Pros: I had to change my flight times three times, and each time they charged me less than 30 dollars (for taxes) and the wait times on the phone were super fast. It was shocking to not lose hundreds of dollars for life happening and needing to change my flight. AND!! I got a free upgrade to premium economy for free!

Cons: We were able to upgrade to a business class seat (row 1) just 2 days before the flight since we had put in a bid a month before to do so if it was accepted. Honestly, the seat DID NOT EVEN RECLINE, NOR DID IT FEEL VERY SPACIOUS! I felt very taken advantage of to only have access to that part of the plane giving us more leg room for $200 upgrade for each seat. When does a Business Class seat NOT recline??? At least my flight attendant was kind enough suggesting that I let the airline know about my unhappy experience.

Cons: My luggage did not arrive on the flight from Frankfort to Athens. The Lost Luggage staff was very helpful, but the process took a long, long time. Then when my luggage arrived the next morning, no one was staffing the Gold kiosk, so it took another hour and a half to get my luggage. (We had received an email saying that the luggage would be available at 7:30; no one was there to provide it to us)

Cons: I never fly United because the spirits aren’t free so I chose Lufthansa. You can imagine my disappointment when it became a United flight and had to pay. Lufthansa you’ve lost a customer here.

Pros: The engagement of the crew. The coffee and cake. The attendant offered to help me with my bag to the door of the aircraft. The same attendant remembered to give me coffee later and provided the stir stick just as I was able ask for one. I felt cared for.
Cons: They ran out of the protein meal selections.e.g. Chicken I think. Pasta with sauce and one small cube of cheese with a little salad does not qualify as a balanced mealThe attendant tried to make up for it by giving me more cheese blocks.

Pros: A male flight attendance made me feel uncomfortable. I sat in empty sit with number 3 instead of 4 and he asked me to check my number on my boarding pass. WIth an extremely directive and dictating tone in his voice he told me YOU SHOULD GO AND SIT to what your ticket says. It is VERY important to be sited, although the seats are available you should be sited where your boarding pass directs you to be.
Cons: I realized that some people of their crew are extremely insane! I have never had an issue like this, with DELTA or AIR FRANCE, or KLM, or NORWEGIAN, or SAS If it was only one persona that I had to deal with, which it was on my flight from NY to Munich I would say , it was coincidence . One person is not a statistical point and accuse the whole Company. But this was repeated on my second flight from Munich to Athens. Then I said, this is not coincidence, it is a pattern that is repeated and not professional . NEVER AGAIN WITH LUFTHANSA is my decision and my recommendation.

The entertainment was awesome - made 8 hours quickly disappear! Will definitely fly with Lufthansa again when I go overseas!

Cons: The flight was 45 minutes late leaving. My connection in Madrid was closing when I arrived. My luggage was not transferred due to this. I almost missed my plane. I am still waiting on my luggage to come to me. I only left Madrid yesterday so hopefully I will get my suitcase today

Cons: Plane was incredibly old for a long haul flight, with no power socket and extremely outdated TV's. Seats were dirty and small. We were in row 34 (middle of the plane over the wing) and when they got to us with the food options, they had already run out of the second choice on both occasions. On the first service, we asked the attendant if the food had any fish/seafood ingredients (due to allergies) and she said no. We then read on the lid of the food tray that there was a possibility of fish traces so my husband could not eat it. When we told the attendant about it she told us they didn't have anything else. Hard to believe there was nothing they could do, we've never experienced this issue before. We then asked another flight attendant if there was any food available for purchase but she said no. Luckily, she was able to find a vegetarian dish that my husband could eat. We're grateful that she found this as the next food service was not until 6 hours later. Sad that we had to ask again, we were expecting that they cared a little more. Overall, BA didn't meet our expectations unfortunately. This was a trip to Europe in which we took 4 BA flights and overall, the experience was of that no better than a low cost. Would have a hard time thinking of choosing this airline again.

Pros: Heathrow is huge and our gate changed during the last hour with out announcement until 35 minutes before the flight. There was a 2nd flight flying at the same time from a different gate with the same flight # with simply an A added which was very confusing.

Cons: Checking into Heathrow was interesting because they have automated systems to bag drop. I always like talking to a person which I could have done but was unaware. I had printed my boarding passes which then was sent to the automated line. That being said I had an issue with my carry on it was a literally too big because of the handle sticking out. So I had to check it. One of the women there was kind and sent met back to the British Airways check in section again to check it. She said don't worry it'll be free. So I went to the assigned line and a woman stopped me and told me I needed to stand with the rest of the people in the checked baggage line not the hand baggage line. I said I was sent to this line. She said well you're going to have to pay if it is too big. I said I was sent to this line because I was told it would be free to check it. Her attitude/tone was rude. Which for me was not ok. I had just landed in Heathrow from Newark and was starting jet lag, plus I literally was able to carry on my bag at Newark. Same company! I was trying my best to be kind but she just kept insisting that I was going to pay for the bag. I then stated that I already had paid for the bag! As I had paid for 4 and only checked 3! So if necessary this would be the 4th bag. Now I would not have had to do this if British Airways had allowed me to tack on my Athens trip to my Heathrow trip. When I found out they could do that they said it would be an extra $1025 to do so. I told them that I would just go through customs and get my bags and put them on the Athens flight. Of course I get to the counter and the woman there was wonderful and told me not to worry that it would be taken care of. So thank you to the woman who diverged a ridiculous argument over the handle not fitting in the cage. Moving forward boarding was interesting as I have never ridden in a train that takes you to the plane on the tarmac. It was a little long and VERY hot as they fill them to the brim and it was a good 10 min ride with people packed like sardines. When we got to the plane boarding was quick and efficient. The seating in that plane was very much like a spirit flight for close to 4 hours. There was a lot of turbulence and the landing was a little hard but that's to be expected in planes.

