Pros: "Super fast turn around, great in flight crew (Tonya was very nice). Barely any wait time to get my bag upon landing. Love the free beer and wine, of course. The plane was late and we were boarded and in the air in about 10-15 at the most. Ground crew at STS is always good. Flight was fine, a bit bumpy on the landing. Great sunset and view of the full moon."

Cons: "No one would help quiet the screaming 4 yr old behind us. It was the red eye. Offer them a snack since the was screaming he was hungry."

Cons: "They closed the check-in counter 40 minutes prior to check in AND the flight was delayed 10 minutes. So even though I was at the airport a full hour before departure, I was not allowed to check in and I missed the flight. I had to be rerouted through Seattle and got home 8 hours later than planned. Very frustrating."

Cons: "After arriving at the santa rosa airport, an airport smaller than most bus stations, I tried to print my boarding pass at the kiosk, it told me to go the Alaska desk for assistance, easy enough considering theres only 1 desk in the entire airport, however there were no Alaska employees there. I waited, and waited, and started to panic as the flight time approached but knew the plane was literally 10 steps away so I did my best to remain calm. I tried to enter when people started to board, but despite my confirmation number, receipt for my flight and 2 forms of photo ID, the security team informed me that I must get a boarding pass from the non existent Alaska air employees. After waiting for 45 minutes and watching my plain board and fly away, an employee finally showed up and did his best to help me, but also told me its normal for Alaska to leave their assistance desk unmanned, and I should have used the kiosk... Which didn't work. After putting me on a bus to SF airport and assuring me they have a flight waiting for me with united. I was surprised to discover they actually shipped me to an airport 2 hours south, with no ticket waiting for me. After a 24 hour ordeal I finally made it to my destination, and all I was offered for their horrible customer service and "forgetting" to confirm the flight they claimed was waiting for me, was a 24$ food voucher!!!! Wow, a full day late for my cousins wedding, but I got a food voucher! I'm shocked and appalled at their lack of professionalism and will NEVER fly with Alaska again"

Pros: "The ease with which we disembarked. Having two options to exit made it so nice. I was out the door in two minutes."

Pros: "Easy checked bag drop off. Loved not driving to SFO . Easy boarding . The whole experience was great much more relaxed than when I have to go to the city . This is my first time flying out of STS . Loved it ."

Pros: "Alaska Air has consistently been a high performing airline. I especially like that I can print out my boarding pass AND luggage tag online. The staff have been friendly and helpful and the planes are always clean. No wonder they have been top rated for over four years! THANKS!"

Cons: "No window shades...on a sunny day. Uncomfortable, unsafe and difficult to work on a computer. ps, at leadt I got on the flight. This airline is ruthlessly unsympathetic to people that miss boarding - even when plane not full and even when there is a second holding area requiring additional wait time."

Cons: "I purchased an Am Airlines ticket operated by Alaska Airlines. This created some issues in check-in, etc/ process. I was given an American conf # but was not able to check-in online on either American or Alaska airlines. Once I called to get the Alaskan conf # I was still unable to check-in with anyone other than an agent F2F as airport. Additionally, no Alaska flight number information was provide on tickets or confirmation so finding appropriate baggage claim, etc became a hunting exercise. Limited food options or in-flight enteratainment for a long flight (5+hours). Inflight entertainment options were limited. You can use your own device with limited free TV programming. Movie rentals and popular TV shows are $3-6 a piece. Device rental is $10."

Pros: "Premium seating made a huge difference. Even though I am petite, I had a laptop, tablet and work that had to go under the seat in front of me, and I still had plenty of legroom."
Cons: "The seatback offered free streaming of AA entertainment on my tablet, but when I opened the browser and selected entertainment, the only option was to pay $9.95, so I just watched downloaded Netflix episodes. Plus the movies offered on AA streaming didn't look especially good."

If you did not want the meat meal the vegetarian meals on both flights included mushrooms...not into fungi."

I am a million mile flyer with AA, I had the same status on NW, and high mileage on Lufthansa, and other international carriers. At the height of my career I was a 100% road warrior flying internationally weekly The food on this flight was the worst I have ever been presented with."

Cons: "EVERYTHING was poorly handled by AA for this delay. You're at LAX, no pilot? no 1st officer? Where's the planning? And we boarded the plane on time, deboarded the plane, they gave us warm drinks and pretzels and cookies to tide us over. 5.5 hours later? we take off. Nothing AA did was done right for the customer."

Pros: "We were able to be put in an exit row which was great - especially since my husband and I are very tall and it was a cross-country flight."
Cons: "I find it ridiculous that on a cross-country flight they can't even offer pretzels or peanuts. There was NOTHING!!!! I have been on short hops on other airlines and you get something."

Cons: "Delayed 5.5 hours at LAX. Boarded on time, waited at gate for 1.5 hours and then had to get off. During our delay waiting for a 1st Officer, the Captain times out. NO BACKUP CAPTAINS or 1st OFFICERS AT LAX? Then miraculously during our 3rd hour waiting for a Captain they discovered the 1st Officer was going to time out. So, rather than KNOW this while searching for a Captain, they waited for 3 hours and then had to find a 1st Officer to fill in. Result 2.5 more hours of delay. Even the Flight crew was in disbelief on this one. I think we should all get reimbursed and triple miles for this snafu. Not weather or mechanical - just poorly managed time -- BY A MAJOR AIRLINE - INEXCUSABLE!"

Cons: "I did not like that the ticket I purchased was a British Airways flight, but it was operated by American Airlines. The plane was SO outdated....it didn't even have personal screens. And the movies they played were old. I mean the Devil Wears Prada...COME ON!!!!! Also, the food on the way to London was extremely disappointing. I had chose the pasta with vegetables, and it was macaroni and cheese with broccoli. And not good macaroni, but more like the kind you make for your kids."

Pros: "One of us had the last seat on the plane even though they were reserved almost a month ago. However we had signed up for basic economy so that was not a shock. What was a shock was that water was dripping from the top side track onto his lap and he had to use the provided brochures to redirect the dripping water. The steward said it was condensation and that was it. Also, since it was next to bathroom, the smell wasn't great and the small child screaming while waiting to get into the bathroom wasn't pleasant."

Cons: "I checked in my free bags with with my united access in the check-in counter, no issues. I stand in the gate line for Premier access and the gate crew lady asked me to go and pay for a carry on bag in a very loud voice and asked me to get out of premier access line. When I asked her to take a look at my premier access status, she said stop yelling. Then another man in a suit walks in and first word out of his mouth is not an apology, but a threatening "Don't yell". I just kept walking away from this unqualified person lest it goes out of control. United needs to do a lot better. Just because these gate crew people feel stressed out, they should not take on innocent travelers. Instead of putting a customer under a defensive position, they need to learn to respect the customer. United is training their crew in a wrong way.."

I could not sit without my knees jammed into the seat in front of me, and on both legs, Ithe seats were narrow that the people next to me and I were overlapping shoulders - that was a first. Unless its flights in the future are significantly advantageous, United's losing my business. It's not worth saving a few bucks to me to be so uncomfortable."
