Cons: I paid extra for a window seat I sit down after they squeezed us all in like sardines and come to my surprise there is no window in my aisles it had been covered up in plastic . First making my area narrow than all the other seats and between the plane leaving late and the terrible process of loading people on the plane . Delta airlines was all about the up sale from charging for every bag to charging for internet ,food so on and so forth. Also one bathroom in the middle of the plane ? REALLY ? Out of tissue , paper towels , and tissue one hour into the flight . What in the Hell is going on with this airline ? Won’t fly with them again .

Pros: The plane and flight was fine, as was the crew on board. The crew within the Salt Lake airport could have been better. Not sure if it was the gentlemans first time but overall he and the woman working the boarding were very slow and could have been more efficient. We boarded late (may be out of their control) but when we started boarding there was too much wasted time between calling up the military/people with longer boarding needs/wheelchairs etc. They waited until they were completely boarded and settled prior to calling the next group then spent time fiddling with the sign that splits the boarding lanes etc. Just appeared that there was no sense of efficiency. Polite people though.

Pros: Thankfully I had an Aisle Seat so I could move around a bit. Every seat was taken and it was like a sardine can.
Cons: Very little leg room and of course as soon as we were in the Air the person in front of me reclined his seat all the way back so the Monitor was only a few inches from my face. This was my single major complaint. The food was not great but typical of an American Carrier. The foreign airlines do better on food. The last time I went to Europe I took WOW, the cheapest budget Airline and the leg room was MUCH better. You would think Delta could do better.

Pros: The seats were the widest with the most cushion and padding I've ever had on any flight, I think all their seats were like that. The plane we were on had more leg room than your average flight. Also the backs of the chair were very tall, leaving even mpre head room perfect for tall people . I fly a lot and sometimes my knees hit the seat in front of me or when they recline it shoves the tray to close to you. Not on this flight there was enough room for me to lay back in the seat had the adjustable headrest that went up and down and also curved in to hold your head from falling on your neighbor next to you. Love the fact they had the USB plug-in in front of you. And the crew constantly kept coming through to empty trash and offer beverages. The plane was clean bathrooms in front and back of the airplane. Over all quiet engine and we were above the wings. Temperature good.
Cons: The crew member that was checking in people at the gate would talk so fast we could barely understand what he was saying on the overhead announcement. I was traveling with someone who was hearing impaired so we were unaware of that they were getting ready to board. The electronic TV monitor wasn't updating to say boarding to notify people that would be helpful for the hearing impaired. Or--if a crew member is muffled on the announcement or talks too fast you can't understand or know what's going on. The most frustrating thing for me and my daughter we were both expecting to use Delta online entertainment. There are no monitor screens in the seats in front of us on this plane. So we were able to use our phones, but it would not download and once It finally downloaded we couldn't upload any of the movies. Connection speed way too slow. The warning said there were too many people on it at that time. Also I like it when they offer free headphones for people that don't have them. An example that would benefit people that don't want to listen to loud people on the plane or babies that are crying.

Cons: Everything that could have gone wrong with my flights, went wrong. On my way from LA to Raleigh (through Atlanta), I was affected by the weather conditions at Atlanta. I understand that the weather is beyond Delta's scope of control, but customer service is not. I had to wait in line at LAX for 8 hours to even get information on what had happened, and what solutions were available. The customer service call center was collapsed, and at the airport counters at one point there was ONLY ONE DELTA REPRESENTATIVE serving a line of more than 100 upset customers. This IS Delta's fault, and it is unacceptable. This definitely was under Delta's control, but in order to save a few dollars in overtime for emergency staff Delta was willing to let its customers make terribly long lines, miss their flights, their connections and consequently their commitments. It is disappointing to observe how Delta believes that a few dollars saved on extra staff and emergency measures can offset the irreparable long term damage to its business due to upset customers. My way back from Raleigh to Los Angeles was also a disaster. Without any type of explanation and nothing more than an email announcing the change, the nonstop flight I bought was replaced by a 1-stop flight with connection in Atlanta. This was NOT THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED. There is a reason I paid a premium for a nonstop flight, and Delta did not hesitate in providing me with a less valuable product without any explanation or refund. Delta prioritizes its operational metrics - an obsession to fill and overbook its capacity - over its customers' experience, one again under the foolish belief that short term savings in any way offset the long term damage of disappointed and alienated customers. I will NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN. I will do whatever I can to transmit my experience to everyone I know. At a time where major airline carriers are in the spotlight due to abusive practices (i.e. the United passenger case), I still find hope in knowing that alternatives such as Southwest still put their customers first, over the ethereal benefits that a few-dollar savings in operational expenses can provide.

