Find cheap flights from San Jose to Reno from $60

Paid for early bird boarding. We were seated and then the flight attendant pressured us to move because family of 3 had a 4 year old and they wanted them together. We felt singled out and highly pressured. Not OK. If someone doesn’t checkin promptly and gets the C group the FAs should pressure early bird people.

I love the fact that Southwest airlines has a direct flight from Honolulu to Las Vegas and Las Vegas to Honolulu. The only downside was flying on Southwest is they do not provide meals even if they charged you they do not provide meals. They do provide a free snack that consists of chips pretzels cheese and a cookie. They do serve free drink and if you book the premium flight then you get your choice of an alcoholic beverage. The seats are small so if you are not traveling with three people plan on someone sitting next to you.

I've never flown Southwest before and I can say its my new favorite airline.

Plane was a little better as it was not a sold out plane so it was slightly better to sit in the seats but they are making the seats smaller and smaller

Captain Scott and FO Brandon were outstanding as was the entire flight attendant crew. I wish they were on every flight!

One of the smoothest flights I have ever had. Left the airport on time, despite a 100% full flight.

They could have served us 🍺 drinks, said there was turbulence, I must have been on a different plain flight felt pretty smooth to me. ✈️

It was the worst experience because they delayed the flight by 2 and half hours. We were supposed to depart by 3:41 but they did the depart by 6 pm. It was so boring!!

The flight was diverted and departed from San Jose instead of San Francisco. This could’ve been executed more smoothly because after arriving in San Jose it seemed like nothing was being processed correctly as needed for the gate agents to do their jobs well and the flight to leave on time

I’m a first time mom and traveled with my 18mo old boy and it was not a great experience with the flight attendants. They were not friendly or helpful at all. It’s hard enough traveling with a toddler and have people be rude and unkind does not help.

It was adequate nothing special no entertain because flight was short. Crew pleasant.

Good! Although I wish I didn’t have to check my bag at the gate, when I got on the plane there was plenty of room for the bag.

My experience with Alaska Airlines flights is dominated by the fact that today’s economy class is barely humane. Everyone is so tightly packed together that one cannot move an inch for the entire flight…. and if it’s a bicoastal trip, that’s almost five hours of discomfort!! And if you’re above average in height and/or weight it’s absolute hell! Moreover, still all Economy classes are basically the same across airline carriers, it doesn’t matter who you fly with.

The cabin stewart took care of my garment bag and then made sure I did not forget it on my way out. The stewardess gave me water after I missed the earlier service (I was asleep). I received good service overall.

Both flights from NYC to SFO were delayed more than an hour. No wifi, no screens/movies etc. The crew was nice.

Crew was great and did their best to make us comfortable and captain came out at the beginning to announce why the flight was delayed, weather situation up ahead, and kept us updated throughout the flight.

United WiFi is consistently unusable (it can take 10 mins to load a single web page). If you need Wifi to do work, be prepared to lose half a day of productivity.

Awful. I got stuck next to a person carrying a dog and behind someone with a dog. People need to board these dogs downstairs. The cabin is crowded enough with your pets

Packed in like sardines, very uncomfortable. Sitting the aisle my shoulder was rammed into numerous times by rushing flight attendants. Also flight was very cold.

the head jack on my seat didn't work and the power outlet didn't work for my seat

Left 2 hours later for delayed I had to take care a kid with special need since people don’t want to move to accommodate the rest of the family. . It wasn’t bad but that made me upset that people can be that selfish.

For a 22 minute flight all you expect is for it to be safe and comfortable

Flight was on time. Staff were friendly. I paid for Economy Plus but was required to check my standard carry-on luggage due to lack of space on the aircraft. This cost me 30 minutes, unexpectedly, in waiting at the baggage claim. This experience did not meet my expectations.

Airline did not explain reasons why flight was delayed two hours. Explanations were badly needed and rarely provided. Problem seemed to clearly be the airline’s fault and not the fault of the weather or airport.

Kayak does not know that spirit airlines charged me $70 to fly. But the bag check-in was $89 each way. This is false advertising to lure people. Spirit airlines sends bunch of emails after flight purchases to buy wifi, better seats, priority boarding, secure reserved seats. This is false advertising. Up front pricing. I would of flown jet blue or Alaska airlines.

Every interaction the airline seems to want to find a different way to extract more money from you. The second leg of our journey they wouldn't let us board the plane without taking another $99 for a bag we asked about at the ticket counter and boarded with on the first leg of our journey. Horrible airline, poor culture. Not flying Spirit again.

I flew from Las Vegas to Reno Nevada. Airfare was 60 $ round trip. I needed to bring my skis and boots.that was going to be $111 to bring them. Upon arrival they informed me that anyone who has skis more than 62 inches long is charged an oversize fee of $150 each way. Almost everyone over 5 foot five has skis over 62 inches long. So I paid $60 for the flight and $411 to bring my skis with me! WTF

Didn’t make the connecting flight due to a delay on our first flight.

I felt scam to have to pay $50 additional for my carry on luggage which was free for my other airline.

No basic services such as water, snacks. Internet very expensive. Seats were very small, hard and uncomfortable. Alaskan Airlines, my outbound flight to Boise from Orlando, offered beverage service, a snack, and reasonable priced internet, for the same price as my return trip on Spirit. It had more comfortable seating also.

Great value airline. It doesn’t always work out flawlessly but this flight from Vegas to Reno was perfect.

Awful experience. Both flights were delayed several times with weather but also crew members being the official cause. The vouchers are unusable and insufficient ($50 voucher to fly the same crappy airline is a joke for putting me on a red-eye that landed at 3:00 am). The aircrafts were old and uncomfortable (have a real pocket on the seat, for crying out loud!).

It wasn’t as horrible as I would have expected, however, to not provide water and change so much for bags is a ripoff to say the least.
