Pros: "Crew was great"
Cons: "Seat was uncomfortable. Flight was much too crowded"
Cons: "Paid for seats so I could sit with my guy - still had zero leg room. Generally disappointed with the state of air travel in the US - feels like we're being herded like cattle. Would like to vote with my dollars to help airlines that value customers and aren't trying to pinch pennies/nickel & dime us"
Pros: "Crew and pilot were nice while we dealt with technical difficulties and had to stay on the plane"
Cons: "After missing all our other connections, our luggage was delayed for hours, we were only given $12 each for meal vouchers for an entire day of layover, we were not given the upgrade for the seats we originally paid for (nor seats together) only promised refunds. The line for service was 2 hours."
Pros: "During boarding the first class cabin attendant gave me water so I could take a pill I had forgotten."
Cons: "Lav could have been cleaner. Boarding area at airport is small and crowded for all airlines. Stairs to aircraft instead of ramps."
Pros: "Comfy seats with ample room."
Cons: "6 hour flight with only one cookie and two drink snack offer."
Pros: "For being stuck in a small space for twelve hours, they made the experience about as good as you could ask."
Cons: "horrible food and poor service and attitude of cabin crew"
Pros: "the movies selection was quite nice"
Cons: "I have to run to get to my connection flight"
Pros: "With almost airlines charging much more while delivering much less, it was a pleasure to take this flight and actually be treated like a consumer who paid a lot of money to fly. They fed us, gave us drinks, and were generally very nice and accommodating."
Cons: "No complaints, other than I wish I could afford first or business class!"
Pros: "See above"
Cons: "See above"
Pros: "The crew was great"
Cons: "No entertainment"
Cons: "No entertainment and Wi-Fi was poor"
Pros: "On time and quick."
Pros: "We got there"
Pros: "The crew was very cheerful, professional, and helpful. The food was also surprisingly good."
Cons: "The entertainment system failed a few hours into the flight, which is a big problem for an 8 hour intercontinental flight."
Pros: "everything was smooth"
Cons: "Nothing bad about the trip"
Cons: "The flight had no pilot assigned to the flight yet the attendants still boarded us. Then we waited on the plane for an hour before exiting the plane. The attendants gave us little information on flight alternatives and when the flight was finally allowed to board again, they did not announce it and so had I not been waiting close by, I would have missed my flight. It was extremely disappointing but not shocking with all the scandals that have occurred this year with American Airlines. I do not recommend flying with them."
Pros: "Crew was pleasant."
Cons: "Ancient plan with small bins and no at-seat entertainment."
Pros: "Getting home 20 minutes earlier than scheduled"
Cons: "Pretzels are always stale"
Cons: "Agent at gate said overhead compartments were all full and no more room for any bag. So I had to check in my carry on luggage . To my surprise, there had many open space when I walked in the plane. The worst thing was my brand new suitcase was torn. I told the luggage agent the incident and she said they had no liability what so ever."
Pros: "they got us where we were going, so that's good, i guess."
Cons: "overnight flight. temperature set to minimum. no blankets provided. patronizing crew (blankets are "only for business class", because who cares if a few cattle freeze to death in transit)."
Pros: "Nothing at all"
Cons: "Never should have been on this later flight which also took off late. And I don't even know where my luggage will end up. I should get an apology and cash for my troubles."
Pros: "Flight was on time"
Cons: "Since we have an AAdvantage CitiCard and are AAdvantage members, it is disconcerting to have to claim your privilege of 1 free bag and priority boarding each time. This is embarrassing at the gate especially since it looks like we are cutting the line. What good is this "privilege" if you have to assert it every time or hold a credit card in hand with your carryon and boarding pass. This should be included in our ticketing at the time of purchase and upgraded on our boarding pass if we use the damn card for the purchase. It is now not a "privilege" but an inconvenience."
Pros: "We did eventually reach our destination safe and sound"
Cons: "In flight service on AA was very disappointing. This was a cross-country flight of 5 hours at the dinner hour. The plane was full [ as usual these days ] seat space was tight [ as usual these days ], but cabin service was practically invisible. The two stewards made one pass with the beverage cart, and that was it for the duration!! On a five hour flight!! When I went back for a beverage, the stewards were chatting at the rear compartment. This was the poorest American Airlines service that I have experienced in fifty years. I will avoid them in the future. Don"
Cons: "You lost our bag and our original flight was shrunk. Our seats booted without warning. Late to our conference in Arizona."
Pros: "The crew was nice."
Cons: "The flight was delayed due to weather, but nothing can change that. We still landed on time. Many other passengers were complaining."
Pros: "The crews were very kind to young people."
Pros: "Friendly and helpful crew."
Cons: "Not sure why American would fly a plane across the country with no electrical outlets, entertainment options, or food beyond snacks."
Pros: "On time departures and arrivals. This domestic first leg of the flight had fairly good leg room and seat width."
Cons: "- This was an older Boeing 738 plane that American Airlines refurbished. It still has the old style overhead bins and just feels old, - Like on many on these older planes, the power outlets don't work. - No food offered, even for Executive Platinum member. Unpleasant crew."
Cons: "LONG LINES to check in, LONG LINES for customs. Once we got through customs we could not get to the stores or restaurants, so LONG LINE to get a bottle of water. Plane late boarding, so a dash to get to next plane at Philadelphia."
Pros: "The flight was early morning so the plane was basically empty. And the flight was short due to short distance and tail winds. Crew is always friendly and helpful."
Cons: "Plane seats are EXTREMELY cramped. We were early but had to sit for 15 minutes waiting for the plane in our spot to leave."
Cons: "Old Equipment"
Cons: "No issues"
Pros: "The access ramp lessen the risk of tripping over I've experienced with the steps in the past."
Cons: "Corny jokes from the male cabin crew don't improve the flight in experience, we're crammed in like cattle and given a LTA meal and coffee."
Pros: "Flight was late arriving; then 45 minutes late leaving for PHX, creating concern about catching connection. However, once arrived in PHX, the connecting flight was in the same concourse, which was often not the case. So, could easily make the connecting flight. Also, the push by crew to "valet check" carry in luggage was too aggressive, especially since there was ample space to store luggage above the seats, then having to wait 10 minutes or more to retrieve luggage at entryway while being concerned about connecting flights was an example of a poor system for serving passengers when a flight is let."
Pros: "short flight, timeliness, great service!"
Pros: "The crew was very helpful providing updates to our status. They moved us smoothly on and off the plane during the delay."
Cons: "Sitting on the runway for what seemed like hours. The initial boarding was confusing with multiple levels of priority boarding."
Cons: "No food or drinks on this flight"
Pros: "Liked that they let me carry on my luggage and put it in the overhead instead of making me check it like they did on the flight from Myrtle Beach to Philadelphia."
Cons: "Would like the "whole" can of soda."
Pros: "Delays caused a little stress but all in all a good experience."
Cons: "Late arrival to DCA."
Cons: "900$ flight change"
Pros: "I was in group 2"
Cons: "Seat assigned"
Pros: "Flight attendants were very kind"
Cons: "Comfort level was very low. I'm 6'0 y'all and with my seat in an upright posistion my knees were hitting the seat in front of me. My chair barely reclined which cause me to not get any sleep. These two comfort factors made it a restless uncomfortable flight."