Cons: 4.5 hour delay so connecting passengers could make the flight. Unacceptable. Maybe the airline ways 30-60 minutes, but no, Copa as a third world airline decided to make everyone wait 4-5 hours. So, rather than arriving at 11pm, we arrived at 3:15 am. Unbelievable from a Star Alliance Partner.

Cons: More of the same. Because of all the initial buffonery when we get to the gate for the connecting flight they us that my wife didnt have a seat and the flight was full.

Pros: The flight from Panama to San Francisco was very good. The only complaint I have is the food, which is too simple and it could taste a little better. All my flights were on time and arrived in time at the destinations. They have an excellent option for entertainment with good movies and documentaries.

Pros: it was nice to actually get a meal. that doesnt happen in the us anymore. i was able to check a bag without a ridiculous $50 charge. the first time i had checked in years and it was very convenient. reminded me of how flying used to be before they all became buses in the sky, and for a very reasonable price. the staff were all very friendly from the gate agent to the flight attendants. also, a free drink is a lovely touch. would definitely fly this airline again.

Cons: On my return flight home, they wouldn't accommodate adjusting my itinerary because I wasn't feeling well. I was willing to pay change fee for 1 layover instead of the 2 layovers on my original itinerary. They wanted to charge me $700 which was greater than my original ticket. So I flew on the original itinerary at started my travels @ 7am on Monday. Flight from Bogotá to Barranquilla w/Avianca airlines was great. In Barranquilla I had a 4 hr layover, checked in w/Copa agent and he said my bag was on plane. In Panama, there was a 1.5 hr layover so I assumed no issues getting my luggage to the correct connection. The flight from Panama was delayed by 40 mins w/no explanation. We just sat on plane. They only played one older movie, plane was old and they did 1 beverage service w/meal for a 5.5 hour flight. I finally arrived back to ORD @ 12:15 am Tuesday. I waited for my luggage in baggage claim for 35 mins. It doesn't arrive and I ask attendant, who brushes me off and says this is the claim for Copa. She disappears for 30-40 mins. I finally see her walking back into international baggage claim (over an hour has passed that I've been in baggage claim) and tell her my luggage did not arrive. She asks me for my claim ticket then proceeds to say "oh yes, I was informed your bag did not make it." I'm upset because it's 1:40am and she could have saved me an hour if she would have helped me when I first asked. I also am curious how an airline loses my bag twice.

The in seat computer system worked very well, easy to use with good choices for entertainment. The staff apologized for the hot conditions during boarding.
Cons: The PA system at the gate was not clear. The plane was almost unbearably hot during boarding. Our first snack on an 11 hour flight was stale pretzels and lukewarm orange juice, but this may have been from my choice of products. The food did get better as my expectations were not that high after the first round. The headphones were mono not stereo.

Pros: Boarding was done very quickly. Unlike the norm nowadays, people weren't cramming every single inch of space in the overhead. In addition, the flight wasn't full so my travel companion got to enjoy a full row to himself while I enjoyed an empty seat next to me to stretch out. The food was very good. The staff came by quite a few times to offer orange juice or water. The entertainment syren was excellent. I watched four full movies on the trip and have in mind at least a couple more for the return leg.

