What is nice is that this airline gives people a pillow if they need one. They include a meal with a two hour flight from Costa Rica to Bogota, all included in the price. The reality is that in 2017 the airline carriers in the US are the worst in the world for their flying customers. The flight from Bogota to Montevideo was good. the seats could be another 2-4" wider. Other than that, for an economy flight, this was a very nice flight.
My sister was not allowed to travel andI had to deplane with her. She had some wine in the VIP lounge and the crew decided they wiuld not take her ti Lima. She tried to appeal to the supervisor but it was imposible. She was not drunk. We believe that Avianca iverbookwd the flight and decide to use this as an excuse. Moreover, she has had bith knees operated in the last year and does mot move quickly and with difficulty. Any way, it was a disaster. Especially because we bought tge tickets whilw Avianca had its pilots in strike and we flew to Madrid on Iberua, because our origibal flight was cancelled.
I liked the free checked bag, the free wine, the way the seats pushed back, and the cup holder.
I don't know why dinner was served on an overnight flight. Who eats dinner at 12:30 pm? It also kept the lights on so it was harder to sleep.
Very comprehensive service. They don’t charge anything extra, the entertainment options are good, the service excellent, the food okay. Much better than most US airlines.
The food choices are limited foe vegans.

The plane was dirty
The crew was very bad serving at first class. I don’t imaging how would be traveling in economic. Some gay call “RAFAEL”
I did like that "new plane" smell. Good pretzels.
Plane was too new; computer system hadn't been set right. Left 45 minutes late, though made up some lost time in the air. Very rude passengers (obviously not the airline's fault, I know). Everyone thinks they should be the first to get off the plane!
