Every country had a little different process for boarding and getting around - most had friendly staff, on point, helping clueless, stressed, & frustrated travelers. I was really disappointed in Atlanta, not a very welcoming or helpful spirit for visitors to US - not all (80% were awesome), mainly those trying to greet and direct through customs. Most hate the arrogant America anyway, don’t make it worse - put your best people on the front lines to help with international relations & show why the US is the best. Put those that don’t want to be here loading bags out back! Sorry for the lecture, but this is any business!"

Cons: "For some reason overweight people like to get the middle seat and then spill over into the adjacent seats. I had to lean out into the aisle to sit comfortably without touching that person. This resulted in me getting hit by every person walking in the aisle or the serviré carts. While I do understand that overweight people have the right to fly, they should pay for the space they occupy like the rest of us. This person literally should have had two seats."

If you had a mediocre pasta dish because there was no chicken left and then you start smelling chicken after, it's really not nice."

Cons: "Was kicked off my flight for some reason. It was not explained to me very well, but I gathered it was from another plane earlier in the day that was cancelled. I don't know how I was selected to be kicked off. The poor communication was very annoying. I stood at the counter for 45 minutes after the airline personnel took my STB ticket, and didn't tell me what was going on. Would have been a LOT more pleasant of they just told me the flight was full, and my name would be called if I was on the flight. Then I could at least sit down, instead of standing there for 45 minutes."

Too many headaches and surprises to justify any discount. We have flown many times internationally and therefore understand things are not always smooth. Cons: "Getting home to Colorado Springs at 11:30 PM, taxiing for 15-20 minutes, and then waiting another 20-30 for checked luggage! Never have I waited that long during and after a Southwest flight! AA could truly learn something from their more modest counterpart. I have all but decided to resume my drives to Denver every other week rather than risk more and more time and poor experiences with AA flying in-and-out of Colorado Springs."

Pros: "Quite new plane, clean. Some of the staff were friendly."
Cons: "Flight was delayed vecause there was no pilot for one hour. We missed connecting flight and ended up with several delayed flights, so our 11 hour trip turned out to be 32 hour long. Also, they messed up with food order, but after some time they managed to bring suitable food from business class. Some of the staff was unfriendly and whining. And our party of three was scattered around the plane, other families sitting nearby too. A little bit greedy company selling seat selection option when they could arrangeit nicely, but just don’t do it in order to get few people to pay for otherwise normal thing."

Pros: "Friendly crew and fast service. They also got out of the way quickly and I was able to use the restroom without waiting too long"
Cons: "We had a really hard landing. I wish these seats weren’t made of concrete so it could absorb some of that."

Pros: "Flight attendants were perfect"
Cons: "Beginning about 5.5 hours prior to departure I started getting text and email alerts indicating a sixty minute delay. Then thirty minute delay. Then sixty. Then none. I had to decide whether ir not to believe the alerts, get some things done and change my airport departure time .... or to disregard the alerts. Flight ended up leaving on time. Why the alerts??"

The customs checking process was a joke! We barely made to our flight running thru that entire airport pushing my mother in a wheelchair. Pros: "It has been a good experience! Kayak kept updating me about gates and terminals for my connecting flights..."

Pros: "I liked that the internet connection was free because I am a T-Mobile customer."
Cons: "Boarding the plane was a bit clumsy. I felt like everyone was tripping over each other since the front of the plane was boarding first."

Pros: "We didn't crash."
Cons: "No safety briefing for infants, rude gate staff, primitive fleet, terrible customer service at all levels."

Cons: "American after 4 hours delay cancelled the flight, AA refused to accept responsibility and refused to book me with another airline (my daughter was having surgery the next day and I was supposed to take care of her) I sent an email asking for them to cover the cost of my last minute ticket with the other airline, and they had refused. I will never fly AA again."

Cons: "My flight was delayed leaving Ft Myers because of weather in Dallas. I got to Dallas and went to my connecting flight and was told I didn't have a seat anymore. No reason given, they just said you don't have a seat anymore and I'd have to take another flight. Complete garbage."

Pros: "For the price I got my ticket for. This was a good deal. I paid extra to upgrade to main cabin extra but well worth it."
Cons: "Got food and drinks and beer at nomadditional cost"

Cons: "Every single bit. Was horrible and the crew was just aweful."

Cons: "We didn't actually take the flight because of hurricane Matthew. AA was very inflexible about the storm and wouldn't allow me to change my flight unless I wanted to fly within a matter of days. Which was impossible for me. It would have cost me more than my original ticket costs just to change the date. Absolutely absurd costumer service in the wake of a natural disaster and I will not be booking with them in the future."

Cons: "The emergency exit row window seats are extremely uncomfortable. Seats don't recline and there is no arm rest along the wall. Also, there were no vegetarian options aboard and the flight attendants didn't make any effort to put together something I could eat."

Cons: "Didn't like the way the flight attendant attitude was to me. No politeness what so ever. Turbulence was scary, from the hurricane coming in. And they no complimentary drinks or snack because we landed go quickly. It makes no sense to even have an in service flight with it only being 45 min fight."

Cons: "The plane seemed old and didn't have the features I expect in first class"

I got there around 11:30pm and my flight wasn't till around 9:45am the next day and so when it came to that time they had cancelled my flight so I got another ticked for around 2pm and they didn't board that flight till around 4:30. My experience there was to much to handle. I was supposed to get to Colorado Friday night but didn't even get here time Saturday afternoon. Really upsetted me because I leave wednsday so I don't have enough time to be with my boyfriend. I honestly don't think I'll be flying American Airlines again"

Pros: "The flight attendants were nice and the plane was on time."
Cons: "I tried to switch my flight to an earlier time. First, they charge $75 (Southwest is always free). Second, the gate agent charged me and let me board, but her boss came on the plane and pulled me off because I wasn't Executive Platinum status! The plane took off with an empty seat and I had to wait two more hours for the first flight. When I complained to AA about it, they sent me a $50 voucher. I don't plan on giving any business to AA for the rest of my life."

Other members of my party that I had traveled with appeared and said they got on the earlier flight because they were looking for people to switch and offering it down stairs where you initially checked in. No body had offered it to me which infuriates me because now I could not go back downstairs through security. I was stuck upstairs waiting for someone in charge to appear. The gate agent arrived 1 minutes before the flight was supposed to board. She told me that it was too late to switch flights and that it should have been done down stairs when I initially checked in. She said they were looking for people which really irked me because no one had offered it to me. She then told me that she gave me the wrong bag tag and switched it out for the correct one. The air port was hot, crowded and smelly. The plane ride was over all okay. We did not start boarding on time (my tickecg said boarding would begin at 12 and we didn't start until about 12:45) and we left a few minutes late. Other than that I was grateful there was a TV on the plane"