Cons: When I flew to Frankfort, Aug. 5, they served me very good lactose free meals. I assumed the notation would be in my reservation and apply to the return flight from Munich on Aug. 20. Not true! The main courses both had cheese in them and the snack was awful! Some kind of chicken (? could have fooled me), in a tough dough. UGH! Couldn't figure out what was in it.

The crew at the gate was unhelpful making entire experience more streafull than necessary without clear rules how the seats will be assigned (whether we should wait in line or they will call us by names). The flight was 2h delayed in NYC because of the mess at the gate coating me a missed connection to Denmark (not that it was necessary have Lufthansa put any effort in speeding transfer like pick up at the gate, gate information before I left aircraft or even as I approached a desk I. Frankfurt as the conneecting flight was late too). On top of that mess I have not gotten my speciality meal and eintertaiment system was malfunctioning the entire flight. Crew could not be bothered with bringing over water and didn't exactly respond to call button.

Pros: Moscow to Munich then Paris were good flights. When weather in Munich delayed our return take-off from Paris, the crew did their best to communicate. Upon arrival a Luft employee was at the gate to escort 11 of us to our connecting flight to Moscow. She took us to a special window for passport check, then our own train car to the other terminal. Cons: They had overbooked the flight and asked to reroute me. I asked if I would still be able to get to my destination at the same time and to make sure I would have a window seat. Everything from the moment I said yes was a terrible. They rebooked me twice on two different routes when I was in the air. Said a steward would meet me (never happened) instead I was running to catch flights on different airlines in two different airports. The entire situation was disgusting. The running was with all of my luggage. Because of the rebooking I was in the last row of 75 rows on a plane with an additional connection. Every flight had delays creating more chaos for the next flight. The only helpful airline in the bunch was Delta.

Cons: In Boston, the boarding process was worst I have seen of any airlines and terribly organized. Given it was 747 flight, the boarding took over an hour and 50 min behind scheduled start time. The crew did not board until after the scheduled boarding time. No crowd control or baggage control announcements. compounded with traffic on the runway

Cons: I was in the aisle seat and kept getting bumped into by the crew as they walked by. I leaned toward the middle seat but still got hit with the cart, people’s bums, their hips, etc. The flight landed at 4am, so I was tired and really wanted to sleep but couldn’t. Also, the AC was not working during the flight. We were all melting until we started descending. Then, while waiting to get off the plane, they turned off the AC completely. Bad move.

Cons: The flight arrived early but sat on the runway for almost a half hour before we were able to exit the plane, causing quite a number of passengers, myself included to miss connecting flights! Not okay.

The seat in front of me reclined into my space leaving me no room to extract my food tray and to cramped to work on my computer. 3. When buying a ticket no assigned seat. Paid 100.00 extra to select my seat and it didn’t allow me to choose anyway. When I went to select my return seat I had two choices- a middle seat or pay an additional 35.00 for a premium seat. 4. Had to pay 140.00 for luggage with no carry on (70.00 each way) 5. Not going to fly American anymore.

Cons: My flight got cancelled with zero notice and I almost ended up on a 18 hour layover which would have resulted me in missing work. The staff was very unsympathetic and not helpful. There were 10 people behind the counter and nobody could help us. They were all just spacing out. Ultimately, I was placed on the flight, but had to rush to every single one of my four connecting flights. I am a frequent traveler but this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Avianca should be embarrassed to be associated with star alliances.

Pros: From the time we got to the counter to boarding and then the flight, we were treated extremely well and with care. We were brought to the front of the line for preboarding. Everyone used our name and smiled as they provided service.
Cons: The TSA agent was cold and it took a supervisor to ensure our needs were met.

Cons: My husband started coughing really badly. I rang the call button to see if a flight attendant would come and maybe help me. Eventually, after about 6 minutes, he managed to control his breathing and still no flight attendant to be seen. Only after 20 minutes while distributing the meals, one of the attendants shuts the call sign of and continues. This is not the service we usually get from Avianca!