Cons: I used to live in London in the past, and commute with BA routinely, without any considerable issues. With this in mind, I booked this flight through the american site as I now live in the US. Big mistake. Even though I'm still a BA member and I checked in 24 hours prior to departure on the minute, I had no way of choosing a seat, in fact I had to pay to change my assigned emergency exit aisle seat. Secondly, there was a 5,5 hour delay, due to fog, which affected BA but not Easyjet or Aegean flying the same route at the same time, leaving me looking at all the other passengers taking off while I waited at the airport without any notice from my company. This resulted in me getting a debilitating migraine, for which I had to request painkillers on the plane. For anyone who hasn't done this before, despite how helpful the staff are, there's always "procedure" to be followed and papers to be signed before obtaining tylenol. Finally, when I contacted BA customer service to request a refund for this trip, considering if I had booked with any other airline I wouldn't have gone through all that, I was told it was my fault for not carrying painkillers and they "absolutely do not reimburse" such situations involving the weather. All in all, this was the last BA flight I will ever book and I am happy to go back to the US where customer service has an actual meaning and passenger wellbeing is always a priority.

Pros: The crew was pleasant.
Cons: The boarding procedure was quite confusing with one agent giving verbal instruction but intercom instruction was contradictory. The entertainment for a long haul flight was a bit disappointing, compared to Air New Zealand it is definitely lacking. The comfort was subpar as well with seats lacking adequate cushion. Needing to repeat everything in French!!

Pros: Smooth flight.
Cons: An hour late leaving due to lack of gate staff. Employee called for help but was slow coming to help. Father with a little child insisted that he needed to reclining his seat so very cramped. (He had an empty seat beside him)

Pros: Friendly and quiet crew! Good, because the only thing I could do on the flight was sleep.
Cons: Was not told to download entertainment application until onboard and out of range for the wifi. They also didn't mention having ipads to rent, not sure if they were available.

Cons: No movies to watch, they told us to download their app and we would be able to watch movies. Tried to download the app on my phone without success, then tired to download the app on my laptop, again no luck. The staff had no clue how to help me, really old plane.

Pros: The flight attendants were excellent. The dinner was similar to business class but the breakfast was just a slice of bread.
Cons: The leg room was too small and the seat did not recline enough to have a decent sleep.

Pros: It made it to Athens smoothly & on time.
Cons: There was no movies available to watch. Flight attendant said we need the app to watch movies however there wasn't enough time to download the app before the flight took off to download it in time.

Cons: Worst experience !!!!

Cons: Originating flight was delayed, so missed connection in Montreal and had to be rerouted. After going through 5 airports to reach our final destination, we finally made it - without our luggage!!! To make matters worse, the complete and extreme lack of empathy on behalf of Air Canada's customer service desk was less than appreciated by us.... As it turns out, Air Canada was aware all along that we would miss our connection; however, they still had us board our originating flight. The gate agent should have been conscientious and informed us that the delay was ongoing with our flight being number 22+ on the tarmac to take off, thus guaranteeing our missed connection. They should have rebooked us on another flight from our original destination vs rebooking us upon arrival in Montreal to miss further connecting flights. Very disappointed!!!!! Based on this experience alone, never again will I or my family travel Air Canada.

Pros: The food was phenomenal for airplane food, the best I've had in 100s of flights! The flight was half empty, so taking over 3 seats to lie down was nice :) Very efficient boarding process at the Montreal airport, with updated wait times and fast moving line.

Cons: This was a +10 hour trans Atlantic flight. We walked on and immediately noticed there were no TV screens. I expected that the crew would be handing out portable screens instead which would have been ok but pretty inconvenient. This was not the case. We asked the crew and were told that to have entertainment for the flight we would have to download the Air Canada flight into our OWN devices and connect to the airplane wifi. They also explained that you can't download the app while connected to the airplane wifi so anyone who wanted entertainment had to scramble to download the app while we were still on the ground and Use cellular data! at this point 300 people were either panicking because they didn't have a personal device with them, didn't have a charger for their device and so would have power issues or were forced to use up roaming data because they had non Canadian phone plans!!! At the very least staff should have told passengers about this setup while they were waiting at the gate, so that people would have time to download the app with airport wifi! add to all this the fact that the app was extremely low quality and the options for movies/show were disappointingly dated and limited. This was not officially a cheap low cost flight for my family but the service we got certainly would categorize it as such. Very disappointed.

