance. When I got to the airport, the line was not very long at the check in desk at first, but moved very very slowly. When I finally got there, I was told my flight had been cancelled and they moved me to a flight 5 days later. While I understand that it is tough for airlines since quite a lot of flights were cancelled the previous day due to the storm, but moving my flight to 5 days later without any email/text communications is totally unacceptable. Or even if they had allowed me to check-in in advance, I could have know the status better before heading to the airport.

plane is new

they delayed from 04:45pm to like 11:15pm, the worst part is, they never tell you when the flight is gonna take off. so we just waited without knowing if we can leave nyc or not. Landed on mexico city airport around 4am local time, and took another hour to finally get out of the gate. btw, the entire mexico city airport is so smelly at that time. first time here, really really bad experience.

The boarding agents made announcements that I could not hear due to the very loud gate area. This was my first time traveling to Mexico by plane since the US and Mexico instituted their mutual non-amigo passport requirements. I was unaware that a requirement for boarding was to have my customs document. Gate personnel would not let me on the plane. I was not certain if I had it in my checked luggage, or my carry on, or whether it was gone for good. They suggested I go to the immigration office. When they made that suggestion, I inferred I could go there and come back prior to take off. I missed my flight and had to pay substantially more out of pocket for another flight. Yes, this was ignorance on my part, however, I wish the airline had made a better deal on my flight. I paid $300 RT, which was very good. I then had to pay $400 for a one-way--more than doubling the cost of my travel.