Cons: We were unfortunately stuck on the tarmac for 45 minutes. I ran to my connecting gate but they had already closed it. There wasn’t a service rep at the gate. I walked to another gate and there was a very helpful rep who rebooked me to a nearby city. It overall was disappointing and caused me to get home about 3 1/2 hours later.

We packed in small carry on just so we could avoid the baggage carasol. She could have Easily granted our wish and treated is in volunteer manner like everyone else. But no way.

So the middle seat took up part of my seat, and I feel cheated, because I couldn't use all that I paid for.

Cons: I rarely check bags but this was the second time in the last few months that I have and they were both terrible experiences. Last time, on my return flight home from Phoenix, I was forced to pay $250 for my long sports bag, even though the tag to get there was still on it and my receipt showed that it was the standard fare and was bluntly told the other attendant 'didn't do their job.' This time, after my travel mate already checked in and payed for two bags, when we brought the bags to the counter to drop off, we asked for future reference what the procedure was for AAdvantage card holders to get their first bag checked free. Her response was that she couldn't refund our money. I told her I wasn't asking for a refund and repeated my question - how to do it in the future, to which she responded that we should have come straight to the counter without checking in but all accounts are different and she had no idea what his was. To her credit, she did warm up after that, perhaps she heard how abrupt and unhelpful she was being but it was unfortunate to start yet another airport experience with coldness at American Airlines

No leg room, sat shoulders and thighs touching with neighbors. No meal service, just drinks and pretzels, luckily we ate before departure. Never again!

Pros: They had a great selection of movies, each passenger received a blanket and pillow without having to ask, the crew was friendly and professional, and the takeoff and landing were smooth.
Cons: During the reservation process it seemed that the ticket included luggage, and only when I received the ticket I discovered that I had to pay 30 Euro extra, each way, to check in luggage. The ticket was by no means low-cost, so I don't understand why that wasn't included in the price. Pros: Premium economy was very comfortable on Iberia. Their advertisements are true. We also got a great fare. Checkin at Madrid was pretty quick and security moved right along.
Cons: Getting on the plane was an adventure. Note clear where they wanted groups to go. Food was ok; drinks limited in choice.

From my first impressions, I’m thinking as a passenger is: I just hope the age and appearance of the plane isn’t reflective of their repairs and maintenance work as well.

Cons: I know this is a budget airline, but the customer service was beyond terrible. Originally when I booked this flight, expected departing time was at 14:30 and I booked an earlier flight in accordance with Iberia. We had a connecting flight from Lisbon to Barcelona with Vueling (coshare of Iberia) which was expected to arrive at 12:00. However, it was an hour late. In addition, Vueling insisted we volunteer to check in our carry on bags due to lack of overhead compartment space. Yet when we got on the flight, there was evidently enough space. Thus, while waiting for our baggage, our flight to Oakland was already on last call. We explained our situation to Iberia and their customer service would not help us. They refused to cover the cost of our flight and stated we needed to purchase another flight out of pocket, which was quoted to be $1100+/person! Save your time and money and book with another airline.

Cons: Iberia Airlines The flight attendants on the Iberia section of the flight from Madrid to Chicago could have cared less. The plane was late and the crew could have cared less. They fasten seat belt sign was on way way too long with no turbulence so they did not have to open the bar. They would not serve vodka from the cart and you needed to go to the back of the aircraft for it. Will not fly Iberia again. .

Then a 300-lb guy sits in the seat next to me. So for 11 hours I'm trapped by this guy's huge bulk and it was difficult to move my legs around any; very unpleasant. And I paid $45 to get that window seat instead of my original seat that had been randomly assigned!! I wish that airlines provided a couple seats for tall people, because our height is a kind of disability given the cramped seating (which average height people complain about).