Cons: Paid extra for the premium seats. When I went to the lounge they were very rude and said I signed up too late and did not even offer for me to pay to get in. Customer service on the phone was very rude again. The Toronto airport also is a hot mess. Some more. TV screens with gate info would be nice

Cons: Plane was so packed and tight we felt like sardines. Even a few more inches of room would make a huge difference. They also added two or three extra rows to the back of the plane. Folks were practically sitting in the crew staging area and literally directly next to the bathroom door. So glad we didn't get one of those seats.

Cons: See above. We never made it on this flight! While we were able to rebook within a few hours the lack of coordination in Montreal was extremely frustrating.

Cons: Did not realize Air Canada Rouge did not have screens at every seat, made the 10 hour flight a little longer. Not a deal breaker and was overall pleased with the flight.

Cons: Old plane. Smaller seat size than comparable airlines. Terrible food: a slice of oily cske, served in a plastic sleeve, must be the new low for an international individual tvs on the sets....hello, step into the 21st century.... And the selection available via your iPad or laptop and their wifi was small, and old...we had paid to upgrade our economy tickets to the next level, and we expected more...the size of the upgraded seats was not great and there wa no foot rest to put your feet on, which is a significant help to someone who flies so many hours and can assist with circulation....

Pros: The crew were Greek and I liked them very much. Other than that, though, nothing good stood out.
Cons: There was a riot in Athens that day that delayed us 2 hours. I arrived in Athens WAY later than expected WITHOUT my baggage. It was still in Toronto and never moved once they made me late for my Munich flight. I did not have my baggage for several days following that and it made my trip difficult.

Cons: The plane was clearly an older plane, there was NO on board entertainment for a 12 hr flight. The food was not good and there was no free wine - which is not normal for international

Cons: Tell customers beforehand that they need to download the AirCanada app to use wifi. One is unable to download the app in flight, and so we are without internet the entire time. I can't believe on this super long distance flight we didn't have TVs to watch anything. I had one on my first and shorter flight, but not the actual international flight portion? What the hell?

Cons: If it's the same airline, why not wait for the 16 people that had a delayed connecting flight.

Pros: The gate crew was instrumental in helping us board our flight when the first leg was delayed and or connection time was only 30 minutes.
Cons: Of all the international airlines I have flown, this was by far the least well equipped for a long haul flight. There was no entertainment (we had to download an app to your personal device beforehand, which we were not informed about until already onboard). There were iPads for rent, but not nearly enough for the number of passengers requesting. The dinner was a good size, but there were no additional snacks, only small sized drinks offered, and alcohol was not complimentary, and a smaller size than what's provided while in N America for the same price. Overall, I was quite unimpressed with Air Canada, and will avoid flying with them in the future, when possible.

Cons: I've never experienced an international flight with so many children who were up until all hours running up and down the aisles. 2 of the people in my group sat in front of two older children (ages 12 & 10, about) who kept kicking their seats. Eventually, they told the father, who separated the girls, but was just as antsy as his daughters. All lights were left on, making sleeping impossible. The crew took FOREVER bringing food and drinks out. The plane was so disgustingly messy - it looked like a small explosion happened on the plane. It was hot and uncomfortable. The flight experience made us nervous for what to expect in Greece when we arrived. Luckily, Greece was cleaner than the flight.

We almost missed the flight, and as a result, the connection to London. If possible, I will not fly air Canada again

Cons: The food countinues to be and issue I flew the same airline 2 years ago and the meal options had not changed. The salad was so bland I was certain that I was eating plastic food.

Pros: The 2-3-2 seat configuration is better for travelling as a duo. We were provided with blankets and pillows for the 9 HR flight. Food was quite tasty for airline meals.
Cons: Host staff made very few trips up and down the aisles. Have not before been on an Air Canada flight where there are no seat back screens, so it was a surprise not to have any in flight entertainment.

Pros: I got lucky and got a very good seat. that was great. The plane was kept at a very decent temperature - a little cold but not an ice box.
Cons: the food was really of a poor quality. that was quite surprising. even the dessert was inedible.

Cons: On the Montreal-Athens leg the meal was free but of poor quality and quantity. Breakfast was just a piece of banana bread... No entertainment system in the aircraft. Had to rent iPad with very poor quality earphones (struggled to listen to the movies) Also some of the movies were not adjusted for the iPad which translated into using only a portion of the iPad screen.

Cons: Their entertainment system relied on customer iPads! Software proved nearly impossible to install. Food service very slow.

Pros: Attendants were polite. Flying get was smooth. Facilities were clean.
Cons: The baggage check-in line was ambiguous and took 1 hour. No one to direct traffic, so people were cutting in line and were frustrated.

Cons: The worst flight i ever had.We payed so much money and the service in the flight was poor.No snacks, no breakfast,no moister towels to clean our selfs like other companys do.Got in Athens ok went to get our luggages no luggages to get.It took me about one hour to get everything straight.I had to leave for my island because the Taxi was waiting for me.I got my luggages after 3 days delivered in my home.I will not travel again with AIR CANADA.
