"The check-in process couldn't have been worse. Besides they have no customer service to speak of, I wasn't able to purchase a 2nd checked bag prior to the trip, the app just wouldn't let me no matter what. I spent over an hour on hold waiting for a rep who wasn't able to help me. At the airport we politely asked the rep to help since we were unable. She flatly refused to do anything. When we asked to speak to a supervisor she said she was one of the most senior people there and if "We're still not happy she can give me a number to call where I can wait on hold for over 2 hours to be told the same thing I'm telling you now." Absolutely atrocious. First and definitely LAST time flying Allegiant."

"Flight was full. Flight crew was chippy and acted like they didn't want to be there. Lady at the boarding gate was same way."

Cons: "Sat on the runway and at the jetway at LAX for over an hour because they couldn’t locate a ground crew to get everyone off the plane. Changed gates to try to help. What airline can’t get their customers off the plane?"

Pros: "Crew was friendly, just wish they would offer a full can of soda or a water after a 3 hour delay."
Cons: "Leaving on time, but that wasn’t Allegiant fault. The 3 hour delay was all weather related."

Cons: "Communication is always my #1 complaint with Allegiant. They delay flights regularly but there’s never any additional information...they just send you a text or email saying your flight is delayed, never tell you why, but they want you at the gate at the regular time...so you sit there for hours with No further communication and the gate agents never come to the gate to let you know what’s going on or what to expect because corporate has gotten stingy with regard to compensating folks even when THEY are to blame for the delay. Two trips in a row, two weeks apart, they’ve done the same thing to us. I appreciate the low fares, but I’ve just about decided I’d rather pay more for good customer service because theirs just sucks."

Cons: "Not all passengers wore masks. During a contagious pandemic. What the actual hell? Also, the tray tables are too small to use for anything, and we didn’t even get a free drink. Water and soda are so cheap, it’s absurd. I’d never take Allegiant again if they weren’t basically the only airline operating out of my town’s small airport."

Pros: "The plane was very clean and well lit. The crew was excellent. Very friendly and nice."
Cons: "The seats are pretty uncomfortable. They are so close together and there is no room to store anything. The tray tables are a joke, you can't even fit an iPad on them. The bag check process was trouble at both legs. They have lower weight limits than the major carriers and that really should be highlighted better when you book with Allegiant. Also, bag checkin for the flight I was on started at 7:45am. There were only 2 people at the checkin counter and one of them was busy doing something and ignoring the customers. So that was a little annoying."

Cons: "I am so angry booking with them. I booked the flight and then thought, ok I will add a rental car. It said clearly that the rental Car could be canceled up until 24 hours before the flight. Well, 2 weeks before the flight, my friend said, don’t get a rental car, I will have my car. So I cancelled and only then did I find out that once I booked it through their site I could not get a refund for the car and I could only get a voucher for use on one of their flights! And only after they take out any fees and costs that was accrued! So angry!"

Cons: "Worst plane trip. I am a bigger girl, and I could not even buckle my seat belt due to the size of the chair. I have never had this issue on any other plane flight. It was incredibly noisy, and rough ride. I will not travel again."

Cons: "Where to start... i guess for starters EVERYTHING is an upcharge. I was suprissed the seatbelts were included! Less legroom than a Cesna 152 and surrounded by 159 of my closest friends. And i mean SURROUNDED. That cabin is SO tight! So tight in fact the seats are a blow mold plastic with roughly 1.5" of foam and fabric. Think go-cart bucket seat with some foam rubber and pleather. Then there's luggage... My carry on bag (that I've used for 15yrs) was too big for the jig at the counter so got to check it for an additional $10 (above the $30 i had to pay to bring it) and they charged me $40 for my original check bag. The hitch is that they only allow 40lbs ($1/lb) for that check bag when the rest of the industry says 50lbs is the norm. Oops, gotta pay for that too! And wait for it... sodas are $2 in flight!"

Pros: "We were supposed to have boarded for 5:00, flight was at 6pm. They were missing 1 crew member and could board the plane. She showed up, then they made a announcement that the Oakland flight will be delayed till 8:10 takeoff. I was able to get on a flight to Stockton Airport without problem. They wouldnt tell me what was wrong, and i didnt want to chance that it was the last dlight to Oakland and went with Stockton. The flight was good, you have to pay for your water."

Cons: "6+ hour delays Plane looked to be in sad shape, paint peeling, looked bolted together from spare parts. Strange Air Conditioning issues mid-flight that turned the plane into a walk-in freezer. upon landing our entire flights bags were abandoned and there wasn't a single Allegiant representative in the airport to communicate with the airport baggage people. After 1.5 hour wait our bags were finally offloaded onto the baggage claim by an airport employee not normally tasked with the job. Allegiant was paged over and over with no response. I will NEVER fly Allegiant again."

Pros: "Arrived an hour before flight. Check in took 25 min and tsa 30 minutes. Tried to go through expedite line but agent refused to let me even though flight was leaving in 30 minutes. I have received better treatment in new York airports than here in Myrtle Beach. Who would have thought. There were 3 others that missed the flight. Why would they not just let's be expedited?"
